I called this store 8 times in the past two weeks at different times of the day, including at 10:05am when I figured the store may be less crowded but NOT ONCE did they pick up. So as the phone message suggests, I left voice mail messages - 3 times. No way to get a hold of them so I then contacted the Education Center and they offered to send the message to the store manager and that I would be contacted within 24 hours - THAT never happened either. So I called the Education Center again . . . . . . one put me on hold for 7 minutes to "investigate" the matter. And throughout this entire process, including working with the Education Center, not one took the esponsibility of the situation as a representative of Lululemon and offered an apology for the lack of responsiveness from their team AND for my inconvenience for simply wanting to make a purchase. Now they finally wrote me an email (email address left with the Education Center) giving NO explanation as to why they never pick up their phone but only to say they accidentally deleted my voice mail and that is why they could not call me back . . . well unfortunately, I left them THREE voice mails so they deleted all 3???!!! read more

My girlfriend and I came in here the other day and received the best customer service! After receiving some snobby service from other locations, this Americana location is our new favorite. Good selection for women AND men and the best part is the whole second floor is markdowns! I wish I could remember every girl's name that helped us because they were so friendly and informative- one told us that they are the markdown store for the LA region so they get all of the markdowns for all of the stores in LA and have the biggest selection. I was so impressed! My girlfriend is currently (anxiously) waiting for her new black Avenue Pants that are being hemmed and one of the girls said must've been a return because those never go on sale! It's a two day wait for the hemming which impressed both of us and we can't wait to go back to check out if more sale items came in! Sure, if you buy everything full price regularly it is expensive, but why not head upstairs and check out the sale!? And remember, you get what you pay for! So Lulu is always worth it. Wow, really? $90 pants? Whoa, they have tall sizes? Wait, they hem? I'll try to them on just to see what's so great about them....whoa "bounce breakers" what's that....yay sports bras that support my friends! Went to Lululemon Athletica and had sticker shock. I was pleasantly surprised when I picked up a two pairs of Capris that were half off, and they still hemmed them for free (Wanted to show more calf) and they shipped them to my work. CUTE! The clothes are def different then your average workout apparel. Although it is VERY pricey, I can see the apparel lasting much longer then the usual "sweater". Staff was very helpful and friendly. Pointed out diff "options" a sweater jacket had when I was comparing it to a "cheaper" option. My friend and I looked everywhere for a good sports bra. I mean EVERYWHERE!!! It's not easy when your rather....how should I say it......Top Heavy lol. I went in to this store at the end of the day feeling pretty lost. I began to browse the shelves. Before I knew it Bobby the sales attendant came over and started to ask me and my friend some questions. She was amazing she pulled arm fulls of different types for our needs. Separated them by size and color so we could keep track. Then as I was in the dressing room she was pulling other ones she thought might be good and then throwing some clearance ones over the top. Her service was amazing in fact after I'm done with this I'll be writing a letter to their corporate office about her. Since I'm writing reviews. Love this place and the people here. Everyone here knows the lululemon brand. They do various activities and sports so they know which stuff will work for you and not work for you etc. They're not there to sell you whatever. Also they remembered me. Which I'm not sure is a good or bad thing... jk. I'm not the easiest person to help because I don't do just one thing. I do martial arts, weight lifting, cross training etc They're also really good about policies, tailoring and other customer services. The stock here is good too. How good is the customer service? To be perfectly honest.. I have actually never bought anything there. But I wanted to write a review of the store and staff because they rock that hard :) I walk my dogs through the Americana almost every day. The highlight of that particular walk for my Jack Russell is stopping in this store for a dog cookie .. The staff here are always so friendly and nice to us when we come in.. They even pay attention to the dogs, who love it ! The store is always,always so clean and well-organized.. and even when I come in with the dogs, if there is a customer the staff is helping they, will smile towards us, but give their full attention back to the customer which is excellent!!! I do promise to buy something here one day :) But in the meantime.. I want to give the people who work there kudos for their perfect work ethics and friendliness. read more

I don't know what it is, but I really like the store layout in comparison to other Lululemons (Santa Monica, Costa Mesa, Brea). Maybe I just like the Americana? I must admit I am a Lulu addict and about 1/5th of my wardrobe is dedicated to athleisure or Lulu items. I don't think all their items are worth the price but a few of my staple favorites are scuba hoodies, pace rival crops, pj pants and most bags. Oh! And some of their new Nulu items are amazing. They have a pretty large sale section upstairs but the best deals are on Black Friday and Boxing Day. On those days, you may have to start lining up at 4am to beat the crowd. A year ago, they even handed out gift cards to the first few in line- it was awesome. Lululemon still holds a dear place in my heart, and hope you like this store as much as I do. :-) read more

This is by far the best Lululemon store I've been to, and trust me, I've been to a lot of them all over the country. They have the most selection of colors for all items, some not even sold on line. The entire second floor is a sale section, not just a tiny rack like other stores. The staff here are very helpful and friendly. Not specific to any location, just the retailer in general. Received a gift from a friend of two lululemon items, a racerback tank and a jacket. Cute, really liked the style of both and the fabrics. Both are a size too small, so I called and emailed about returning. Was told...multiple times...and without them truly caring that since it had been over TWO weeks and I had no gift receipt (even though tags, including price, are still on the items) they could not exchange or return. TERRIBLE customer service, an I DON'T CARE attitude and very arrogant about their products. Will NOT shop there, will encourage others to do the same. Wished my experience with this store and service had been pleasent as others have mentioned. With exception of course to the day I spent money in their store. I spent almost $300 for just a few items and most being on sale. My husband & I proceeded to go back to the store to exchange a pair of jogging pants ($108 reg price). Let me make clear not worn. He had instinctively removed the tag to try them on. He loved the pants but the back pocket was not big enough to hold his wallet. I felt for what I paid for them, we should exchange them for something he could pick out on his own. He picked a pair that he liked priced a little higher $128. The cashier was extremely surly with us, pointing out that the reciept said the tags must be attached to the garment in order to exchange and then proceeded to iterate the long list of rules & policies on reciept in fine print that we had not noticed. "WHAT" has happened to servicing the customer? She did manage to make an "exception" to exchange the pants, but not before embarrassing us and treating us like common criminals before leaving the store. We will never shop there again!!!! I was so upset I decided to call the manager of the store to talk to her about what happened... This provided little comfort as she defended her team indicating they only get compliments for their team's service?? SO BUYER BEWARE...DOES NOT MATTER HOW MUCH YOU SPEND $$$$ IN THIS STORE AT THE AMERICIAN IN GLENDALE.... THE CUSTOMER IS NOT EVER RIGHT!! read more

worst experience ever. I had never want to write a bad review to any store. This is the first time that really makes me upset/disappointed. The worst service ever. After I decided I want to buy two T-shirts, and a coat, I asked lady if she can help me find new ones at back( they used to check and bring new ones for me every time in the past). Then she said why, all these outside are new, no one had tried. I said I prefer the new ones. She said is there a problem with them, I said yes. There is a loose thread on the coat. She said it's just thread. Then I check on the others(not the size for me), they don't have issue like this. So I told her it's not just a thread, it's loosen. If I pull it, it will open. Then she talk with her colleague something about it( I believe saying something like it's just a thread blah blah....). Then her colleague tried help me to find a new one at back. But not for the coat. I decided not to buy anything from this store any more( although my boyfriend always buy t-shirts and pants from this store). If the coat is on discount, or it's $10-20, I think I can buy it like that and fix by myself. However it's $100+, then I need to spent time to fix it. Haha. Not worth that. Located next to Ugg Australia this is the best Lululemon store in Southern California. Two stories full of Lululemon love. The first floor houses all the new items and the second level is all the discounted items. Usually a store would have one rack of sale. Not here. They have one rack per size!!! This alone convinced me to invest in 5 pairs of pants so far....Tops are stylish, provide the necessary coverage and length for your desired activity and give a bit of sexiness to your outfit. I highly recommend the bang buster headband if you sweat a lot and/or want to keep your hair out of your face when you're working out like a beast! I love love love lululemon. I have my sister-in-law to thank (or blame?) for that! She knew aboot lululemon in Canada, eh, before they opened up shop in the states. If I didn't have to pay rent/bills, I'd totally drop my whole paycheck in this store. I don't wear any pants or crops to the gym that aren't lulu. They fit so well (FYI, they hem everything for free, even if you bought it from them years ago) and these pants will make your butt look awesome! I don't really do yoga, but I lift, cycle, hike and run in this gear, and it wears amazingly well. Don't be discouraged by the price tag. Try on a pair of Groove pants, and you'll be hooked. read more

They recently came out with a men's line and I am not the yoga tights kind of girls so I instantly loved their mens athletic shorts and also all their men's line of pants. The great thing about it is that their clearance section at this store offers a lot of my sizes in men's because men are not in tune with themselves to wear this brand... well that's my feeling. Amazing. Secret. Sale. Selection. I was told that this store is half-outlet, which made sense when I climbed the stairs to see people feverishly hunting for their sizes on the many racks. FYI - They aren't the most welcoming stairs (you wonder if you're even allowed to be up there). As with most outlets, you won't find much 'basic black' but you will find some killer deals if you don't mind seasonal patterns and colors. Keep an eye out for the paper signs on the wall (sample sale vibes) that denote special pricing, or, if the item you find is marked lower, they will honor that. Happy hunting! read more

There's a lululemon close to my house about 10 min, this store is 45 min from my home and I choose to come here because they have wonderful service. You are always welcomed with a friendly hello and a great smile(thank you guys for that). Everyone is very helpful and I love it that some of the educators always go above and beyond to show me new items and give me their opinion.
