    Three meat sampler
    Jude A.

The ambience was super chill, and the server was very accommodative. For my beverage, I enjoyed a glass of "aviation." I ordered the three-meat sampler with fried okra and macaroni and cheese. The ribs were very juicy, tender, and delicious. The sausage was very flavorful as well. The brisket was well-seasoned. The fried okra and macaroni and cheese were also tasty and delicious.

Bbq nachos were great, service was exceptional. Outside seating was awesome. I would definitely come back here.

The Mac and cheese is 10/10!!! Definitely a must! The cornbread with the sweet butter is also good. The salad was hugeeeee. The trio sliders was great, they let you pick 3 different meats for each if you like! I did turkey, brisket and chicken! The sauces are also so good. Plenty of seating indoors and out!

Awesome food and service. In town for a wedding and went for lunch. Fried pickles so yum and this sauce adds a great spicy level.

The food was delicious! I was looking for a good bbq spot near me. The menu was vast and everything sounded so good. The service was great. They were very prompt and attentive. The atmosphere is very cute and feels exactly like what a bbq place should feel like. Very rustic but goes well.

I love bbq!!! This place is sooo good! We drive an hour sometimes just to go here. Love the atmosphere - when it's warm / open air. Waitresses will close the tent flaps on the patio if you ask though. Food typically comes out quickly and service is always friendly. Our family loves it- got the 4 person family platter so we could have leftovers. Brisket is what we came for but also had ribs - both soooo tasty! The cornbread with cinnamon sugar butter- heck ya! Fried okra with homemade ranch and comes with coleslaw too. Kids liked the Mac and cheese. Kids loved the slushie strawberry lemonade. I loved my sangria slushee .

Cool little spot. Food came out quick. Bathrooms clean. Great customer service. Kid friendly. I'm here for a softball tournament and I would bring the whole team here next time.

This trip not worth the time to type this review. The brisket was tough, chewy, sausage below average and the fried okra overcooked. If it was for the Mac and cheese and the chicken it would be a total flop. The server was one of the other saving graces to the evening. He asked and I was honest and he asked if we would like him to take care of the meal and we said no. It's the thought that counts. But this trip was not the same experience as twice before.

Fresh Point cut brisket was great!

Best BBQ and service. They have a great appetizer list and great menu options. Servings are always large and worth the price.

They have GF clearly marked on the menu, I ordered items that needed no modification. I did not have a reservation as I was by myself both nights so I sat at the high top at the bar. This place seems visited regularly by the locals/regulars and I heard more than one state it was the best happy hour in the area. I ordered the same filet both nights, with a dinner salad to start. I loved the butter lettuce and the herb dressing, it does get soggy quick...be prepared it is not crisp. The steak was cooked how I ordered it, medium, both nights. The second night they did charge me a steak meal that came with spinach and mashed potato ( I did not order and did not want). I did try a bite of the mash and they needed some seasoning. I did not ask for a refund on the items I did not order. Overall, great place. Expect a bit slower service when seated in the bar area. There were a good amount of parties upon our arrival at 5:30. I ordered the 45 day dry age ribeye. It was bursting with flavor. It was cooked to a perfect medium rare. The Old Town Old Fashioned was also quite nice. So nice I had 2 . Get the lemon torte and thank me later. I'm not a sweets guy, but it is a must try. The only minor downside was the service was a bit slow. They were almost at capacity by the time we left around 7:30 which may have contributed to that. I'd definitely come back and take a seat at the bar to travel even further back in time.

The sound and the joy gave off such a great vibe immediately when walking into this establishment. This review is based on a sit down dinner and a take out on another night because our sit down was so good! Here's all that we tried: POST CHEDDAR BISCUITS - hot and cheesy - these were not as flakey as they looked like they were going to be. Not bad, but nothing to write home about. ROASTED BRUSSELS SPROUTS - sweet and spicy peppers, garlic mojo, cotija cheese | *a portion of sales from this item go to Zero Foodprint -- an org working to combat climate change in the food & beverage industry - these were good, great crispiness, char was flavorful and the sauce was sweet and tangy. Subsequently, I made a hash for breakfast with leftovers from here and these proved to be GOOD flavoring. GREEN CHILE BISON SAUSAGE BOARD (LAFAYETTE) - Rock river bison sausages, hard boiled eggs, dill pickles, bread and butter pickle relish, baked baguette, peach honey mustard - I'm a sucker for charcuterie, the bison sausage was so delicious, I ordered another after we finished the first. This also went into the next day hash! FRIED HALF CHICKEN - our famous gluten free fried chicken, choice of side, pickles, and a biscuit - ordered this on or second visit (takeout night) and did not regret a thing. It was fantastically fried to crispy perfection. The chicken was juicy and tasted like they brined it in pickle juice. CHICKEN TENDERS - all natural tenders, breaded and fried, served with ranch - good chicken, also went into the hash. OG POST BURGER*- american cheese, bacon onion jam, special sauce, griddled sourdough english muffin & fries - good burger, personally, I'd appreciate better cheese! QUINOA & KALE - quinoa, kale, arugula, roasted sweet potatoes, pickled red onions, roasted tomatoes, cucumbers, toasted sesame and sunflower crunch, lemon tahini dressing - the dressing MADE this salad, good job Chef! PUEBLO GREEN CHILE MAC & CHEESE - nothing spectacular, I would have liked this with more green chile and a better cheese base. The parking isn't a lot, but it didn't seem like people had trouble at all. We walked. It's a great little neighborhood restaurant. As I said early on, it was tasty enough to warrant a second visit!

TV's over the bar are impossible to watch from the bar if you're not an Owl and have a double joint neck. They're located at 90 degrees ABOVE the bar?? Owners have strategically placed the one TV in the bar over the sweltering patio to maximize glare, so nothing can be clearly seen. But good news: you can lower shades, YOURSELF to partially reduce the glare! Why can't management do it? Maybe they're not getting their cut from the $20/cheese burger?! Maybe they're too ignorant to know The World Cup Soccer Finals are playing? Atmosphere is horrible for watching sports. Prices are absurd, and service beyond taking orders is absent. Pay for a beer, then find another place. Better yet, just go elsewhere. This is more a family fried chicken restaurant for those that cannot order from Chik-fil-A after church, or for the 1% or Earth's population that's never heard of KFC.
