Lumberjack Pizza is a quality pizza house in the local Flagstaff downtown area. The staff is quick and efficient, the pizza is good and the beer is customized for the area with local brews. This is my first stop at Lumberjack and I enjoyed it. We needed a nice lunch and pizza and wings seemed the ticket. The eatery is right off of Route 66 and San Francisco st. After visiting the local shops , stopping by at a pizza and wing joint was needed for lunch. The music is playing classic 70s, and 80s rock and pop. Cool for classic rock music lovers. We ordered a 12inch meatlovers pizza and it was surprisingly large (couldn't have been just 12"). The wings we ordered were also very good. In fact, just that one 12" pizza and wings was enough for all 3 of us adults to eat and we all can eat a lot. The flavors and the freshness of the pozza was good. It came out hot and crisp on the crust. The layers of crust and cheese remind me of the Midwestern style pizza , but with a slightly thinner crust. Somewhere halfway between Midwestern and NY style pizza. All in all it was a good experience, the oizza , wings and drinks all loved up to expectations and the staff was great while the nostalgic music hummed along in the background. Good stuff. Terrible! If you want a cheap pizza with almost no toppings that looks nothing like the pictures than come here. TONS of Sauce, little basil and cheese. I ordered Gluten Free which I know never tastes the same but the toppings were terrible. We took it back to see if they could do anything about it which i rarely do but it was expensive for a 12". The guy who "helped" us was very dull and did nothing, just said that's how we make it. Bad bad customer service coming from someone who has worked in costumer service most of my life. We came here for a late dinner after reading all the great reviews. I love to support local owned businesses and my husbands could literally eat pizza and wings every day of his life so this was a win win we hoped. Location was open late which was great and plenty of seating for our large family which is a bit hard at other nearby restaurants. We ordered multiple pizza, wings; both bone in and boneless, as well as a salad and drinks. Service was friendly and we had our drinks right away. The food was brought out as it was made. The antipasto salad was my favorite from the entire meal. The lettuce was crisp, plenty of meat, olives were a good touch and ranch good. My husband, older son and I had the one with pepperoni, ham and bacon (I forget what it was called) and my younger kids stuck to pepperoni for theirs. The boneless wings were a bit sort the kids, but they were not a fan of the pizza. They all complained of the cheese. Our pizza was ok, crust was awesome, sauce wasn't our favorite. The cheese for me as well was a bit too chewy. I don't know how else to describe it. Kinda like poutine texture to me. Again service was great, wings good but pizza just wasn't for us. read more

The atmosphere is laid back and don't let the long lines fool you because the service is incredible! First time here and I thought it would be packed from how good the ratings were on yelp, we got there around 5:30 and it was empty cashier was very nice! The wings were your basic buffalo wings nothing special about them. The pizza was made to a perfect crisp, it was very delicious, the cheese had like a Parmesan taste to it very good. I am so sad to have to leave a negative review, but our experience tonight was extremely disappointing. We stopped by to grab a quick bite to eat before hitting the road back to the valley. With no wait at the counter, we assumed service was moving pretty quickly. None of the specialty pizzas were available by the slice so we adjusted our order to include wings, breadsticks and 2 basic slices. 45 minutes later, we were still waiting for our order and grossly behind schedule. When we asked for a refund, we were told the food was ready and therefore could not be refunded. It was another 5-10 min before our food was brought out in to-go boxes and we only discovered once in the car that the breadsticks were hard as rocks. We are huge fans of small businesses and know it is tough to find good staff right now, but we should have been told how long the wait would be and, ultimately should have gotten the refund when we asked. $48 for poor quality after almost an hour wait means we definitely won't be back. read more

We had 3 pizzas (pepperoni, white pizza, and the works), wings (medium with a side of hot sauce), and a few of the different beers along with a Caesar salad to pretend we were being healthy! It was absolutely delicious. We are usually very picky about crust and this crust was amazing - the perfect amount of outer crunch and inner yum! This location has switched hands several times for whatever reason but we gave it a go with the new owners and I'm actually pretty glad we did. Primarily because the service was superior! I wish I could remember his name but honestly, the guy working was so well informed, so helpful, I thought he was the owner with the way he treated us. We just stopped in for a slice and a drink and he was so thorough in guiding us through the choices. Which, may not sound like something you'd need help with at a pizza place but they have some pretty creative menu options. My wife got a slice, side salad and upgraded to a beer and I got 2 slices and a beer. Price was fair and the white pizza was delicious. So the day that we were here they were extremely busy and only had two people working. Every single table was full with people. We ordered and then sat and waited for our food. We started looking around and noticed how busy it was and how hard the employees were working. The boss needs to pay these two guys a ton more becuase they weee on top of it despite being I would say at least two people short of what should have been there. I was highly impressed. I would also like to point out that service and food quality remained high even tho these guys weee being severely over taxed with additional work. Good job guys. read more

Went there for pizza by the slice and it's only offered "part of the day." Not sure what that means, and several groups of people came in after us asking the same. I would suggest having set days and times if you only do it sometimes. We arrived about 8:00pm on a Saturday night. The only other group in the restaurant had already been served when we ordered. It took 35 minutes to be served our medium pizza. Kitchen seemed unorganized with 3-4 people just walking around and talking. Meanwhile the tables and floor were all dirty from previous parties. Medium meat lover and two sodas were near $30 and the pizza was average at best. Overall just not a good dining experience. read more

There was only one employee working but the service was just was good as if there was a full kitchen working. On top of that, the pizza was some of the best pizza we have ever had out. Great pizza, the crust is so good. I would definitely say this is one of the top pizza places in Flagstaff. Their portal to order online is so easy to use and sooo convenient. The onion rings are delicious and so was the antipasto salad (salad was a little too pricey for what it was though so I don't think I'll order it again). Beer selection is top notch.
