The food was amazing. The customer service was alright. I came in there in a bad mood already after revealing that 2 nearby places were closed and having driven to each location upon finding out. I wasn't sure what I was going to order since I've never been to this place. I ended up ordering a medium pancit and 6 pieces of birdie lumpias - both really good. I just wish the customer service was better. I ordered on the kiosk because that's what was right in front of me when I first entered. It's my first time to this place. I don't know what's better for those who work there. The lady didn't seem to take too kindly to that, she probably felt ignored. And then I asked about turons by pronouncing them as truns and the lady first asked what it is. I described it and she corrected me as if I were Filipino. I'm not. I don't speak Tagalog so don't expect me to pronounce it right. Anyways, I just wanted to mention that the food was really good. The pancit was amazing and so were the lumpias. My husband and I were very excited to try this place, both for the boba, and for the Filipino food. They have boba milk tea floats on the menu, so we tried those in both Ube and Thai tea flavors. With ice cream mixed in, the floats were thicker than regular milk tea, which made them even more dessert-like. Our favorite of the two flavors was the Ube. Hubby ordered the Lechon Kawali (fried pork belly) and he liked it so much he couldn't stop thinking about it after we left. I was going to order the veggie lumpia, but it turns out those aren't made in-house, so I decided to pass. That's the only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5. Everything we tried was good and we are certainly planning to visit again to try more of their menu items. Food is delicious, however the wait time is looooonggggg. We waited over 30 mins for our food once we ordered. Next time, we will order online and will pick up so we don't have to sit and wait inside. If you wait inside for your order they asked us if we wanted our drinks right after we ordered or with our food. Since the wait was going to be so long, we asked for our drinks right away. But then we didn't have anything to drink once our food came out. So definitely something to think about. This is more of a to-go spot, but there is about 3 or 4 tables to sit at. My husband ordered the Longsilog with garlic fried rice and a sunny side up egg and a peach float. He loved both of them. I had the Korean steak silog with garlic fried rice and a sunny side up egg with a peach fruit tea with passion fruit popping boba. These were both really good. A rice platter (spamsilog) with four thin spam spices, one egg over rice is $15... for the portion they give it honestly should be like $9 or $10 max... I came in today and there were two groups of people, (4 people total) ahead of me. I waited 50 minutes. Not 15, fifty. The lady was nice and apologized profusely, but man waiting nearly an hour is pretty crazy. I bought three rice platters and a large pancit.. my bill was nearly $80. Small portions to boot. As a Filipina, it's hard to find restaurants that really represent our culture through food. It's even harder to find the Fil-Am restaurants that are busy! I strolled in on a Thursday at 5:30. I was the only person I'm in the restaurant and wanted to give them a try. I ordered the spamsilog and 6 piece pork lumpia. The spam was fried perfectly and served over a bed of garlic rice served with sesame ketchup. The lumpia was delicious. Most places give you mediocre lumpia or put frozen veggies inside but not this place! As I got my food, more and more people starting to come into the place. I loved the vibe when I walked in. My husband and I finally wanted to go out today and I'm so happy I went on yelp and searched for Asian food because Lumpia Ko showed up on my search list!! We've been living in the Antelope area for 2 years and we've never heard of this restaurant. The fact that we always go to Bel Air says a lot about how we never explore the area lol. When I search for a new spot to eat I always read the review and majority of the review is saying that it's expensive. Even though it says that I still wanted to give it a try. Customer Service: The staffs are super nice and friendly!! Food: We waited about 25 - 30 minutes but that's because the food is cooked fresh! We took the food home. The food was packed nicely and safe! The food looked amazing!! We were so excited to eat it! The food was so delicious and it reminded me of my mom's cooking! Each food came with rice of your choice, eggs, the food you choose and dipping sauce. I would say that you get a good amount of portion for what you paid for. I couldn't even finish my food but I did cause it was soooo good! Yes it's more pricey than other restaurants but I understand that it's pandemic and you're paying for the quality and freshness of the food. Overall, I'm sooo happy for our first experience. I left my mom's home 5 years ago and I miss her Filipino food every single day. I try to learn our traditional foods but there are some that I haven't learned yet. My family and I ordered the pork lumpia, spicy thai pork belly over steamed rice, and lechon/fried pork belly over steamed rice; the food was divine. I especially love how you can add as many eggs you would like to the order and it comes w a cute carrot heart! Who can resist. The prices were reasonable for the portions they serve and the service was excellent. The lady was friendly and patient as it was my first time ordering. It was a good quick fix for missing the food in Hawaii. The restaurant is smaller than most, so can be crowded; however, it was clean and peaceful for friends or family to dine in and eat. A plus is that they also serve milk tea, so definitely a place for friends to chat, snack and drink milk tea. :) I have my own preference of boba, and they didn't serve the flavor I prefer so I didn't order any. Pretty good for a grand opening, despite the expected long waits, a long line, and a couple missteps. I came around 5pm and the line was out the door, with about 5 people in front of me and lots of people waiting in the small dining area for their orders. You'll find a few different lumpias (pork, chicken, and veggie), silogs (choice meat, garlic fried rice, and 2 over easy eggs), and several flavors of boba drinks and ice cream on the menu. No halo halo today but heard it will be on the regular menu soon. I ordered the "bangsilog," ($14) a fried milkfish, served with tomato and onion, a ton of garlic fried rice, and 2 eggs over-easy. The filleted fish was super tasty and crispy. The only thing missing was a side of vinegar and "patis" (fish sauce) that is traditionally paired with the diced tomato and onion. Not sure if they offer those condiments, but they 100% need to, along with soy sauce, and sriracha or tabasco. Everything is takeout for now. I was only given a fork and napkins. Please throw in a spoon and knife and have those extra condiments available. The rice and eggs were cooked perfectly. I didn't try the lumpia ($7), but be aware there is a charge for extra sweet chili sauce! The kitchen was behind 30+minutes, so have patience during this soft opening period. I also ordered the "ube float," ($6.50) which was the ube milk tea with a scoop of ube ice cream and choice of boba. The girls making the boba drinks were on top of it so those were served quicker. In fact, I already finished my ube float before my food was ready. They only have 1 size for their boba drinks and no option to adjust sweetness or ice levels. Nonetheless, I enjoyed my drink. The people in front of me were paying with cash and told after ordering they only take cards. The cashier (owner?) made an exception, but they need to put a sign on the door and at the register saying NO CASH. Easy fix to avoid losing customers or anger customers, after waiting in a long line, just to find out they can't place their order. Another customer wanted to place a large order of lumpia but was told they limit 2 orders per person. That is fine but let us know!!! Another sign on the door would help or add that to the menu. I hope they fix these small issues and work on the timing in the kitchen, because the community was so excited for this restaurant to open and showed there's a definite want and need for Filipino food and boba in this area. Food selection - their menu selection was scarce, nothing jumped out of the extraordinary. Somehow, they do not have pancit on their menu. The barbeque on a stick was a 30 minute wait I heard, but I've also waited 30 minutes for my order and didn't order barbeque. I ordered Bangsilog - Boneless deep fried white fish, 2 eggs cooked to your liking, and garlic rice $14.00 Lychee juice with boba $6.50 Taste - mediocre; I couldn't taste garlic on their garlic rice, the fried fish was overcooked, I really have nothing to rave about their food. Price - I don't mind paying the price as long as it is worth it! This one was a waste of my time and money. Quality of food - what quality? Boba drink - $6.50 is pricey compared to other bubble tea places around Service - mediocre, one lady that was ahead of me was charged for an extra dipping sauce for the lumpia she ordered. She went back to ask for soy sauce, she was told they do not have soy sauce! Overall experience - major disappointment! Wife and I made our first visit to this restaurant in mid-October 2021. They have been open for about three weeks at the time of this review. Location: Bel Air Shopping Center at Elverta Rd and Walerga Rd in Antelope, next to the pool supply place in a space formerly occupied by Rita's Ice Cream. Service model: Currently operating strictly as a takeout joint, probably due to the pandemic. Order at the counter, wait, take your food and go. Menus are on large flat-screen TVs on the wall behind the counter, one for boba and at least one for food, which were easy to read. Some sort of current "music" was (loudly) playing which was a little annoying, but in my defense I'm I'm my mid-50s and am annoyed by most music produced after 2000 anyway. Our meal: We ordered three items - 10pc classic (pork) lumpia, 6pc deep fried shumai (3 pork + 3 shrimp), and large bihon pancit (daily special and not available every day). The food: Overall, we were quite impressed with our meal. All entrees were served very hot. The lumpia were not particularly large, but decent sized and they were filling. They were served with sweet & sour sauce on the side. The deep-fried shumai were tasty but I really couldn't tell the difference between the pork and shrimp pieces. The bihon pancit was huge and pretty yummy. I personally would have enjoyed a bit more cabbage and meat but I didn't feel cheated. The portion size was way more than two people can eat, so yay leftovers! The service: Staff were very friendly and efficient. Business was steady and there were a couple of home delivery drivers, but our wait time was only about seven minutes for piping hot food. Packaging for our entrees was efficient and sustainable, but they also have plastic containers for other sizes or items. Value: Our meal was about $38, which seems a bit on the spendy side but prices everywhere are going up so it didn't feel out of line. The quality and freshness of the food justified the cost. Plus, it's quite a drive to find other Filipino food options. Summary: We definitely liked our experience and look forward to trying their other offerings. They're pretty good compared to the modest alternatives available in Antelope, and we hope they get enough business to last longer than their predecessor. read more

When the worker warns you that the adobo is hot, TRUST HER. She warned me three times. She put it in it's own bag. She looked me right in the eye and said BE CAREFUL--it's HOT. And I proceeded to open it up, right there in my car, and immediately spilled piping hot adobo all over myself. Fortunately, much of it remained in the container, and when I finally cleaned myself off and arrived home, I was able to enjoy it in all its (still hot) deliciousness. I also enjoyed the chicken lumpia, even though it seems a little pricey compared to the lumpia sold at Starbread or Lollicup. The chicken lumpia is so perfect, crunchy, and addicting. The Longsilog with garlic rice is so good with the over easy egg, heaven sent. Lastly, the spicy Korean noodles are SO good and flavorful.
