Got the chicken + gyro meat combo. It was about $17. I really liked the gyro meat and my boyfriend really liked the chicken. They make you choose a salad or hummus, which I think they should give you both for the price that you're paying. We chose the spicy hummus which was a m a z i n g. In going to stop coming here. I have celiac so finding a place that takes their gluten free items seriously is really important. The staff isn't well versed in the menu and I've gotten sick a couple times eating here. Last time I ate here, I made sure to inform the staff I was ordering the specific item because it was gluten free. My salad came out with a few cous cous pearls in it which was a clear misstep in food handling. The time before I ended up with a two day stomach ache and a migraine. I definitely do not recommend this place for celiac, if you're just looking for gluten free options and can handle cross contact it's fine. Celiac beware. read more

The food is always good and hmm at times the tables can be cleaned more often. They do get busy. I always get the signature beef kabob with salad and no rice. Definitely delicious. This location is located in the Carlsbad Mall. There was one incident that I found something in my dish but I brought it to the attention of the manager on duty who tried to give us a dessert but I kindly decline. I really like this place. The gyros are great. They also have a salmon plate that is delicious. I like that they don't overdo the seasons on their salmon. I can not spell taziki sauce but theirs is very good. The service is very nice very friendly staff and the food is very fresh. Why only 3 stars you ask. Well when I first started eating here they had the Greek lemon soup. It was outstanding, one of the best soups I ever had. But for some reason they stopped serving it. It was my favorite thing to eat here. I still like eating here, but not as much as I used to. I am posting this review because I am hoping they will bring the soup back. read more

Update to my review. Corporate contacted me to say their normal 2oz containers were on back order & should you receive anything smaller that you should be getting 2 for the price of 1. Thx Luna Grill for correcting that. I do love the food but they've changed their sauce container sizes and I've reached out to corporate to see if we should be getting 2 since they are not measuring out at 1.5oz. Corporate won't call me back so maybe they will if enough of us customers ask them to either go back to their old containers that contained the correct measurements, give us 2 containers of sauces to measure up, or reduce their prices, since they are reducing their portions. I know it's not much but when you add in 5-8 sides b/c 1 isn't enough, it adds up. read more
