The food is delicious, but every time I order from there my order is wrong. They forget a sauce, don't substitute as requested in the app, or send the wrong order. It's so irritating. But the food is so good. Just eat in where they can fix your order if they screw it up. The gyro near is excellent & not at all gamey. The salads are yummy because the sauces are amazing. This was our 4th visit to this location yesterday (August 13th) and the service was great as usual, but the lunch time staff went above and beyond. Most dishes are $10-$12 which can feel on the higher end of casual dinning. I ordered the Better Beet Salad and added grilled chicken on top. They mentioned it would take 10-15 minutes. My salad came out within 5 minutes. Chicken was very tender. Not dry at all. I enjoyed the unique combination of salad toppings. It had crunchy nuts, tart dressing, sweet beets, savory chicken. The food here is usually solid, always been a fan of Luna, and the attitudes are usually great of the employees. So I was caught off guard by the lady taking my order being so resistant to toss my salad. Dressing gets everywhere when trying to toss a salad, it can be a real issue wearing light colored clothing, it's one of my biggest pet peeves and most restaurants will offer to toss salad, Mendocino farms Asks you when you place your order. I should not feel bad about asking to have my salad tossed, this is basic stuff. To be fair, they did take care of my friend by upgrading from chicken to gyro meat for free, to speed up the preparation time. read more

We were greeted right when we came in the restaurant. A man in a dress shirt was very kind, he greeted us and checked on us later on. All the guests were acknowledged and serviced to. The customer service is absolutely 100% amazing. We were helped right away as well by Daniel. He was very friendly and helpful. He was able to help us order exactly what we wanted and how we wanted it. He was asking questions to help us out going above and beyond listening carefully and offering and telling us helpful details to help us get what we want. We haven't been here in a long time so this was very refreshing customer service. Elise checked on our table and took our dirty dishes away very politely asking first. She is very professional, kind, and helpful as well. She helped me with the survey completion as well as offered different options. She was very patient. I was at the outlets in Carlsbad and was looking for a quick dinner spot. Never been to Luna Grill but from the reviews and pictures I thought this place would be a great fit to dine here. Ordered like a sampler appetizer plate that had hummus, grape leaves, puts bread and something that I've never had before. It was little small balls with a pretty light and refreshing taste. Either way it was pretty good. Had two chicken kabob plates and one Cornish hen plate. Overall the chicken and the plates were all large amounts of food. Ate all of this between four hungry ladies and we killed it. Everyone enjoyed the food and the flavors and some have never tried Mediterranean food before. Overall I'm glad we had such a fun time and this place was really clean and the food was delicious. They should open up a Luna Grill in Los Angeles I think it would be a total hit here. Luna Grill is still pretty solid as far as a healthy-ish option for lunch or dinner, but the prices recently went up. This time last year, a chicken kabob plate was $10.50, but now it'll cost you $11.25, and the flat-cut chicken has gone up to $12.25. While it may only be a $1.25 increase on most plates, once tax gets added you're spending around $15 for a single meal. I am by no means stingy when it comes to spending my money on good food, but if prices will continue to increase there are a couple of good business issues that should first be addressed: - There needs to be a separate pickup line for online or phone-in orders! When I place a large order online for myself and coworkers, arriving 20-30 minutes later for pickup (as suggested in the order confirmation email I receive), it's incredibly frustrating to have to wait in line for another 10+ minutes behind several people who are ordering to dine in. There needs to be a speedy priority line for those of us who planned ahead and need to get in and out promptly. - The online ordering system was also recently updated, and it sucks. We used to log in with a username and password, ordering on average $80 worth of food, and never saw a single "membership" benefit. Now, they require an email to login, so it seems we've lost all of our past order history. Bottom line: there don't seem to be any perks for creating an account. Food quality is still mostly consistent, but with prices continuing to rise, there needs to be a better streamlined process for to-go orders. read more
