Food is pretty pricey but what isn't pricey nowadays. Every time I dine here, I get the santorini bowl with gyro meat and a side of tahini sauce to drizzle on top. It's so delicious and filling. The service is very friendly and whenever I come here for lunch on a weekday at 11am, there are always seats available to dine-in. The seating area is very clean and comfortable as well. read more

Don't order delivery. I had to wait 2 hours for my delivery and it wasn't accurate. They charged me twice and the partnership with DoorDash is not good. The dasher picked up my food and left with it then cancelled my order after taking my payment and tip. So annoyed. Love the food but come on. And the manager promised to deliver the original food ordered and it never came... No call nothing... Not very good service read more

Walking in I loved the throwback pop hits which created a warm ambiance and fun environment. Everybody was very kind in helping me order as well as checking up on me throughout my meal. Solid Greek eatery with fresh tasting dishes. Luna grill is located next to UCI, there are lots of other restaurants along the mall with a huge parking lot. The mall itself was pretty packed with college kids but Luna grill was pretty quiet when we came at 07:00. The place is small with several table seatings. Menu has green style food including plates, pita sandwich, salads, and bowls. I got the chicken pita sandwich with salad on the side ($15) with some white wine ($7). Food came out within 15 min, the white wine was solid, smooth and easy to drinks. My pita was decent size and it came with a side salad, the pita sandwich was a little overdressed with tzatziki sauce but chicken was cooked well and very filling. Overall solid spot for a relatively healthy meal. Would love the try the falafel or gyro my next visit. read more

Khathia, the General Manager of Luna Grill UCI location reached out to me when she saw my posting and the pictures of the burnt koobideh in September. She invited me back for a visit of their location. Two of us finally had time to visit the restaurant yesterday. The store is small but very organized and super clean. Their staff on site are courteous and working really hard at this late hour of a busy Sunday evening. And most importantly, the platters that we ordered were done perfectly and everything was delicious! We always love their chicken kabobs here, but had the steak for the first time, and it was surprisingly very good. The meat was so tender and flavorful. Yummy, clean food. I ordered the santorini bowl with chicken and it was delicious. Although... The downside is that it only came with three small pieces of chicken, so the portions are not entirely filling (especially for the price). The meat was a little overcooked and dry as well. Very commercial Mediterranean cuisine catered to the local public in a chain restaurant style. This is not a mom and pop restaurant. They are very commercial so everything little thing you buy has a cost attached to it. The food is mediocre but they give a lot of rice. It's good for a OC native or who wants something quick on the go or student. It is not as authentic as you can imagine. Their Baklava was amazing. I think that's why I would give this place 4 stars. The service is very rude and dare if you make any changes to your order. Trust me! You will be scolded. It is vegetarian/ vegan friendly. read more

I typically come here on a lunch break. I usually opt for the Santorini Bowl with Falafel which I highly recommend!!! It's light and filling. I recently tried the Modern Greek Chicken Wrap which was ok. I didn't like the wrap too much, I was hoping for more of a pita bread wrap. Flavors where pretty good though. I like Luna grill cause it's a nice light meal for lunch but it's definitely generic Mediterranean food. This location has nice and attentive staff. read more

We arrived to Luna grill, and we were going to order and the cashier said we had to wait because they were restocking (that has NEVER happened to me anywhere, but okay.) Then they brought our order, I had ordered the classic pita wrap and I ended up with the Cali wrap. No biggie, we asked them if they could change it and one worker (super sweet and nice) said they could. They also said they would bring the fries that were ordered and were missing from the delivery of the food. About 20 minutes pass, and they finally bring the fries and say they are still waiting on the wrap. We are waiting another 20 minutes, everyone is done eating and I still haven't received my wrap. I see other people getting their orders but yet I am sitting here waiting for my wrap. We decide there is no point in waiting any longer (I have finished eating, our friend finished eating and my wife was still waiting for food), so we asked for a refund. The cashier seems really upset about the whole situation. I felt her staring at my wife in an upset manner when my wife was looking at the kitchen area to see if her food would arrive- so given the reaction it seems like they had no intention of delivering our food, and were just going to make us wait there. One of the workers said they were trying to get the wrap and that they were pushing for it but the cashier (young blonde girl worker) didn't want to give us the new wrap or the refund. I would like to point out the blatant unprofessionalism of not remaking an order that was messed up by the other cashier. I was told the blonde girl who was working with the kitchen and then as the cashier told them not to remake the wrap and then carried on with new customers and other orders. I think specifically targeting us to not fix an order that was the fault of Luna Grill's staff is honestly unacceptable customer service. The whole situation was awkward as one worker was telling us they would remake it while another was telling kitchen staff not too. The young blonde girl who was doing expo that day should be fired to be honest. She was blatantly rude and caused my wife to not eat lunch after a 45 minute wait for food that was never coming. I'm in shock as a loyal Luna Grill customer. I will also be emailing customer service. read more

2 stars since I think it's overpriced AND i got charged more for sauce which I did not recieve . Fries were fine, a lil greasy but whatever. The pita was not good tho. It was so dry and the meat didn't taste good either. It was also all super oily? And absolutely no flavor. If i had sauce it wouldn't have been so bad but it had literally nothing !!???
