I love this place. Stopped today for a take out lunch for Allison and me. We both had the Lamb kabob plate with rice, salad, pita bread and extra cucumber yogurt dipping sauce. The lamb was so tender and juicy! The portion was large and we've decided next time we will share and order a portion of spicy humus to share as well. Hopefully we'll be back soon. read more

I really love Mediterranean food, so I could not wait Luna Grill to open. My husband and was as excited. We were lucky enough to be invited to the preview the restaurant last night. From the greeter, the counter people to the manager, were very inviting and helpful. The atmosphere is very nice, but could use a re-arrangement of the tables, better use if the space. But let's get down to the reason we went--the FOOD! It was great. Remember my husband,the one that did not like Mediterranean, well he loved he LOVED it!! I had the chicken Janos and he had beef kabobs and humus for an appetizer. It was all very juicy and tender. We will definitely be back to enjoy some of the other items in the menu. My wife said she had found a good restaurant and wanted me to try it. COVID guidelines followed and hand sanitizer available at the counter. The food was very delicious. Good size portions. Our salad was a perfect assortment. My gyro sandwich in a pita bread was delicious. My French fries were awesome despite not being a huge fan of French fries. They were crispy, light golden brown, with a good taste. Large selection of choices to eat there. This has become one of our very few restaurants that we truly enjoy in DFW. We tend to eat at home because my wife is a GREAT cook and my mother happened to be a great cook also. For that reason, I am not easily satisfied with many restaurants. My review is 2part. First, I have eaten here once with my daughter and I had the flat chicken kabob plate. It was amazing and so fresh. The chicken was tender and the carrots, to die for. I loved the salad and that pita bread...I can't even. Superior, and I hope to have one closer to home soon, in Burleson,TX! I will keep fingers crossed. Secondly, my daughter is getting married and requested the mango lemonade from Luna. (It's out of this world, btw) So, I called corporate to see if they sold this nectar by the gallon and they sent me to catering headquarters, and then THEY said no, so I asked what kind it was and maybe I could find it online. They weren't sure and suggested I call the store. So, I called the Mansfield store where we had found this lemonade concoction, and how lucky was I to get the general manager to answer the phone??? HE was SO accomodating and generous with his time, did NOT dismiss me, and went completely out of his way to make sure I had the info I needed to find this for my daughter and her wedding. I don't think I've ever had such compassion from a total stranger. As if I wasn't sold on their food already, I am definitely a lifelong customer now. Ordered falafel salad and the gyro platter with a Greek salad via the online app. The optional pita bread was very small, as was the ziziki dressing (maybe a tablespoon?). I did not get any dressing for the falafel salad. A $12 salad should be better than that. I called to let them know, but was underwhelmed by the response. If I could give this place zero starts I would have. This location just opened in Mansfield and I though I would give them a try for lunch. Ordered a Greek salad and it was literally a bowl of lettuce. There were 3 cucumber slices and 2 olives. This was not worth $10! Also, there was no dressing on the salad or on the side. Awesome experience and great interaction with the staff. Don't think the acoustics and Iced Tea could offer a more inviting comfortable atmosphere. My Greek salad was as fresh as a if it were made by an Ancient Greek goddess herself. My meal today was over the top amazing loved every bite! I would highly recommend saving a little room for a cupcake.. WOW! I love both the vanilla and red velvet cupcakes! Best of all it is opened at the moment for "complimentary" meals so honestly I guess I would like to say we were very grateful they allowed a sneak peak before the Grand Opening ! Great fresh Mediterranean food finally in Mansfield! The hummus is stellar, the feta cheese dip it spicy and a nice change of pace for an appetizer. My go to dinner choice has to be the lamb kabobs though, grilled perfectly and tender. Added with the side of grilled veg and the Greek Salad, perfect meal. First time to order from the app. Paid extra for upgraded Greek salad which was placed under the grilled meat and veggies so lettuce was mushy (oddly, the slit on the to-go tray was empty. Wouldn't that have been a great place to put a cold salad?!) Rice was left off. . Wrong soup was given. Came a couple of minutes after pickup time given on the app, waited 10 more minutes in restaurant while they finished preparing. Food is good, but I will never order take out from this place again. We were in town from Austin and looking for a healthy dinner. This place was a great find! Clean and wonderful, friendly service. The food was excellent. I had the flat chicken skewer with hummus and grilled carrots. My husband had a ground beef kabob. The kids also enjoyed their meals. I hope we get a Luna Grill in Austin (north!) because we love this type of food. It is similar to Zoe's but the quality far exceeded what we get there. Enjoyed the friendly wait staff! Today, I ordered 5 chicken market wraps from Luna grill through uber eats delivery and the chicken in them were burned causing the sandwiches to taste bitter, that's about $50 down the drain and since the food was delivered via uber, it was not easy /feasible for me to get a replacement.
