Popped in with my wife for lunch. Staff was very friendly. We ordered a couple of the bowls with Gyro meat. The bowls came out and the meat was a little overdone. But Tessa and Stevee checked on us and really took care of us. Grabbed us some fresh portions of gyro meat. Ingredients tasted fresh and good flavors! Top notch customer service! Best Mediterranean food I've had. They cook it fresh so be prepared to be patient in getting your food, will likely be 15-20 mins but incredibly worth it. My niece and I went for dinner on 2/20/2026. As there were fewer people in the restaurant compared to the first time we tried to eat here, we were hoping for a better experience. They might have been short-staffed, as everyone had blinders on and couldn't acknowledge new customers who entered the premises. We waited to be helped, but no one took our order until I approached a staff member who was handing out a to-go order to another customer. She took our order, but there were no apologies for keeping us waiting for more than 10 minutes (the time on the receipt was 7:22 pm). After placing our order for one chicken kabob plate and one koobideh kabob plate, we waited approximately 30 minutes before finally receiving our order. Our total order was $45.76. We have frequented Luna Grill in Southern California and enjoy the food, but we've never had to wait this long for our order. I feel management is still working out kinks from their grand opening in November 2025. Until the reviews reflect better response time and better customer service, we will find other places to get Mediterranean food. read more

We tried the Classic Chicken Pitas for dinner last night. They were very good. Plenty of flavorful chicken, not dry. However, we did notice that the pepperoncinis were only a few small pieces sprinkled on the top half. They skimped on those for some reason. I also found it disappointing that a side of French fries is $3.59. We purchased two orders, spent $7 on fries and the containers they came in were not even halfway full. Very overpriced and very salty. Will skip those next time. I can see why many others have complained about the pricing to portion size ratio. Overall, I would return for the pitas as they were very tasty. read more

I've tried a few dishes and have enjoyed all of the food. The customer service is also satisfying, the employees are always friendly. I am giving 4 instead of 5 stars for two reasons: 1) it is overpriced. Every other Greek/Mediterranean restaurant that costs the same would provide almost twice the amount of food. 2) the wait is too long; I'm guessing they need to increase staffing, which may resolve the problem, but I always wait at least 20 minutes when there is no one or maybe one other person in the restaurant. It seems they prioritize to go orders, and people eating in the restaurant take a backseat. read more

First time here and everything top to bottom was absolutely top-notch. From the moment you walk in everything was spotless clean and amazing decor. Someone definitely took their time to make this place look very welcoming and friendly. Everyone that helped us was beyond helpful and nice and they even checked on us a few times while we were eating. The food was 10 out of 10. Good concept. Poor execution. Ordered Beef and Gyro plate. However they got my order wrong. I asked for Spicy Fries, and instead they gave me spicy hummus and normal fries. Additionally, the gyro meet had little to no flavor and was not warm. read more

I was so excited for Luna grill! Finally today I was able to come and treat myself for lunch. I placed an order for a Cali wrap. I told the cashier I was new n if he had any recommendations. He suggested Cali. I took that but I told him I have some dietary restrictions. I can't have dairy or cheese n I need it to be vegan. So he said I could sub the creamy harissa sauce with tahini. That's what I did. The place was jammed packed so I decided to sit outside, even though it was all wet. I asked the staff to please clean the table which she did very well. I sat down and started teaching my online class there while waiting for my food I finished my 40 minute online class n still my order hadn't arrived. Finally after few minutes it came. And guess what! It had cheese also it had the creamy harissa sauce n not tahini. I went back inside to talk to someone n asked her to remake it and make it a to go order because now I didn't have time to dine. I had walked into here around 11:57am and when I left it was 12:47pm! I was supposed to meet someone at 1pm in my home. I'm from the area so I went straight home after getting my order which also took a while because I had told them to make a remake around 12:30pm n I didn't get it until 12:47pm. Anyways around 5pm I said to myself I should now have my lunch. But when I opened the wrap it was completely dry! No sauce ! No tahini! It didn't have cheese which was excellent but there was no sauce. I mean I just don't get it! When I wanted to dine, the wrap had the incorrect sauce plus they had given me extra dates on the side too, but when I asked to make a remake n make it for to go they omitted the sauce completely. Now my wrap is just sitting. Luckily I have tahini at home so I'm going to put some tahini in it have it for dinner now. I also wanted to mention that the cashier didn't give me a receipt for my order. I had to ask him for a receipt. So this was my experience at Luna grill. I was very excited but now put off completely. Horrible service, no place to sit! I don't think I'm coming back here again. They have Shateera, another Mediterranean restaurant near polytechnic ASU, I would rather go there than come here. Their food is delicious especially the curly fries n falafel. And their prices are so much better than Luna !! This place is way too pricy! read more
