This place was very good. I ate it and when I ate it, I felt so full. The customer service was great help I would like to point out Jennifer specifically on the expo line she was very quick and friendly. I appreciate her enthusiasm when she came over to check on our family twice and I kept asking for things she did not hesitate to run inside and bring extra sauces, extra napkins and To go boxes out to the patio for us. I came to Luna grill after reviving a promotional mailing them since they're new to the area, and boy am I glad I did! This is my new favorite local Mediterranean spot! The restaurant certainly looks clean and brand new, staff were very friendly at the front counter, and the menu offers quite a selection. I had the Santorini Bowl, which was refreshing and delicious. The only downside here was the wait time. While it was very busy (I'm guessing due to the dinner rush plus the promotional mailing that went out), I saw a couple of people waiting 20+ minutes for their food which, in my opinion, is too lengthy for a fast casual type of dining. Thank you Luna Grill for bringing amazing and healthy Mediterranean food to Gilbert! We've been in dire need for a great spot and now we have one! I dined here a few days after their Grand Opening...and then returned recently with the family. It's hard to keep a good thing all to myself! The staff is very friendly and gave me a quick briefing on the menu and what's in a few of the sauces I was unfamiliar with (where has schug been my whole life?!? Amazing sauce). The interior uses a great blue and sand color scheme and the lights and bathroom wall mural are simple but stylish. They have exterior seating as well which was empty my first visit (lunchtime on a hotter day) and full on my last visit (sundown and high 70s). My first time I ordered a chicken kabob plate with harissa hummus, rice and a side of garlic feta. The chicken is beautifully marinated and very tender. The rice was soft and good but not any bold flavor. The harissa hummus was excellent. My second visit I tried the Santorini Bowl: pearled couscous, hummus, pickled onion, schug sauce, olives, rice, kale and tzatziki. And of course I had to get the chicken again as my protein. The bowl was excellent! Everything in the bowl paired so well together! Every bite was different and scintillating. In the beverage department they have a Coke fountain and a few dispensers with tea, mango lime agua fresca and a strawberry hibiscus drink. I'm already looking forward to my next visit! read more

The salmon was well cooked, and both of our orders came out on time The outside patio area was great as well! Came here on opening day and was very pleased with both the food and service. I downloaded the rewards app and placed a pick up order. My chicken gyro and fries were ready to go when I arrived and staff were very friendly and welcoming. The restaurant intself is very pretty and spacious and I love that they have both indoor and outdoor seating. The chicken and salmon were delicious! Got the plate and added an extra kabob. I didn't really care for the Mediterranean salad. My daughter had the pita and looked amazing. Saul is seriously the best. My wife and I always appreciate him every time we come in. He goes out of his way to make the experience feel personal, and it really stands out. We actually remembered him from the San Diego location, so it was really cool running into him again here at the Mesa location. He's just a genuinely great guy with amazing customer service. She said what do you mean it's a Mediterranean place. She did not not explain how menu worked Stated that if I wanted custom order I needed to download app. Also stated that my food would be taking longer because they make it fresh. Said it would take about 18 minutes. Ended up taking 30 minutes. they also forgot to include my pita bread.
