First time trying Luna grill and I'll definitely be back to enjoy it again :) this bowl had so many different toppings served over white rice. The only thing was how tiny the chicken serving was, they only give you 3 small pieces. Next time I'll surly order a plate for a larger serving size, but besides that the food was really good! read more

Everytime we order delivery there is always something not quite right. The cookies are hilarious for the price $2.25 each, definitely not worth it, about the size of a quarter. It looks and tastes like oatmeal, I ordered carrot cake. They sent us the spicy tzatzi sauce when we ordered the regular. The food always arrives cold. read more

I usually love LunaGrill! It is a restaurant, that you can usually count on for repeat, good food and quality. However, picked up dinner there last night and both proteins; chicken and salmon were dry. That wasn't the norm previously but it's been a while since we ate there. Not planning on going back anytime soon. Super disappointing, not sure if the quality control is going downhill, and especially for the price, as it's not cheap. read more

Always really good service. The staff is always really friendly and helpful. The owner/manager always goes above and beyond even for to go orders. Things like offering a cup of water while you wait, or remembering you by name. Food is always tasty and fresh. Service has been very prompt as well. This is always a clean and well maintained business with a nice patio area out in front with ample parking. Just all in all solid and consistent local business. read more

We go eat often here. The chicken is tender and the veggie skewer is very tasty. When we started coming here the food was the best part. Few manager came and went at this point. Our kids were messy and sometimes cried and that was not well received, but we kept coming for the delish food. Now there is mew management and they go out of their way to make us feel welcome. We lost a kids essentials bag and we did not know where we lost it until we came to eat and the manager recognized us and give it to as; that was awesome. The ambiance is great, though we felt sometimes it was very cold inside, closer to fall that is. In the heat of the summer is a welcomed thing. No outdoor seating which is a con. But love thier service .best service in all luna grill locations . They also told me they had kids eat free promotion without even asking which is a great gesture. Luna Grill is a pretty good chain restaurant in the area! They are very popular for Mediterranean food for good reason. All the locations I've been to seem to be pretty consistent, and the food tastes fresh and they use pretty decent quality ingredients. Their menu isn't too crazy, they have your more basic Mediterranean staples which I feel is good so that they can concentrate on perfecting those items, instead of some places that have huge menus with a bit of everything which then seems to make each item mediocre. It is also a really good place for vegetarians, which is common with Mediterranean restaurants, but this place also includes a Beyond Burger which is one of the best vegetarian substitutes for a beef patty out there. I see that some of the other reviews mention issues with the staff and orders being wrong, but so far I haven't experienced this, staff has always been friendly to my groups and all of our orders have been correct. There was a new girl at the register my last visit, but she was sweet and the other staff was very encouraging and helpful to her, so they seem like a pretty good bunch. This Poway location is part of a shopping plaza with a large parking lot and I've never had trouble finding parking. Definitely a good choice for fresh healthy-ish food in the area! read more

Always, always a fan of their Mediterranean Salad with chopped chicken and extra feta cheese! But first things first... This location is always bright and clean with friendly service and consistently fresh and tasty food. My good to is that salad...always. I love the mix of couscous, cucumber, onion and mint over a bed of lettuce and their house vinaigrette. I will usually add on extra feta to mine. It is so light and refreshing and my favorite item on the menu. My hubby opts for the Chicken and Sirloin Kabob as his meal of choice. Both items never disappoint. The Feta Chips are always a crowd pleaser if you want something other than fries. The Cornish hen though is also a winner...super juicy and full of flavor. They offer plenty of inside and outside seating for large groups: lovely red décor and the coolest little ceiling lights hover above you. It tends to get pretty busy during lunch so plan accordingly. Best Luna Grill I have been too. Poway Luna hooks it up. The ones in Orange County cut you short. They short you on the feta garlic sauce or harissa hummus or even the pita bread when you order two sides. Each one of these things have happened to me every time I went to a Luna Grill in Orange County. Not Poway's. I eat here twice a week. read more

Had a salmon bowl last night that was very good, filling, and reasonably priced! Service was excellent.

This Luna was great when we first started visiting more frequently. Chicken was cooked perfectly, moist and flavorful. However, they have become much more inconsistent with take out orders and now serve very charred, dry chicken about every other visit (at least 3 times recently). It's not very pleasant to open your take out and then have to pick through and/or peel away what's burnt to find a few small pieces of chicken remaining that are somewhat edible. Hopefully they can turn this around and be more reliable with quality control before the food goes out. read more

This place is good and pretty timely. Delicious freshly made food such as grilled chicken or gyro meat. Rice and salads are tasty. My only complaints would be that 1) when I tried to do a substitution the manager indicated that wasn't allowed and it was company policy, and 2) I once heard the cook in a foul mood grumbling in the back and he rudely yelled at the customers in line that it was going to be at least 20 minutes for any grilled meats because they had just opened. I think he was just overwhelmed. Otherwise to go orders are always ready when promised, we usually get it at least once a week! read more
