The food is very inconsistent. Fires cold rest hot or vice versa. Never comes out all hot and freshly made. Tables are not wiped down frequently but plenty of staff standing around talking behind the counter. Today witnessed Michael behind the counter provide food and drinks to his friends who came in clearly not paying since it was very much clear that he told them to hide the bag. Seems like an inconvenience to keep the tables clean and drink area wiped down and stocked. Watched a customer refill the lids and straws because none of the employees had and at least 3 of them walked by while the customer was doing their job. Other Luna locations are not like this so I'm not sure why this Redlands one can't get it together. read more

So this location is so nicely tucked away in a little peaceful spot in Redlands. We sat out on the patio and it was actually very nice. The staff made sure to come around and check on us if we needed anything which was a nice touch to a self service restaurant. Will definitely dine there again. read more

I've been back a few times since my last visit and noticed there is signage on the doors and at the registers showing that they are cash-less. While it is an inconvenience, they have it marked clearly and I do really enjoy their service. The food is delicious and always fresh. Plenty of healthy options too. They did seem to change their pita recently and it's not quite as good, but still decent. The staff are always helpful and provide great service whether taking out or eating in. I had the classic chicken pita and french fries. It was so fresh and delicious. We also tried a salad, a salmon bowl, and other pitas. Luna Grill: where Mediterranean flavors meet the patience of a saint. My go-to is the chicken kabob plate with a lemonade. The chicken is so tender it probably meditates before hitting the grill, and the rice and veggies deserve a high five. The lemonade is sweet and tangy. Try not to go back for more while you wait. Try, it's the best you can do. Speaking of waiting... the lines can be a bit epic. It's like the food knows it's good and wants to build suspense. The outdoor seating area makes it bearable. They've got cornhole, which doubles as entertainment and a chance to show off your hand-eye coordination while you wait. There is plenty of indoor seating as well. Once your plate arrives, all is forgiven. Luna Grill might take its time, but trust me, it's a journey worth savoring. read more

The customer service was awesome during my recent visit! I'm bummed I don't remember the associates name but she was awesome and shared that I could save a few bucks if I signed up for the app. I ordered my usual, santorini bowl which is the perfect lunch time meal. I love this dish because it tastes fresh, all the ingredients mixed together compliment each other, and it leaves me feeling satisfied. During lunch hour on a weekday is pretty busy but we found space outside and our orders were ready pretty quickly. It's always a good experience here. read more

The other disappointing element to my meal was the cucumber yogurt (tzatziki) I don't like that the cucumber was cubed and it was watery. It lacked that cucumber flavor and it appeared to be prepared watered down intentionally. It was even lacking that tart yogurt taste because it was so thinned out. Overall, it was still a fairly good meal. I would suggest making or buying better pita bread. I would be willing to try it again because the meat was delicious and I'd get hummus instead of the cucumber yogurt.

After entering the glass doors, one is greeted with shelves filled with treats and pastries. My brother wanted to try the quiche, but they were sold out. He went with the almond croissant which is how he judges all French bakeries. The rest of us ordered the croque monsieur (Parisian ham, becamel sauce, melted gruyere swiss cheese on white bread), St. Tropez (prosciutto, brie cheese, mixed greens, onions, fig jam, olive oil, herbs de Provence, La Monaco (prosciutto, Swiss cheese, mixed greens, tomato, onion, herbs de Provence, and olive oil), French onion soup, tiramisu, mango pastry, and pear tart. My brother was greatly impressed with the almond croissant, honing in on the laminated dough and the frangipane--a rich, nutty, and smooth almond cream. This prompted him to talk with the owner and baker, and he shared that in baking, "you have to be a little bit crazy. I use French butter and extra ingredients!" All the pastries were expertly made and were indulgent. Both the hot and cold sandwiches highlighted the meats and cheeses striking a balance with the arugula greens. Even the kids enjoyed the greens. The French onion soup was the best we have ever tasted; a delightful bowl of rich onion beef broth, toasted baguette with melted gruyere cheese. Maison La Jolie is the mastermind of a husband-wife duo. They are a much welcome addition to Redlands.

I told him Albacore and he instantly makes me some concoction with ponzu sauce which was fire. He then asked me if I like salmon and I told him yes and he makes me a seared salmon roll with orange sauce and pepper. By this time I'm stuffed but enjoying this experience. He made going to a sushi restaurant interesting again like when I first tried sushi. We start talking about Japan and he ask me if I ever had salmon skin. I tell him absolutely not and that when I bake salmon I usually take the skin off. He then tells me that I HAVE to try a salmon skin handroll so I figured I should just go with it. My mind was blown!! I actually like salmon skin lol. It was so good! Overall, I had an amazing experience at Niko Niko and Chef Yaser. I left him a generous tip for the experience and he changed the way I will forever dine at a sushi bar now. Luna Grill may seem like a regular restaurant at first glance, but this place is truly a gem and a blessing upon the Redlands community. The quality of the food here is unparalleled, and the staff are incredibly kind and helpful (most notably Aria and Jackie, who have both become lifelong friends of mine). It deeply sorrows me that one day I will leave this Earth and transcend to a realm where Luna Grill may not exist to comfort me. Enjoy Luna Grill while you have the chance, folks. read more

Luna Grill is hands down one of the best spots for fresh and flavorful Mediterranean food! Every dish is packed with quality ingredients and amazing taste--from the juicy kabobs to the perfectly seasoned rice and delicious hummus, everything is spot-on. What truly made our experience outstanding was the exceptional customer service from Isaiah. The food is very fresh and taste amazing, It also is very clean so it doesn't make you feel sick or gross after eating unlike fast foods do. Speaking of fast food they have great service, there was a nice gentleman (Isaiah) who was very kind and gave me good suggestions. If I could give Luna Grill a higher rating, I would! Five stars are nowhere near enough for them. From how clean and friendly the staff is, Ariel, Yamileth, and Mona provided wonderful hospitality and guided me through the menu, while also serving delicious food that is well worth the money. The chicken was tender and moist, and the hummus had the perfect consistency. 10/10 would recommend to anyone. read more
