    Happy Hour!
    Raheem A.

After making the 30 minute drive from our home to K1 Racing, we realized that we were three hours early for a friend's birthday celebration. Instead of driving back home, we decided to make a date out of the extra time. A quick Yelp "around me" search led us to Luna Lounge. Ironically, it was happy hour at the establishment; hence the nice gathering of patrons in the outdoor seating area conversing over glasses of wine. Upon entering the establishment we were greeted by an employee (unfortunately I did not obtain his name) who ushered us to the outside seating area and provided menus. My wife and I were not hungry, so we both ordered the chardonnay that's on the happy hour menu. Less than five minutes later, the server returned with two generously poured glasses of chardonnay. As we slowly sipped our wine, we chatted and enjoyed the very pleasant Spring-like weather. Although the chardonnay wasn't as flavor forward as we're used to (I think we have grown to be wine snobs over the year), we appreciated the price and the pour size. Also, the serve did a splendid job of regularly checking in on us. Since I'm rarely in this area, I cannot say that we'll make a return visit anytime soon. However, I encourage you to check out Luna Lounge...their food looks delicious!

Wow I can't believe I haven't reviewed this place. I have been coming for years!!! It's definitely a local gem. For that reason the staff is friendly but not too inviting which could improve. Not that it matters all of us locals will still come. It's always a chill vibe. Always great food and drinks. Great for families, couples, or girl dinners.

The waitress was amazing - super friendly and did a great job checking in on us. I ordered a special and got the new york steak and eggs. The steak was very charred on the outside and did not have much flavor - also the portion was much smaller than I expected- so it was only okay. Eggs and potatoes were good. We sat outside and it was nice.

Great spot for a nice outdoor breakfast or lunch! Their outdoor patio is very welcoming. I've heard the indoor lounge and bar turns into a bar type scene during the night. I've been here twice. They have happy hour between 3-6 on the weekdays. I really enjoyed their steak salad and cheesy breadstick appetizer. The club sandwich is also a good lunch choice, they stack it full of turkey, bacon, lettuce, tomato, cheese and condiments. Their fries are seasoned and very crispy! I've also tried the steak thai noodle salad which was.. interesting. The steak was cooked perfect but the salad altogether was an interesting mix of flavors. Service is pretty good here. Sometimes can be slow.

This is my first classic martini (unlike lychee martinis I've had before at other places). My server asked how I like it, with olive juice or with lemon twist or another option I don't remember. To be honest I don't know how I like it because it's is my first classic martini. So I was honest with him. I said I'll do whatever you recommend because I wanted to try a classic martini cuz I've been watching Gossip Girl. I felt silly admitting I wanted a martini because of a tv show. But my server actually did his research and found that Blair (a main character in the show) likes her martini with a lemon twist. And that is the martini I got. He brought frozen glass and poured the drink on the spot. It was such a vibe and a great drink. For food I got the grilled prawns. This dish is delicious and goes so well with my martini! For my second drink I got the shiso fresh. I was debating between two drinks and asked my server for suggestions. He is absolutely right with this recommendation. Shiso fresh is refreshing and sweet but not too sweet. I loved it. Service is wonder and drinks are tasty. I can't wait to come back!

The interior is dark and light simultaneously, with its rich textiles and colors, high ceilings and the large south-facing window on the long exterior wall. Really nicely done and quite inviting. Travis mixed up what could very well have been the best Old Fashioned we've ever had. It's not my preferred cocktail, but if more were like this one, that may be another story. I opted for the Kumquat Kiss, which was delicious and different. Besides that Old Fashioned, the Hash Brown Lyonnaise really stole the show. Pillow-light hash brown sticks (how did they do that?!) with a scrumptious onion dip with crispy shallots and finely chopped chives. This is one of my top happy hour dishes of the year. Just wow! Try it yourself and tell me you don't agree. The Grilled Prawns missed the mark for me a bit, although the husband liked them. Tasty, but just not as much of a star as the other dish. Only suggestion is to have a happy hour menu for bites as well as beverages, as is found on the website. This would help avoid the need for staff to present a dinner menu (which admittedly, I was confused by) and acknowledge that the first course options are all available but at no happy hour discount (which felt a bit awkward for all involved). Overall, a delightful discovery!

Disco balls, sun catchers, plants, and artwork adorn the walls and ceiling. My friends and I came for a book club meeting (8 of us) and I am very happy I came early to snag a table. It combines a modern chic look with an abundance of plants, making for one of the more creative places I've been to. "Gorgeous" is the most fitting word to describe the overall experience. I took my date here for dinner and drinks. The Classic Burger held up relatively average but the fries had a standout savory taste to them. I would order the fries alone if I stop by again. As for drinks, I opted for the Strawberry Rosé Slushee; it's refreshing and the perfect choice for brunch or happy hour. It tastes modestly sweet so I would caution downing more than a couple of these at the risk of a hangover. The Purple Haze (mainly ube foam on blanco tequila) is unfortunately nothing short of a flop. To be fair, I'm negatively biased toward anything tequila in the first place, but this drink tastes like straight tequila. The ube foam doesn't contribute to the taste and awkwardly floats on the surface. TLDR: beautiful interior, good food, and decent drinks (depending on what you get).

The food was good, the drinks were great, and the whole atmosphere made for a really fun date night. We started with the Pu Pu Platter, which came with veggie spring rolls, crab rangoon, coconut shrimp, chicken pot stickers, and Huli Huli chicken wings. What I really liked is that you can mix and match the platter. You don't necessarily have to get one of everything, so if you really like the pot stickers, for example, you can double up on those and substitute something else. Everything we had was really good! I also loved the presentation. It came out on a spinning tray with a little warmer in the middle, which was such a cool touch and really added to the tiki-bar experience. Since I'm not a big drinker, I went with a couple of mocktails. Sadly, I don't remember the names or flavors , but I do remember they were AMAZING! Even the fresh pineapple on the rim was good. We also ordered the togarashi fries, and those were really good too! Just watch out for those jalapeños because they had a little kick to them! The dipping sauce that came with the fries was really good as well. My only setback was the lighting. I know a tiki bar is supposed to have a dark atmosphere, but it was so dark that we had a hard time reading the menu and had to use the flashlights on our phones. We definitely weren't the only people doing it either. One last thing I have to mention, the bathroom was REALLY clean! I always appreciate that. Overall, I had a great experience. My girl did a great job picking this spot for the surprise, and we would definitely come back!
