Large Chicken Noodle Soup for $9

Large Chicken Noodle Soup for $9 as takeout... three slices of fresh bread included. Soup is okay but the menu should say how many ounces instead of the size. I expect a quart instead of a pint for a large soup.

been coming here with the fam since middle school! It's not only a good pizza joint but on the weekdays they have these discounted pasta dishes, and it never misses (comes with salad & a soda). Got the calamari (not pictured) but it was so good & crispy! Also had the penne vodka which was a lil sweet & creamy (also really good). super lowkey spot by park row & is pretty much the only Italian spot in Chinatown and it doesn't disappoint.

The pizza was good. Service was quick. I was able to get drink in reasonable time. The regular cheese pizza and vegetable pizza can be take out.

Walking in here, I was not expecting much, based on the appearance of the food, and the prices. Instead, I was wrong. Not way wrong, but wrong enough to change how I feel about Luna Pizza. I will rank each slice I had from worst to best, as you save the best for last. Lasagna: Clever in name, but in concept, not so much. The globbed on cheese does not work here, unlike Sal and Carmine's, or Louie and Ernie's, no creamy texture, it feels and tastes pasted on. The ground beef is delicious, but the heavy cheese, I wish was not there. As a result, this slice gets killed by its own sword by being the very thing it should not be, an overly rich and cheesy slice. For those with sensitive stomachs, you might want to pass on this one. Grandma Vodka: I was expecting a dry slab with sauce, and it certainly was not. The sauce runs deep and it is rich (sensing a theme here), and the crust is the perfect crisp to chew ratio. Eat this slow if you want to really enjoy it, otherwise it will come back later. Cheese slice: Unconventional in appearance, the "racing stripe" is not meant for New York style slices, but it works. Again with the rich cheese. This was a cheesy slice that threatens to undermine the whole experience. It is salvaged by a beautiful red tomato sauce that makes it pleasant to eat, balancing out the sharpness that this cheese brings out. Something tells me the cheese here is homemade, which if true, I applaud. -- At the end of the day, I have to say that this surprised me in more ways than one. Is it worth the $4/$4.50 a slice? Definitely not. However, the originality, the nice staff, the product, all bring out something to go to Chatham Square (Chinatown) and try, but be ready for a brisk walk on the Brooklyn or Manhattan Bridge when you are done.

Beautiful day to visit the city. No better pizza than at Luna. We were able to sit outside because it was so nice. If you go at the right time, you can see an episode of Blue Bloods or other NYC themed tv shows being filmed. They offer delivery and pickup options. Inside was is updated with beautiful decor. Same great food and amazing staff. Say hello to the New York Pizza Queen when you are here. Five stars every time!

My family and I stopped here for some pizza after a long day of walking thru the city. The pizza was so good, my out of state boyfriend said it confirmed that NY has the best pizza around. One of the servers was working diligently to ensure the restaurant was cleaned and sanitized. Awesome place to eat!

I think I am the only person that I know of that looks forward to coming to Chinatown for pizza. Luna Pizza is a pizzeria/ restaurant and has always been my go to when I am looking for something quick to eat. Their cheese pizza is really thin, crunchy with just the right amount of cheese topped with a little bit of tomato sauce with a very appealing appearance. I really love coming here because their pizza is always exactly what I expect it to be. I have eaten a lot of pizza in my time and I really would rank this place one of my top 5 best places in the city.

Even if we wouldn't have gotten a window table and it wasn't Christmas, the vibes and interior of this place would have still been great. We went in December night of 2024 so some aspects of the menu have changed however, most of the dishes still appear to be on their menu as of now, June 2026. It appears most changes comes to the type of pasta used in a dish, aspects around a dishes main focus and gelato/dessert flavors. Everything we ordered was an 8 or above out of 10. The beet salad (BARBABIETOLE) is easily 10/10 and a top 3 salad we have ever had. The chocolate cake with gelato (TORTINO DI CIOCCOLATO) was 10/10 and the best dessert we had at Da Andrea. We ordered 3 total, including the ricotta cheesecake and tiramisu. Tuna Tartare, gorgonzola pasta and bolognese are 9's. The fritto misto, the other pasta we ordered and the other 2 desserts are 8's. If you're in New York make reservations and go. My Wife found this place and made reservations. Only thing I regret after looking at additional photos is not ordering the grilled pork chop.

The restaurant was relatively spacious for Manhattan, with dim lighting and a beautiful floral exterior. They also had a great-looking antique bar. For drinks, I ordered the watermelon mocktail, but really was not a fan. I ended up swapping with my partner and drinking his non-alc beer instead. For starters, we shared the Insalata Di Caesar. This was a pretty mediocre Caesar salad, but got the job done. For entrees, most of us ordered pasta dishes but none of them were stellar. My Ravioli Di Crostacei was pretty bland and my partner's Spaghetti Bolognese just tasted like the pasta you could make at home. Service was friendly and they managed our large table well, but overall, I wasn't thrilled with Da Andrea.

Baba Al Rum was also tasty, as was the Orecchiette. Rigatoni was salty, but well-flavored. I visited a popular Italian restaurant from the Union Square Hospitality group with a group of five others. The restaurant is quite large, and although it was somewhat noisy, the tables were spaced apart enough that it was easy to hear everyone. We had an early dinner at 5:45 PM, which took quite a while, but I didn't mind. To drink, I went with the Bitter Giuseppe for $19, with Cynar 45.3, Punt e Mes, lemon, and sea salt. I'm a fan of most Negronis, and this was a particularly bitter version. The bit of lemon and sea salt added a unique but enjoyable flavor at the end, though in retrospect, the salt probably wasn't super necessary. Two of us split, and eventually, a few of us ordered their signature appetizer, the $18 Cast Iron Focaccia, with tomato conserva, a mixture of crushed tomatoes, olive oil, and Calabrian chili. The bread was fresh and warm, albeit a tad oily and salty, but it paired wonderfully with the conserva. As someone who doesn't like it when bread is extra, this was delicious and worth it. Another person ordered the $18 Insalata Verde. It was very large, but fairly basic, with a vinaigrette that had a citrusy and mustardy flavor. There was also the Caramelized Onion Torta for $27, which was very large, as expected for the price point. It had a creamy and tangy flavor from the Pecorino Toscano with some sweetness from the onion. It was delicious, but very heavy, and I would recommend that around three or four people split it alongside the focaccia. Finally, there was also the $15 Pizza Bianca, which was easily the smallest of all the plates, but they still enjoyed it. My main dish was the Orecchiette for $26, with ramps, pistachio, and pecorino. Like most of their dishes, the portion size was quite large, with plenty of pasta, which was perfectly cooked. The ramps added a touch of sweetness, although I would have liked a few more nuts. Additionally, there was almost too much pecorino, which made the dish slightly salty, but it was still enjoyable. As a side, I got the $19 Grilled Asparagus with dates, vermouth, and blue cheese, which came with many pieces of lightly charred asparagus. While there was plenty of funky blue cheese, I would have preferred more dates. Two of the others got the Rigatoni Alla Gricia for $30. The portion was large, and I tried a bit while they tried mine. The noodles were again cooked perfectly, and while there was a lot of guanciale, this was easily the saltiest of all the dishes. For dessert, I chose their Baba AU Rum for $18, which was uniquely mixed with chocolate and orange. The presentation was a bit off, as it looked like a certain emoji, but the flavor made up for it. The subtle hint of rum paired with the bitter-sweet chocolate and orange. The dark chocolate-covered orange slice on top was a nice touch as well. Someone else got a tart, and one other person got the Gelati, which resulted in one of the only faults during service. She heard it was two scoops, and ordered espresso stracciatella and hazelnut, but was given two separate orders for $12 each. The gelato was good, but unlike most things, definitely not worth it for the price. I liked the appetizers much more, but I found the food good overall. Tasty dessert, and the portions make up at least a bit for the relatively higher prices.

Overall, we highly recommend L'Artusi for a special night out!

L'Artusi has been on my radar for a while, ever since I heard it was a hot spot and saw reviews of…read moreit being one of the best Italian restaurants in NYC. Being Italian American, I'm hypercritical of spots like these - but nevertheless the positive reviews were overwhelming so I wanted to check it out for myself. One of my friends and I were looking to catch up, so I booked a table and off we went. While it can be tricky to get a reservation during prime dinner time, it's relatively easy to get a lunch reservation - or an early/late dinner. I managed to get a reservation for dinner at 9:15pm which was the earliest I could find. The restaurant is pretty unassuming on the outside - it looks like a converted brownstone and once inside we were greeted by a large space with a sceney vibe. The space is split between two levels with a large bar up front and a semi-open kitchen in the back. The decor was modern - with lots of greys and neutral tones which was a little unexpected. The main star of the menu is pasta, but they also have a few non-pasta mains as well as some crudo selections, apps, and sides. We decided to get a few apps, two pastas, and one side. To start, we went with the octopus, roasted mushrooms, burrata crostone, and focaccia. These were all really good, but my favorite was the mushrooms. I'm usually not a fan of mushrooms but these were prepared with red pepper and fried egg and were delicious; it cut through the earthiness and changed the texture to something I really enjoyed. The focaccia was also a standout - it's house made and was paired with a peppery oil that complemented the bread well. For mains we split two pastas - the caccio e pepe and the rigatoni. Both of these were very good, though I felt the rigatoni was the stronger dish. It was prepared with sausage ragu, soppressata, broccoli rabe pesto, and pecorino. The flavors worked really well together and the pasta was cooked al dente. The caccio e pepe was perfectly fine, I just feel it's been overplayed and didn't feel there was anything that stood out amongst the others I've tried. We also got a broccoli rabe as a side which was great. We couldn't leave without dessert and decided to get their olive oil cake and quattro formaggio cheesecake. The restaurant is known for the former - it was perfectly fine but I've had olive oil cakes elsewhere of the same or better quality. The cheesecake was the stronger dessert IMO - the combination of cheeses gave it an interesting, almost savory flavor. The brûlée top and mascerated strawberries were great texture and flavor complements. Service was great - the place was packed but service was consistently on point and everyone was friendly. Overall, I had a good experience at L'Artusi. While everything was very good, I'm struggling to find the exact reason why this place became such a hot spot compared to other Italian spots in the city. Nevertheless, you'll have a good meal here and I would definitely return if given the opportunity.

The first thing I noticed was there were 7 people in my party and 4 arrived early and did not have to wait for my arrival to be seated. Second the waiter who took our order was polite and on point with specials and knowledge of the menu. He (just never caught his name) suggested the Rigatoni which chicken and sausage.
