Justino's Pizzeria is located in the Financial District. It's a small restaurant next to 77 Burger. There are a few tables inside the Pizzeria. I stopped by Justino's Pizzeria on a Tuesday evening, around 6:30 to pick up some pizza slices! Justino's Pizzeria offers NY style pizza slices and Grandma's style pizza. Some of the NY slices were cheese, pizza with ricotta, garlic, and basil, pepperoni, chicken bacon, mushrooms, and so much more! I had to get the last slice of the ricotta pizza and I also wanted to try the grandma style cheese pizza! The team member warmed up both slices and put it in a to go box for me to bring back to my hotel room. When I got back to the hotel room, I decided to try out the Grandma Style Cheese pizza. Unfortunately, it was still slightly cold even though it was warmed up, especially towards the middle of the pizza slice. The sauce was very sweet. I only had a few bites of the pizza. The ricotta slice was just okay. Some of the bites I had of the NY style pizza was really hard to bite into. It was very chewy. The price was inexpensive for both slices and a soda, less than $13.00. Service was quick. Both slices of pizza were warmed up in 5 minutes! Overall, it was just okay. I'm glad I got to try out Justino's Pizzeria once though! read more

I've recently returned to carb-load before a big run. I got a slice of their chipotle chicken bacon slice, which used to be my favorite, along with a pasta and their vodka sauce shrimp sandwich. The chipotle chicken bacon slice, unfortunately, wasn't as delicious as it used to be. Chicken was way overcooked to the point of being tough to chew, and the chipotle sauce is different too. The pasta we ordered had sausage and broccoli Rabe- the broccoli Rabe was particularly bitter, but the pasta and sausage itself was still good. On to the vodka sauce shrimp sandwich.... OMG. It was incredible. The sauce was so good, and shrimp was battered and fried perfectly. Absolutely will be my go-to now. read more

Some pizza spots nail just one or two kinds of slices, but Justino's delivers across the board. The crust? Perfectly crisp, no matter what you order. We tried the vodka slices and the buffalo (both excellent) and the manager even threw an extra slice in the oven for us on the house. Definitely worth stopping by if you're nearby! read more

I stopped by and ordered a Margherita slice after fasting for 6 hours for a medical test at Mount Sinai West - one block away. So I was starving! Honestly, this was the single worst slice of pizza I have ever had. The crust was thick & crumbly; The sauce was stale tasting with a bizarre aftertaste; the cheese was basically OK, but wasn't fresh tasting. The whole slice fell apart and was a mess. I came here from not eating all day, so I don't know if that affected my review lol, but I had a grandma slice and a chicken and tomato slice. Both were really good and there was a ton of chicken on the slice which was surprising because most places are skimpy. The sauce on the grandma was a little sweet for me. Overall flavor and crust was good, it's not the best pizza I've had but if you need some place quick it's good! It's not the most comfortable place to sit inside, so more of a to-go place. read more

If you're looking for classic large floppy New York pizza, Justino's gets the job done. They are open until 4AM, making it the perfect stop on the way home from the bars, which is exactly what I did. The slice was large and I was satisfyingly filled after eating. The environment is that of a small rundown establishment, characteristic of most long running pizza joints. I ordered a buffalo chicken pizza and there was nothing particularly amazing about it. It was a standard slice, pretty solid crust on it. I would have liked the chicken to be spicier as it didn't really feel as such. It's a small joint so it definitely is better on the grab and go side but there are a few tables inside. YUM! Popped into Justino's Pizzeria yesterday for a few slices and it exceeded my expectations. The spinach artichoke slice is delicious! Also tried some of my friends slices as well - we all agreed that even their plain cheese slice was exceptionally good. Only downside is that there are only a few tables and it's an overall small spot. Expect to be crowded by other people eating there. Still, I'd come back if I was in the area. read more

THE BEST PASTA Fettuccine Alfredo is flavourful, it has the perfect texture of sauce that clings onto the pasta. The chicken parm is amazing. They give you two breasts in one order! Literally a steal of a deal. I got it with the ziti here. I have also had the baked bolognese pasta in the past which is amazing too and topped with the cheesiest melted mozzarella. Definitely recommend. This place! It's the best pasta for the best price in Manhattan for sure. And the portions are so generous it has you covered for dinner and lunch the next day! read more

I have been frequenting this place for over 6 months now and I can comfortably say this is the best slice of pizza I have had in downtown so far. Their creamy artichoke pizza is by far my favorite and it really melts in your mouth. The white with spinach is a close second and not far behind that would be their eggplant and ricotta. Slices are modestly priced (about $4-5 for a slice with a few toppings), but keep in mind these slices are HUGE. Normal people could get away with eating 1 slice and feel full, but I have no shame and typically get 2. 100% recommend to locals and tourists alike. You won't be disappointed! read more

Justino's is a solid Manhattan pizza place. So far I have tried the buffalo chicken slice, margarita slice and spinach and artichoke slice and all have been really tasty. They crisp the crust really nicely and the dough really has such a gold flavor. The size of the slices are generous as well. I also have tried a wrap with grilled chicken, sautéed spinach and mozzarella cheese. I thought it would be bland but it was not! It has a lot of garlic and oil flavor. The wrap was a bit small but was less then $7. Inside Justino's is very small so if you go during lunch time/their busy times it gets very cramped. I recommend getting it for take out. Had lunch at Justino's Pizzeria on Thursday afternoon. Was not a big fan of the pizza I tried or the pizza shop space. Quality: The pizza at Justino's Pizzeria did not work for me. The slices are strangely shaped, much wider than a usual cut. They are thick slices and the crust on the edge was extremely well done. The Lasagna Slice looked intriguing, but the meat just overpowered every bite. The Plain Slice was better, but I was not a big fan of the sauce used. Quantity: Larger than average pizza slices. Value: $2.50 for a Plain Slice. $4.50 for the Lasagna Slice. Ambiance: Justino's Pizzeria is a cramped shop in the FiDi of Manhattan. With cold weather outside, they did not have any tables set up, so seating was limited to two inside tables. Even with a small crowd it felt cramped and it was also very dark. They had a tiny television in the corner, which was very loud, I assume for the employees can hear it behind the counter. Crowd: Just a few other people all grabbing slices to-go.
