From the service to the food, this is a wonderful little restaurant. My husband and I shared an order of Chilaquiles Red. Everything was cooked perfectly. The eggs were just right, the chorizo was just enough spice for me, and for the first time, the tortilla chips were crisp, not soggy. The serving was huge and I'm glad we split the serving. I walked in shortly after opening and the smell was already amazing! The place is clean and nicely laid out. Ordered simple breakfast of eggs, bacon, hash browns, and English muffins. This place came highly recommended by a good friend. So I was trying to think of a good place to have breakfast for lunch and this spot came to mind. I figured if I could find a parking space anywhere near there I would go. I got a spot just across the little side street. Perfect. I am a connoisseur of Chicken Fried Steaks. I have tried them up and down the coast. So that's what I ordered with Hash Browns, Scrambled Eggs and an English Muffin. Iced Tea to drink. It was very good Iced Tea. The steak was a very nice thin lightly breaded steak with some sausage gravy that had a nice strong taste of sausage. The hash browns were perfectly cooked and the eggs fluffy and hot. Everything was great. The salsa they brought was very fresh and had a nice kick. I put it on my eggs. It reminded me of the salsa that Joe's Cafe serves with their bread. They were very busy with the lunch crowd even though this was Sunday. The waitress came back after I ordered to let me know it might be a long wait because there were orders before mine. I thought this was quite courteous of her. I joked that I wanted to see the manager and we had a laugh. Very friendly staff all the way around. Each of the 3 wait staff individuals stopped by my table to ask if everything was OK or if I needed more Iced Tea. They were all very nice. All in all a very nice experience. Luna's cafe is absolutely delicious and if you're looking for a little Mexican flare for your breakfast cravings look no further! We've been four times already since they've opened and have left each time wanting more. Actually, I take that back, the generous portion sizes left me so stuffed I couldn't have more if I tried but you get the point. I have tried so far on the menu the Kayla Scramble, chile relleno scramble, rojo chilaquiles, and the chile verde with pork huevos rancheros. My wife has gotten the either the rojo or verde chilaquiles each time. We crave this every weekend and look forward to our many more visits! read more

Eggs Florentine, they evidently don't have a toaster because the English Muffin was buttered and placed on the grill to toast. In fact the tomato slices and the spinach were also placed on the grill. The Hollandaise Sauce was mediocre and very thick. The coffee was of poor commercial quality. Service was fantastic as they constantly checked on the customers, although I saw a server wipe an empty plate with his hand before placing a side salad on then handing over to the cook. read more

We had a delightful table outside and really enjoyed our experience. The food is legit, service is excellent and the sense of community here is amazing. The interior has a cozy atmosphere. Our food took a little bit to come out but considering the restaurant was full on a Sunday morning, it wasn't too bad. We loved Judge For Yourself Cafe but towards the end it was getting a little long in the tooth. The new owner was one of the waiters who was a long time employee. What a great update.
