    Oat milk latte

What many may not know is that Lupo Verde Osteria has a tiny, adorable coffee shop tucked right under its main building. The setting is incredibly quaint and rustic, making you feel like you've just set foot in a tiny town in Italy. I ordered my usual oat milk latte, which was made to perfection by the always attentive and kind wait staff. Only 4 stars because it can be hard to find a table, and the bathroom is a bit far away, but all in all, this cute little cafe is one I'm happy to frequent!

We went there after my nephew's baptism and the food was pretty good and the service was really good as well.

Tried this place for the first time and loved it! Service was prompt and great and the bread service was warm and delicious. The place is very warm and cozy and we loved the ambience. I ordered the halibut and my hubby had the mushroom pizza...we were both very pleased! The halibut was lightly seasoned and yet so tasty and cooked perfectly. The pizza had just the right amount of truffle oil and a slight sweet taste. The pizza was pretty expensive for the size ($24) so that was the only negative. We will definitely be going back again soon!

Ok... let me start by saying, we had no intention of coming here. We actually ended up here to pass time due to an issue with our reservation at Kappo DC just next door. We decided to come in for dessert and coffee & I can tell you, we were not disappointed. The Bomboloni was perfectly crisp on the outside with the perfect ratio of filling and the drizzle of Nutella added the perfect balance. The Pistachio Gelato was rich and creamy, yet not too heavy with just the right amount of pistachios. Oh and the cappuccino was also one of the best I've had in a long time. I added absolutely nothing to it and enjoyed it down to the last drop. Walking in, it is definitely an unassuming establishment with a family feel. We were greeted by Dylan and serviced by Uyoyou (pronounced YoYo) both were very attentive. I could see coming back with the family for a relaxing dinner. .

Any restaurant that makes me a specialty drink not on their menu gets 5 stars to me! I wanted to try their espresso martini, but realized it was at their sister restaurant. They went ahead and made it for me anyway, and I am not lying when I say it was the best I have had! Kudos to the bartender for that! The food was pretty good as well and came out promptly, and the vibe was just right for a romantic date. Another plus is they were playing the UGA and Ohio State game, and as a fellow UGA alum you get an extra star for having that on! This was a great spot to spend a relaxing New Years Eve with my boyfriend!

I came here for restaurant week but ended up ordering off the regular menu, and I have no regrets. It seems like quite a few tables around us had the same idea too! - Brussels sprouts: these were roasted to perfection! The balsamic glaze was so good, and I loved how the leaves were super crispy, but the body of the sprout was cooked thoroughly. - Lamb ragu: the flavor of lamb in this sauce was *chef's kiss* and the pasta was cooked perfectly. - Spaghetti Rosa: I was surprised and impressed that the sausage wasn't salty like at a lot of places! It was so flavorful and they gave a ton of meat. - G&T: this was unfortunately the biggest letdown of the night for me, as it didn't have the strong G&T flavor I was hoping for. - Tiramisu: this is a must!! The sweet and bitter flavors were perfectly balanced, and the cake itself was so moist (sorry if u hate this word lol). * special shout-out for the complimentary bread too! It was so crispy outside and fluffy inside, we ended up asking for a second plate LOL. Service was friendly and attentive but never felt rushed. Just a note that if you're seated upstairs, you'll have to walk up a set of steep winding stairs (not sure if there's an accessible alternative). I wish this wasn't on the other side of DC from me, but that def won't stop me from coming back!

Absolutely delicious Italian food, wonderfully intimate ambiance and friendly, patient service. This spot is perfect for a celebration for a small or large group because of its festive atmosphere throughout the year. We have dined here several times and are always blown away by the food. The pasta is fantastic. Fresh, and always cooked al dente. We have tried the cacio e Pepe, lasagna and chicken parm. All were cooked to perfection with tons of flavor. The portions are generous and filling! The wine selection is worth noting and I am a big fan of several of the options available. Note: my only note of caution-- be sure when you are making a reservation that you know which location you have reserved a table at. We have heard of several individuals who make a reservation at a different location of Lupo Verde and end up in a predicament because the other restaurant is across town!

Wonderful anniversary dinner at Lupo Verde Osteria, a cozy Italian restaurant in the Palisades. Waitstaff were very attentive, patient and friendly. Chef paid careful attention to food allergies and made substitutions when necessary. The slight hiccup, medium rare ny strip we ordered came well-done, was immediately rectified. Food was delicious and beautifully presented. The standout was the pizza, the crispness in the crust, tangy sweetness from the roasted mushrooms and truffle honey just made it so good! Desserts were all excellent. We had: Polipo- sautéed octopus with olive and tomato ragu served over bone marrow Carciofi alla Giudia - fried artichokes with parsley sauce Funghi pizze - pizza topped with roasted mushrooms, truffle ricotta, black truffle honey Tagliata di manzo - 14oz ny strip, fingerling potatoes with Demi-glaze vinaigrette Vitello alla parmigiana - veal chop parmigiana, tomato sauce, mozzarella, pasta pomodoro Tiramisu Chocolate soufflé Pistachio cannolis

What can I tell you, another wonderful meal. Be sure to order the burrata with fig and balsamic excellent! Lasagna was perfect actually too much had to take it home. More importantly, leave room for dessert

We went on a weekend and the line was literally out the door. Shout out to online ordering because we were able to grab a table and place our order online instead of waiting in that long line. From ordering to getting everything, it took about 20 minutes, maybe a little longer, which honestly wasn't bad considering how busy they were. The matcha was great, and I really enjoyed the avocado toast. I'm also glad we were able to grab a table because this place definitely fills up quickly. Seating is limited but a very nice outdoor patio (one side partly covered) with fans and plants. Staff is friendly and efficient.

They had seated us in the front window, but the sun was really shining so they were very accommodating, and helped to move our table into a shadier spot. We started with a round of cocktails and appetizers. My husband enjoyed the apricot Manhattan and I tried the Key West daiquiri. The lavender and pea cocktail was also very refreshing. The hummus platter featured four different hummus's. The harissa was our favorite. The Burratta salad and tart flambe was nice to share. We proceeded with ordering three bottles of wine and a few entrees. The petite fillet was delicious. The spring gnocchi was flavorful and the chicken Milanese was a nice portion. We were celebrating a birthday and they brought out a slice of Dulce de Leche cheesecake with a candle! Service was very nice. Clean bathrooms and short walk to Cleveland Park Metro.

A large wine list that they know back to front and can recommend wines from based on your food choices and personal tastes. An elegant but not ostentatious interior. But first and foremost, incredible food. There have been a few items I was unsure of when reading the descriptions, but I have always been blown away by the thoughtfulness and balance that comes with each or their dishes. Of note, their seared scallops that came with a savory and sweet white chocolate sauce were one of my favorite dishes of 2025. Not to mention, the prices here are reasonable and not unnecessarily inflated like other places that market themselves as wine bars. I hope the success here signals a shift in the wine bar model toward unpretentious but thoughtfully designed dishes for a reasonable price. Overall, Little Blackbird is an incredible restaurant that I think deserves more recognition. I will certainly be back soon.
