Food 5+ star. Sea food tower to start - incredible. Rib Eye / New York - delicious. Mac and Cheese / scalloped potatoes - insane. Our server was 5 star amazing and quick on a busy Mother's Day weekend. The manager saved the day after our host was less than satisfactory. THANK YOU. Beautiful restaurant. My wife and I used to go once or twice a month several years ago when it was in DC Ranch. This is a great upgrade. Awesome! Tons of food! Fairly priced for a great seafood / steakhouse.

We celebrated Mother's Day brunch at Eddie V's. It was a $55 prix fixe brunch. We would definitely celebrate at Eddie V's again. Our sever, Ryan, exceeded our expectations. He was friendly, knew the menu, and made sure that all of our needs were met. We started with the warm apple cinnamon scones - very tasty. We were told they only bake them twice per year, Easter and Mother's Day. Ryan also brought bread service for the table. The Lobster Bisque with cream and cognac was rich and contained chunks of lobster. We also tried the smoked salmon on a toasted baguette with herb cream cheese. So yummy! Our main entree was an 8 oz filet mignon with a mushroom and white cheddar frittata, the side was an arugula salad with a creole vinaigrette. The portions were generous and tasty. We ordered the brunch Bellini ($12) - this was underwhelming. I would not order the Bellini again. We also ordered the Golden Hour ($17) - it was ok. My son said he would not order a second one. He did really enjoy his Guinness. We were surprised at the end of the meal with a celebration dessert. A bananas foster butter cake, butter pecan ice cream, and a chocolate mint cookie. All three were delicious. A nice ending touch, they gave all the moms a rose to take home.

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! My filet was cooked perfectly and accompanied by the crab stuffed shrimp. I even asked for some bernaise sauce and they were able to accommodate my request in a timely manner. The service was fast and everything came out of the kitchen fresh and hot. I ended with the bananas foster butter cake. The table side flambé process was entertaining and the cake was a great end to the meal. I look forward to coming back when I'm in town!

Went to EV to celebrate our anniversary! It was a busy night on a Thursday. We were craving for yummy lobster tails. As usual, we ordered way too much food lol We loved loved the crab cake!! The breading was crispy but not too thick and there was so much crabmeat! Both ordered South African Twin Lobster Tails and lamb chops. Lobster tails were so sweet and big! Lamb chops were cooked perfectly. Our server and the server assistant were both very attentive and nice! I want to try their HH next time.

Absolutely love Eddie V's! The dim lighting and lovely live Jazz performance set a perfect ambiance for a Friday night. Our waiter Josh was very professional and took great care of us. The food was exceptional. The fillet mignon, Chilean sea bass, lobster bisque, and crab fried rice were favorites by far. The sea bass had a perfect blend of soy broth that the spinach soaked up and the ginger did not overpower at all. I didn't think I would ever say this, but the crab fried rice was almost too buttery (emphasis on almost). The scallops were the slightest bit dry and seemed to rely heavily on the immense amount of butter they came in, but overall our meal was delicious. The wine selection was great and it paired very well with our meal.

Oysters Rockefeller and blue point oysters. Yum!

not living mainly in the US anymore leads to me absolutely loving a great happy hour at a bar with delicious food. This hit the spot SO good! Service was wonderful. Cocktails were delicious and the oysters, sliders and tartare were delightful. I'll probably be back on this trip. Highly recommend the ambiance and the bar seating was perfect for us.

The best experience of a lifetime! And I know you yelpers are tired of me saying this but this time I truly mean it! This place is top notch. We looked at all the other YELP reviews for the other steak places in the SCOTTSdale Kierland / Commons area and hands-down this was rated the highest and it is not by mistake! You will not be disappointed. The atmosphere is beautiful, calming, elegant, the service is superb outstanding amazing! Perfectly cooked Bone-In Ribeye perfection and the best thing in the whole wide world would be their Wagyu beef dumplings!!!! My GOODNESS -Don't miss it! And the piece de la resistance-- who is the stones is the bananas fosters butter cake!!!!!! TWELVE STARS!!! a wonderful added touch was our amazing server DINA!!!! Professionalism and amazing!! And the manager came over to greet us. A perfect evening. I stand corrected, the bananas, foster butter cake is out of this world! The husband and I truly have been missing out. This is an amazing dining experience.

We had a fabulous night as Taylor took care of us. I ordered the special which was 24 ounce filet mignon served with a shrimp scampi on top and a side of asparagus absolutely delicious. My husband ordered the big fillet. We ordered the Caesar salad with brown anchovies, it's not the typical Caesar salad, wasn't very fond of it. We also had berries and cream that was to die for I love their live music. The band was phenomenal last night.. I WOULD RECOMMEND

Crab fried rice. Not nearly as flavorful as in the past.

Been coming to this location since they opened, and prior to that to the location at DC Ranch. Have noticed a trend the last couple times. Food seems to be underseasoned. Are they doing this purposefully because of an older crowd? Fried rice, which in the past has been a knockout dish was bland. The crab stuffed shrimp were tiny relative to the price and the crab mix was semi-flavorless. The sushi, which is a temporary special was a major disappointment. Back in the day they had an amazing little sushi bar. This sushi was just bland, no way else to describe it. The wasabi which is served alongside is not a real wasabi it is somewhat of a paste. Again, are they dumbing down the flavors purposely? Is this Darden's influence? Hope they turn things around quickly. The place was relatively empty at 8 o'clock on a Thursday night. Even the live entertainment, which usually plays jazz, or blues, or swing classics like Sinatra and Dean Martin, felt off. They were playing classic rock like stairway to Heaven! Did not fit the scene at all.

Wow!! We waited way too long to try this place but I'm so glad we did during restaurant week. They have a special prix-fixe menu starting at 55/pp running until 9/28. It was also happy hour at the time. Good thing we came hungry because we ordered so much food! Our waitress was very helpful and we appreciated all of her suggestions! Everything was perfect!! I took a bite of the bread with their amazing butter and it was at that moment when I knew we were in for a feast! 10/10 food & service!!

I was hanging out all day Sunday afternoon with one of my girlfriends! We were enjoying a day of day, drinking bouncing around from bar to bar restaurant to restaurant in Scottsdale. The last place on our Scottsdale restaurant tour was Eddie V's. We both got the lobster bisque, which was very good! However, I did not like the sour cream. Next time I will remember to tell them to leave that off. I had one oyster and it was delicious. I don't really eat raw oysters, but I was in a mood just for one and it was delicious! There is an entrée there that consists of two lobster tails. We decided to split this entrée because we had been eating all day long! The lobster was cooked perfectly. It just melted it in your mouth with the drawn butter. We sat at the bar in our server/bartender was phenomenal. They also had a nice live band that we enjoyed. I just can't say enough good things about Eddie V's! I've been here several times and I've never been disappointed.

We LOVED our experience especially how prompt they are with service, refills, clearing, providing more bread, presenting next entree etc...... However, the only reason they are getting 4 star (not 5) is we had reservations and they were 15 min late seating us. If the point is for us to be on time or lose our spot, shouldn't such a highend establishment be on time! Back to the 411 on food, I hit the steak medium and ommmmmgeeee, it was so perfect and I can't speak enough about the seasoning. Phenomenal. The steaks are from Snake River Meats & they are 10/10. Mine also came with mash potatoes but I stuck to the meat! Yum.... The hubs got the same and cleared his plate like nothing had been on it! The ladies got the double breasted chicken with onion & mushroom marmalade and truffle mash. They had so much food on their plate, they had left overs for a full lunch the next day. I tried it the next day and it was still delicious. Again, our server- TOP NOTCH!

Ask the Community - Eddie V's Prime Seafood

I have same question, is this Eddie's House?

No.. Eddie's House was on Indian School, which was sold in 2017. This is Eddie V's , which is a high end chain specializing in steak and seafood.

Do you need a reservation for the bar?

Definitely on weekends but also recommended during week. Very crowded place.

With live music, is there an area for dancing?

Yes, there were several people dancing. It is a small dance area

Is there live music or piano on the weekends?

Yes. Live music is on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday

How are they handling Social distancing and Covid cdc guidelines?

Like most restaurants Eddie V's does practice social distancing, provides hand sanitizer, servers wear masks and sanitize after each guest.

It is my first time going to Eddie V's tonight. What are the must order items?

My favorite is the lobster stuffed shrimp and the swordfish!!!! (As main menu items). They ran out of the swordfish the last time I was there!

Are there any gluten free options for happy hour or dinner? Due to increasing demands, many restaurants have gluten free menus. Hopefully, Eddie V's will have one in the future on their website.

Yes and am sure your server can request the chef to accommodate you.

It tries to be those things and fails in all. The layout: It's a long narrow room. The stage is on the smaller far end. The tables are arranged going back along the long direction. If you're sitting more than halfway back you'll be disappointed in the seating. In the back are high-top tables which are very small. The "bar" is along the long wall. The "restaurant" is catered food ( I don't think the venue has a kitchen). It's arranged buffet style on portable tables in the lobby. You go in a line and chose your dinner and they hand it to you in a plastic to-go container. You eat at your table and then bus your leftovers and trash to the trash can. There is no wait service. Just like eating at a fast food restaurant. If your sitting at a small high-top table there's not enough room for more than two people to eat. You'll be seated with strangers and they'll be right in your face as you eat. The "bar" only has beer and wine for alcohol. Or you could get a canned mixed drink. Stand in line and wait your turn at the end of the bar. The bar seats are reserved for the show. Remember no wait service. So if you want a drink during the show you have to go to the bar. Music was not Jazz. Very slow, boring folk. The crowd was 70+ year olds. And they charge for this experience? Won't be going back.

The name really fits because there are several different seating areas, including cozy groupings with soft couches and chairs, traditional dining tables, bar seating and an outdoor patio. There is also a separate larger room that looked great for groups. It's nice enough for a fun night out or date night, but the overall feel is relaxed and casual, so you definitely don't need to dress up. We went for a girls' Happy Hour, specifically because the Wine Wall sounded like so much fun, but one of the things I really liked about The Living Room is that you absolutely don't have to be a wine drinker to enjoy it. They also have a reasonable, well rounded menu and signature drinks. Happy Hour is weekdays from 3-6 PM. The menu offers $2 off wines by the glass, draft beers, signature and well cocktails, as well as the bruschetta and flatbreads. So one person could come for wine and bruschetta, and someone else could enjoy a beer with flatbread, or have something from the regular menu. There are salads, soups, sandwiches, sushi rolls, food from the grillI, and starters. We first shared the Artichoke Spinach Dip. I feel like the dip is a portion for one, as you can see in my photo; it's in a small ramekin, but the chips are fantastic and sharable. I had the "fried rice with steak, chicken and shrimp topped with a fried egg." The "steak" was tiny little pieces, not slices, but the portion of fried rice was very generous and filling. It's a "Starter" that was a "meal" for me. I was pleasantly surprised by how reasonable the food prices are. Now for the Wine Wall, because this is such a fun part of the experience! You're given a Tasting Card that works somewhat like a debit card for the Wine Wall. You tap the card at the WineStation, choose the wine you want and then select a 1 oz, 3 oz or 6 oz pour. Each wine and pour size has its own price, and every selection is added to your Tasting Card. At the end, the accumulated amount is transferred to your restaurant check as one "Wine Wall" charge. Our server was wonderful about showing us how everything worked. He walked us over to the Wine Wall, explained the system and dispensed our first glasses for us. Later, when he asked if we wanted more, my friend ordered another 3 oz Silver Oak and he brought it right to our table, so we didn't even have to get up again. If the Wine Wall is one of the main reasons for your visit, there are couches and tables right by it. You might want to choose that area if you plan on trying 1 oz. tastes of several wines. We enjoyed two excellent Cabernets from the Wine Wall: Caymus and Silver Oak. I had a 3 oz Caymus, a 3 oz Silver Oak, and my friend had a 6 oz Caymus and 3 oz Silver Oak. Our total Wine Wall charge was $83. We're already looking forward to returning for what will feel like a different experience by having white wine and sushi outdoors on a cool evening. I could definitely see The Living Room becoming an easy choice for a casual Happy Hour or dinner with friends.
