From the moment we stepped inside and were seated, we were greeted by our favorite server, Anna. She's the epitome of the perfect server--always attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. Anna's attention to detail is impeccable. She knows exactly when to bring us warm bread with seasoned butter and expertly shakes the last drop of the infamous cosmopolitan cocktail. The crab cakes are simply incredible--so soft, so flavorful, and better than any crab cake I've ever had anywhere else! But the real magic happens when Anna places the banana foster right in front of us with the flaming liquor. It's a showstopper that leaves us in awe. Great steak house with a bar area on the left where a live jazz band was playing. We sat in a nice booth along the wall on the restaurant side, away from the loud music. The decor was really nice, and I liked that it wasn't very loud where we were. They have a good wine selection. The bread basket and water arrived immediately. The steaks and lobster were cooked perfectly, just the way we ordered. The wedge salad was delicious. For dessert, the Meyer lemon tart with berries and the chocolate cake with ice cream were both amazing. The service was wonderful. Upon arrival I was greeted by a wonderful valet gentleman. He was very friendly and helpful. He also was my end of night photographer lol. The restaurant is beautiful. I sat in the bar area at a high booth. There was live music being sung which was a nice touch. The water was also great and provided recommendations (although I always ask just to see what they like). I loved the crab cake. It was full of lump crab and very fresh. My steak was medium well and I went for a medium plus just to be safe but could have done medium. The medium plus was on the dry side for me. I wasn't a fan of the Brussels sprouts as they also were a tad over cooked and crispy. The au gratin wasn't what I was looking for either. The lobster though was very tasty. We celebrated Mother's Day brunch at Eddie V's. It was a $55 prix fixe brunch. We would definitely celebrate at Eddie V's again. Our sever, Ryan, exceeded our expectations. He was friendly, knew the menu, and made sure that all of our needs were met. We started with the warm apple cinnamon scones - very tasty. We were told they only bake them twice per year, Easter and Mother's Day. Ryan also brought bread service for the table. The Lobster Bisque with cream and cognac was rich and contained chunks of lobster. We also tried the smoked salmon on a toasted baguette with herb cream cheese. So yummy! Our main entree was an 8 oz filet mignon with a mushroom and white cheddar frittata, the side was an arugula salad with a creole vinaigrette. The portions were generous and tasty. We ordered the brunch Bellini ($12) - this was underwhelming. I would not order the Bellini again. We also ordered the Golden Hour ($17) - it was ok. My son said he would not order a second one. He did really enjoy his Guinness. We were surprised at the end of the meal with a celebration dessert. A bananas foster butter cake, butter pecan ice cream, and a chocolate mint cookie. I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! My filet was cooked perfectly and accompanied by the crab stuffed shrimp. I even asked for some bernaise sauce and they were able to accommodate my request in a timely manner. The service was fast and everything came out of the kitchen fresh and hot. I've been coming here countless times over the years and have generally had a very positive experience. The service was excellent, but unfortunately, both lobster rolls came out burnt and had to be sent back immediately. Our server acknowledged that they should never have been sent out by the kitchen in that condition. Mistakes happen, and I can understand that. What I cannot understand or accept, however, is why Eddie V's would allow a DOG that was clearly not a service dog inside the restaurant. For a fine-dining establishment, this is simply unacceptable. I would expect a restaurant of this caliber to have clear standards regarding animals in the dining room. If I encounter this again, it will unfortunately be my last visit. I hope management takes this seriously, because it is not consistent with the level of dining experience I've come to expect from Eddie V's. read more

Went to EV to celebrate our anniversary! It was a busy night on a Thursday. We were craving for yummy lobster tails. As usual, we ordered way too much food lol We loved loved the crab cake!! The breading was crispy but not too thick and there was so much crabmeat! Both ordered South African Twin Lobster Tails and lamb chops. Lobster tails were so sweet and big! Absolutely love Eddie V's! The dim lighting and lovely live Jazz performance set a perfect ambiance for a Friday night. Our waiter Josh was very professional and took great care of us. The food was exceptional. The fillet mignon, Chilean sea bass, lobster bisque, and crab fried rice were favorites by far. The sea bass had a perfect blend of soy broth that the spinach soaked up and the ginger did not overpower at all. I didn't think I would ever say this, but the crab fried rice was almost too buttery (emphasis on almost). The scallops were the slightest bit dry and seemed to rely heavily on the immense amount of butter they came in, but overall our meal was delicious. We came for HH after a class at the Apple Store. We sat at a high top in the bar right next to the piano - a nice private table. It was also our anniversary a few days before and they gave us some complementary prosecco at the start. We ordered the steak tataki and the server brought of the steak tartare instead. He gave it to us comped and we still got the tataki. Both were very tasty but the tataki needed more sauce versus previous times we had it. This place is amazing!!! We always go for our anniversary or birthday dinners. Service here is friendly and knowledgeable. Their sea bass entree is the most delicious plate I've ever eaten. The fish is so light and fluffy and the sauce that it comes with has such a light and sweet soy sauce taste. Presentation is really nice too. Can't go wrong with their dessert either! Had another wonderful evening last night at Eddie V's. My husband and I love this place - just wish they were in Gilbert (closer to our home). The Steven Powell Trio played last night. They did some Dean Martin tunes, some Frank Sinatra tunes - classic jazz songs. Love that Eddie V's has live jazz music every night in the VLounge. The service is always spot on as well as the food. My favorite is the Truffle Mac and Cheese. I eat it as my entree it is SOOOO GOOD! My husband had the Norwegian Salmon and it was cooked perfectly and delicious. Been coming to this location since they opened, and prior to that to the location at DC Ranch. Have noticed a trend the last couple times. Food seems to be underseasoned. Are they doing this purposefully because of an older crowd? Fried rice, which in the past has been a knockout dish was bland. The crab stuffed shrimp were tiny relative to the price and the crab mix was semi-flavorless. The sushi, which is a temporary special was a major disappointment. Back in the day they had an amazing little sushi bar. This sushi was just bland, no way else to describe it. The wasabi which is served alongside is not a real wasabi it is somewhat of a paste. Again, are they dumbing down the flavors purposely? Is this Darden's influence? Hope they turn things around quickly. The place was relatively empty at 8 o'clock on a Thursday night. Even the live entertainment, which usually plays jazz, or blues, or swing classics like Sinatra and Dean Martin, felt off. They were playing classic rock like stairway to Heaven! I was hanging out all day Sunday afternoon with one of my girlfriends! We were enjoying a day of day, drinking bouncing around from bar to bar restaurant to restaurant in Scottsdale. The last place on our Scottsdale restaurant tour was Eddie V's. We both got the lobster bisque, which was very good! However, I did not like the sour cream. Next time I will remember to tell them to leave that off. I had one oyster and it was delicious. I don't really eat raw oysters, but I was in a mood just for one and it was delicious! There is an entrée there that consists of two lobster tails. We decided to split this entrée because we had been eating all day long! The lobster was cooked perfectly. It just melted it in your mouth with the drawn butter. We sat at the bar in our server/bartender was phenomenal. They also had a nice live band that we enjoyed. However, the only reason they are getting 4 star (not 5) is we had reservations and they were 15 min late seating us. If the point is for us to be on time or lose our spot, shouldn't such a highend establishment be on time! Back to the 411 on food, I hit the steak medium and ommmmmgeeee, it was so perfect and I can't speak enough about the seasoning. Phenomenal. The steaks are from Snake River Meats & they are 10/10. Mine also came with mash potatoes but I stuck to the meat! Yum.... The hubs got the same and cleared his plate like nothing had been on it! Even though we reserved a table for two on their website via yelp, the front desk had no record of our reservation when we arrived. Fortunately, there was a table for us. We planned to share a salad to start, and then oysters and sliders after that. The oysters and sliders came out long before a salad, which we then canceled. The server was supposed to tell us that the oysters were served on a bed of salt, but did not, and we both ingested a huge mouthful of salt to our chagrin before we realized what was going on. Our waiter was very obliging, cancelling our salad under the circumstances. He also canceled the bill for our oysters because of the fiasco, offering us a free dessert. The food is consistently wonderful. Although a bit pricey, it's worth it. We typically enjoy the seafood tower. It's always been fresh. Although we have had dinner in the restaurant, we prefer to enjoy the bar area. I do have one negative comment though. The last time my family and I visited, we once again reserved seating in the bar area. Our reservation was for four people. We were seated at a high top table which would accommodate 3 people having cocktails and not 4 having dinner and cocktails. We ordered the seafood tower as usual; however, I felt like we had to hold our drinks on our lap. Our waitress was not to accommodating. We chose to spend our 21st anniversary here and I'm so happy we did! The manager Jordan went out of her way to check on us throughout our meal and make sure our drinks & food were memorable for the occasion. We sat in the lounge and they had a live music, a jazz band w/ piano player. The ambience gave New York City vibes which we enjoyed. The food was top-notch too. Our favorite was of course the crabcake. The Seabass was probably the best I've ever had in the valley. The drinks were tasty & strong. Overall, great steakhouse but with the live music it gets super loud to even have a sane conversation. The Lobster tacos and Crab cake appetizers were good. Bread was fresh and soft. The main dish however of Seabass fell short and so did the crab fried rice this time. The Rice was overflowing with a butter taste and the sea bass was rather bland and not well done as we requested. We always use Az dining week to try out new places and decided to do a steak. We've done all the other biggies in and around Scottsdale so we had to try it. Came early and glad we did as when we left at 7 it was jam packed and many patrons a waiting. Out party had everything on the menu and say for the value it was decent. Not knock your socks off for anything. The desserts were five stars. Had high hopes for the other things steak, appetizers and all the other solid four stars. What an amazing restaurant and staff! I went to this Eddi V's location on 11/14/2025. My family and I were wowed by Ashley Wallace's service and the food staff! I brought my family there to celebrate, and they went out of their way to make one of their desserts so special for me! Back in California, The Eddi V's New port Beach location there made an awesome Pineapple upside down cake that I loved! When I moved to AZ 2 years ago, every time I ate here (4 other times), the AZ location did not have sliced pineapples to replicate this dessert. Ashley worked with the kitchen staff and actually had a staff member go down the street to buy the pineapples and make me the dessert. Talk about going the extra mile! The dressing was one of the best I've had, perfect flower consistency and just enough blue cheese. The salad was complimented perfectly by the warm bread and perfectly warmed, seasoned butter. My date and I had the pleasure of a truly outstanding dinner last night, May 25, at Eddie V.'s in Scottsdale. To begin with the restaurant is absolutely beautiful and we were shown to a lovely booth by a window. It was just the right amount of distance from the live music (which I found to be a tad bit loud to be honest). The pleasure began when our server, Robert K., came by and helped us order from the Restaurant Week options. Their offerings are a great value and we found the food to be amazing. My Priest Ranch Cabernet was a delightful accompaniment to my 8 Oz Filet. The Salt and Pepper Shrimp appetizer is a real winner (not on the regular menu). My date and I both loved the decadent Bananas Foster desert which includes a flaming presentation. Overall we had a GREAT experience and are planning a return soon. read more
