I understand why the low reviews. we called made appointment for fill and gelx and new set. Over the phone they said $45 then i added $15 for design. However at checkout, they said my total was $85. Because i ask them to clean my cuticle and they decided to call that a full manicure. Thry didnt mention there was an extra cost for that. Went here for the first time and it's such a beautiful place. Walk-ins are welcome which is a plus came to get a full set. Receptionist told me it would be a 20 minute wait I'd say I waited about 30-40 minutes. Other then the wait customer service was very good the offer you water,coffee and juice they also have candy! If you are looking modern nail techs and fast service this a great place to go. All the techs are up to date on trends and have never turned down a design that I want so the expertise is there. The prices aren't terrible especially considering how fast they do nails in comparison to most at home techs. I just wish they were more transparent about pricing before they start your nails. Lastly, you can make an appointment but the last time I went I waited an hour past my appointment time. Upon walking in, the girl at the front desk was super sweet and let me know wait times and was just all around super nice. I walked into the waiting area and it is a beautiful space with complimentary coffee and drinks. That's always nice! I wanted a full set and pedicure for my wedding coming up and was told they can start my feet before my nails. So I was greeted by this nice lady and was taken to my seat to start my pedicure. Once I sat down, we went over the usual colors and things before she got started. Once she started, let's just say this lady had a lot of strength to be so tiny! Great for anything else BUT when you're getting your feet done lol. This woman went to town on my toes. She started with clipping my nails, the usual, but then when it came to cutting around my cuticle and cleaning that area, she was ROUGH. She kept tugging and pulling, scraping and scraping. I was actually tearing up because it hurt so bad. She would scrape the same area over and over again and aggressively dig into my toenails. At one point, I had to tell her to stop numerous times because it was so painful. Well, fast forward two days later and I had to go to Urgent Care because I ended up with an infection in 3 toes because of her. This was my first time visiting this nailshop. I arrived and informed the receptionlist this was my first time at their establishment and I saw them on instagram and I wanted to get birthday nails and pedi . I was never told the wait. After waiting 30+ minutes I asked the wait time and all the receptionist said was soon. After waiting an extremely long time I get my pedi start in which the person did not speak English so it was hard to communicate to her. The shop soon filled up and the receptionist allowed about 6 people to get their nails done. the young lady across from me was about to get her feet and nails done at the same time but I was offered that. after being there a lil over two hours I get done with my pedi and go to the receptionist and she said did u want to wait on somebody to do your nails . I informed her she just allowed about 5 people ahead of me and all she said was oh. my toes nails were not even polish good my big toes look horrible and this is the only day I had to get this done. Lastly it's extremely hot in there. save your money and go somewhere else they make it look good on Instagram, horrible customer service read more

Now I'm usually not the type to leave reviews but I was very irritated with the service here. While I was GRATEFUL to have been seated upon walking in, I arrived requiring a gel fill for mani pedi. The girl doing my Hands was very sharp, she wasn't personable at all and at times her tone was very rude. She looked at me dumb when I asked for cut down (is this not included??? ) and then when I was trying to pick between 2 very similar colors she was just so rude about it like I was wasting her time while she wasn't even done removing the old gel! I noticed many of the other women got massages after they got their nails done, yet she quickly shooed me off to sit on the side so she can sit there on her phone, she didn't offer no massage, no cuticle oil, not even a smile and thank you. And to mention the nails are quite rushed, they are sharp to where I can scratch myself, several of the nails have more polish unevenly closer to my cuticle and she didn't even wipe the excess polish on my skin. Just careless. SMH. And then the woman doing my feet had the nerve to hand me a book menu with their services, and I chose Express because I had already BEEN THERE AN HOUR FOR MY HANDS. This woman did not offer cut down and the callus removal was absolutely pointless! And to top it all off!!!!!!!! The polish on my big toe was so bulky it was horrendous, the polish wasn't evenly spread and no where near my cuticle, I had to point this out all for the polish to look bulky and I instructed her to remove and replace it. Suddenly there are 3 people staring at my feet like a freaking puzzle when just an hour ago my toes looked way cuter with 3 week old polish.!!!! So this guy calls himself fixing the polish and it basically added what felt like an additional 40 minutes, at this point I don't care I just wanna go!!!!! And thennnnn the icing on the cake? They charge you $2 to pay with card. is this the future of nail service? Hella disappointed. Man I'm so constantly disappointed with this place. I love going here for my pedicures because they do a good job but their manicures are not up to par. I was just here on Sunday I got a gel pedicure with regular manicure I left Sunday afternoon it's now Tuesday afternoon and almost every single one of my nails are chipping. I went back to see if I could get a re-polish and get gel instead and the receptionist said it would be $20 which is practically the cost of a manicure. There was no oh I'm sorry or we can do it at a discount or any type of customer service it was just a gel polish last longer than regular polish if you wash your hands more we can't guarantee anything. Even though I let her know that it's barely been 48 hours and every single one is chipping she didn't seem to care and was only willing to do the $20 for just a polish which is ridiculous. I have been a loyal customer to LUV NAILS. On 5/21/22 I visited to get a a full set and pedicure. I was their fist customer as I arrived at 9:15, and their opening time is at 9:30. I requested for my nail tech to be Brian as I have always loved his work. They took me in to get a pedicure and as I was getting a pedicure, Brian the nail tech I requested asked me if someone else would be fine to do my nails, per Brian the office was too busy and he had to help with the front desk. Mind you that there was already a receptionist and no one waiting in line to get service. I left with no nails after arriving there before opening time. This was very disappointing. It was obvious to me that they did not care for my service. They have lost several customers do to this incident. I will not be returning or take anyone to this location. read more

I've been coming to this nail shop for years (i started going to their first location in paramount) my nail tech moved to the new location bellflower (while my pedicurist is still at the paramount location. So I have to visit 2 different locations for service (that sucks but ,ok). This is the 2nd time that I've had a problem at the bellflower location both regarding waitimes ; i should have learned my lesson the first time. They lie about wait times because they don't want to lose any money. I called and asked how long the wait was for my nail tech and i was told to come in it's first come first serve basis today. I came in today 10 mins after speaking to the receptionist Wednesday 4/27/22 @ approximately 12noon and was told my tech was working on a customer and it would be approximately 40 mins ok cool I said I'll wait the approximate 40 mins. Well an hour went by, then 1.5 hours and now it's been 2 hours and 6 mins and I'm still waiting . (Once the tech is working on the client they should ask the nail tech how long the wait will be so customers will not be left waiting).When I spoke to the receptionist regarding the wait and the fact I was told it would be approximately 40 mins she was unapologetic and quite rude i didnt get her name but shes been working there for a while (she's the only one that talks loud ,dresses like she's going to the club and her shoes flop as she walks) She proceeded to say that the time quoted was an estimate. I told her 40 mins is a long way from 2 + hours. She went back and forth basically saying a bunch of things a customer that's been waiting 2 + hours doesn't want to hear. This will be my last visit at this nail shop and the only reason I'm waiting today is because I've already wait 2 + hours. I also will be letting my friends and family know to avoid this establishment at all costs. I hope the owner/manager reads this review and focus more on custom service. Each customer should be treated with dignity and respect and not seen as a dollar sign. read more

I'll start with... the aesthetics of this new location, Love It !! ;) I have been going to their other location for about 6years, so even with them being new to Bellflower they are definitely well experienced ! I got full set acrylic coffin shape and gel pedicure, this spa is a great place to sit and relax while getting pampered. I also recommend this spa for lash extensions, make an appt ahead of time they do get busy but its worth it. I got mine done with Ashley.
