My hair was extremely long and dry, I just found this place last minute on Yelp on a random day and walked right in. $35 haircut for long hair! Jennifer cut my hair, she was super fast and did an amazing job. My previous hair lady did not allow me to get layers she said due to having fine thin hair, but Jennifer did! I never leave reviews, but this experience was honestly terrible. I went to Jackie expecting results like the photos they advertise, but my nails looked nothing like them. The work was rushed, messy, and uneven from the start. She didn't properly clean my nails before applying gel--no alcohol wipe or hand rinse--so there was dust and fuzz trapped under the design. She even placed gel on a used buffing block, which felt really unsanitary. The final result was bumpy, with thick, overflowing product around my cuticles. When I spoke up, her attitude completely changed and she became rude and dismissive. She refused to fix them, wouldn't offer removal, and still charged me $50 for a set she claimed was worth $115. Overall, very disappointing. The quality of work and the way the situation was handled were both unacceptable, and the photos they use feel very misleading. read more

This place was recommended to us. My husband got a haircut and I got a pedicure . Honestly, I wanted to give this place a chance and everything started out well. Towards the middle of my service, I hear the owner (?) rush the barber who was cutting my husband's hair telling him to hurry up because there was somebody waiting. I found this very unprofessional as barbers cannot "rush" through a haircut that requires detail. It's not a simple fade and get out of the chair type of deal. In the end, my husband didn't like his cut. The barber didn't cut it how he wanted it. On top of that, my pedicure wasn't great either. I painted gel and the next day, the gel on my pinky toe came off. Sorry, I won't be back. I refuse to support a business who rushes through their patrons because of $$$. read more

Unfortunately, I had a really really awful experience here. Jenny attempted to do my hair but unfortunately she bleached burned it. My hair was blue instead of blonde at the end of the appointment. I informed her I wasn't happy and that my hair was blue and instead of attempting to fix it, she laughed and said it wasn't blue. Not only was the color wrong, she left the bleach on too long and my hair is now coming off in clumps. When I paid, she insisted I slide my card again, despite me showing her my bank account with the payment. The owner then arrived and apologized about the payment issue. Despite Jenny telling the owner i was complaining that I had blue hair, she didn't say a thing. This is the worst "salon" experience I have ever had. I've gotten a haircut before from two other ladies here and they were good. Gave them the same reference photos I always do and they did gave me a good cut. This time however, maybe because I came in an hour before closing, this is the first time in a while I'd say I got a bad haircut. I gave the same reference photos for what I wanted and while the male stylist who cut my hair was nice and did an "okay" job with the sides, I'm honestly unsure what happened with the front and top. He basically didn't touch any hair on the top of my head and only shaved down my side and front lengths. read more

Jenny gave me my dream hair and made me feel like I've been going to her for years. My hair has gone through a global bleach to silver blonde and box dyed black and she managed to achieve the exact color I imagined (blended dimensional mushroom brown) in one session. I still don't know how she did it! She also did great styling on my hair afterwards, a step that I really appreciate when artists don't skip. My hair before was patchy and uneven and she corrected it with a double tone and balayage with foil. She took her time on my fairly thick hair with small sections and the color blends in so beautifully and has so much depth in person, I've had people tell me the color looks like "doll hair." She managed to make my hair still look and feel healthy after my 5.5hour appointment with her. I was honestly worried it wouldn't come out as light as I wanted it to be because of my hair history but she exceeded my expectations beyond even my reference pictures. None of the saved pictures I took compare to the depth and tone she achieved with my hair. An appointment with her really feels like you're getting your hair done by your cool aunt, and she makes you feel so confident walking out of her chair. I felt amazing about my hair all day and she made my long appointment with her truly enjoyable and personal. Vickey is my wonderful hairstylist! Whether I'm in the mood to chop off all my locks into an A-line cut, just a trim, allover color, peekaboo highlights, Vickey can handle it with grace, patience and great care. This particular visit I came in at 10am for a balayage, cut and style. I had a much grown-out previous toned balayage, fringe and my natural thick hair was getting to be too much. First things first, the bleach/lightener foils, painted on starting high up near the backcombed roots. This is already quite a challenge since my natural haircolor is only 2-3 shades away from the darkest to start with. Process then mix the color to be deposited. I went with a purplish-red burgundy tone with my natural black base. It looked so bright upon application! For haircut, only took off an inch and a half (dead ends), layered the heck out of it with thinning shears, and added some textured China bangs (which I'll eventually sweep into side bangs). Fully dried. While I sat in the dryer, Vickey even was able to squeeze in a few male haircut customers in between. Final styling was a choice of flatiron straightening or loose curls. This girl went for the curls, even if just for that day. By the time I left it was almost 3pm -- I have a LOT of hair! Huge thanks to Vickey, I absolutely love the way it turned out! I usually wear it straight but she did show me how she did the curling technique with the curling iron so that's another option. This new redhead is ready for Fall! read more
