I needed my hair styled. I found this salon through Yelp. I called for a quote. Was told the price for hair styling is $40 & up. It depends on the style and length of the hair. For the quote to be accurate, they will need to look at the hair in person. Will not need to make an appointment for an estimate. I just wanted a very simple culrs and pinned up on one side. I went to the salon and Kimmy assisted me. She gave me a quote of $45 and recommended to get my hair washed which is additional $10. The day before my appointment, Kimmy texted me to remind me of the appointment but also wanted to know if it was ok to move my appointment from 10am to 10:30am. I wasn't able to move to a later time so I asked if 9am or 9:30 is ok. She said she can open up the shop early for me and get me in at 8am instead. The day of the appointment, Kimmy was very welcoming and friendly. Her English is very good. She first washed my hair, dryed and then styled. From start to end, it took about an hour. She was quick! She did a great job! Just didnt like the fact that the hairspary to hold my curls made my hair very hard lol. Facility was clean and bright. Plenty of parking in the plaza. read more

I called in for a same-day haircut and was thrilled that they could accommodate me within 30 minutes. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a very friendly stylist who made me feel welcome. I loved that she called me by my name throughout the haircut, such a nice personal touch! I showed her a picture of the style I wanted, and she delivered perfectly; my hair turned out exactly as I envisioned. Called yesterday, to see if i could get in for a quick trim.. Arrived at 9 am today, and had Yaya do my hair... Well I wasn't planning on redoing my color and highlights, but heck why not? The shop is small and the stylist work quickly. I'm always paranoid to try a new stylist, especially for color and highlights.. I am very happy how it came out! Updated review 2024 Took my kids for cuts today. Age 8 yrs 3 yrs and 18 months. Lee charged $20' for a boy cut and $35 for a girls cut. $35 to get bangs trimmed and a simple trim in the back for both my girls. It literally took 7 mins to cut my 18 month olds hair. A friend had referred me to Uniq Salon for a haircut since, my old hairstylist named Kim, had moved overseas. So glad to meet my new hairstylist also,namers Kimmy. I came in and explained to her how I wanted my hair to be cut. She did such a wonderful job cutting my broken damaged hair from me doing diy home bleaching and dying. She is very skilled in her field of work. Really know what her customers want, really takes her time making sure the haircut is done correctly. She is very friendly and very fun to talk to. I even had forgotten to show her pictures of how I wanted her to cut my hair. But she end up cutting my hair just the way I wanted. I called ahead and asked if I could walk in for a hair cut. Lady over the phone said yes and of course I was a bit nervous on Walk in hair cut salons because these places tend to do a crappy job but since she was referred to me by another person, I gave it a shot! I got my long hair cut short for under $40! Included layers and I LOVED IT. Didn't get the hair wash or styling that other salons charge $50 for but that was fine with me! Horrible Service, if I could post 0 stars I would. Was waiting for 30 minutes already on a walk in and two more guests came in late for their appointment who were given priority over me and I didn't mind that too much. I understand appointments get priority so I was okay with waiting, however 30 minutes later (waiting an hour in total at this point ) they finished those customers up and then two more came in who were then also given priority. So these people really expected me to wait over an hour and 30 minutes for a walk in when their customer appointments are even showing up late.
