Luxor is a complete ripoff, don't go there!!! My sister and I went and got our legs waxed and our nails done, The waxing took an hour; I know everyone moves at a different pace but this was ridiculous after realizing that this lady may not even be qualified to even be doing the services. Not only was she using the same stick over and over in the wax pot she was literally scraping the very bottom of it to finish my wax 3 different people kept popping in and out of the what was suppose to be a private room and at one point they all 3 were rotating to do my legs it was extremely uncomfortable and unprofessional to keep opening and closing the door with a salon full of people. Now moving on to my sister who had tiny thin hairs and only had half her legs waxed, they did a terrible job and missed several areas on her legs because they had no wax left but still went ahead with the service and charged her $50 bucks!!!!! Half leg and tiny bits of hair!!! So now it's my turn to pay my portion and they charged me $75 for French set of nail and $75 freaking dollars for my crappy a$$ wax job!!!! I got home and looked at my legs and there was hair left all over my legs noticeably. Never ever will I ever go back there for waxing service. It's to bad because I love how lihn did my nails but I won't let a company down right rip people off like that and then act stupid when they are confronted with terrible service. Haven't seen any recent reviews on here... and I always wait a week or two before reviewing nails to see how they hold up Let me just say, this is the BEST place ever. A little on the pricey side, but you get what you pay for. It's been about a week and there's no chipping, lifting, pain. I have nothing negative to say. And I haven't received this many compliments on any set of nails I've had before Sala (I apologize if that isn't spelt correctly) was very welcoming, personable, and perfected each and every nail while asking me every 5 minutes if I liked them... AMAZING. The nail art is spot on and absolutely stunning. 10/10 recommend. This is definitely my new go-to nail place. I'm excited to see how their pedicures are! I can't say enough good things about Luxor Nails. I've been coming here since they opened (almost 2 years) and every single time I've been beyond pleased. All the people who work there are so kind and personable, and they strive to make sure I get the exact nails I want. I always see the employees walking around cleaning and it's always spotless when I come in. They're very straight forward with pricing so you know ahead of time and you don't go to pay and get sticker shock. Other salons I've been to have always overcharged me or not even told me something costs extra which I find kinda rude. Luxor Nails (technicians like Sala, Lin, Wendy, really ALL of them) are friendly, engaging, and pay close attention to detail. My daughters and their friends also enjoy coming here. A Triple Crown!!! Nail tech, Joe, knocked it out of the park today with a Homerun. My nails, cuticles, and color are lovely. Joe was attentive, kind, and professional. Thank you, Joe. My pedicure was a Feat (no pun) of Strength since I have calluses as well as thick cuticles. My tech was thorough and suggested a lovely color for my toenails as we transition to Fall. Once again I am walking in air with pretty feet. Lastly, the overall face wax was the crowning glory of my experience today at Luxor. At 66, my face looks and feels younger. This salon is the BEST I've been to! I've had acrylic nails for over 30 years. I've been all over different salons from as far south as Salem area to Portland. The cleanliness is superb! No taking nail kits in and out....they provide new each visit! Relaxing atmosphere, color options are endless! The pricing is very good! I've been to this salon 3 times since they have opened and tried different technicians and services each time, ALL do a wonderful job and are very talented. So happy to have found this place! We made an appointment on Thursday for Saturday morning and we got there and they said they didn't haven an appointment but that they could make it work. We all got the deluxe pedicures and I have to say, not only was the pedicure amazing but the prices were also great. I also got a full set of acrylics with gel on top, the color was exactly what I asked for. I love that all the pricing is out in the open and they show you a little slip at the end for what you've been charged for. Overall, was very impressed and we will definitely be back! read more

I stumbled across Luxor nails one day because I was bored and decided to get a mani/pedi and it was the best decision I've made! This salon is clean, really professional and you can tell they care about their customers. I have been going to Wendy now for about 3 months or so, and she's amazing so friendly and very helpful when it comes to deciding colors! When you first walk in the front door you are greeted by a friendly receptionist who offers you a drink (mimosa is my fav!). I have had several nail technicians throughout my visits. Natalie is so thorough with her pedicures and the chairs give great massages! Lily did a fantastic dip manicure and went above and beyond to make sure I liked the chrome color I chose. I always get the gel manicure. I go every 2 weeks depending on how long I want the same color for. I've went as long as a month between visits with my gel manicure and never had any chips or breaks. They never rush you and are always very helpful. I never had any problems either. It is the best place in Gladstone for an amazing nail experience and reasonab prices. They can't be beat. Worst place ever ! Me and my best friend got an infection here and they blamed us. I wouldn't recommend and I wouldn't go there. They need to learn a lesson if not from me, from anyone else that has been and also got an infection reply on here. Luxor is amazing!! Cleanest nail salon I've been to. Everyone's all around friendly and welcoming! I was put with Destiny for my first appt for a full set and wow! I've never not been cut or burned from my tech and Destiny was perfect! She was gentle did everything I asked and more!! As a male, I hadn't really gone to any spas but I consider this one to be a very good first experience! Raechel was very nice and conversative! On the tv they had something you don't usually expect-a compilations of road rage, people saving animals, and near-death experiences. Odd, but surprisingly entertaining!
