I am surprised I had such a bad experience with such glowing reviews. The stylist who worked on my hair seemed to have an attitude from the first time meeting, and carried on through the appointment only to perk up when it came time for me to pay. It was a very unwelcoming/uncomfortable feeling the entire Appointment. The end result I guess got the job done but I still had to go home and fix. Maybe I came on a bad day, but I won't go back to find out. There are much more friendly places that can do the same thing. read more

I only allow her to do my hair because I know it's going to turn out exactly how I want it! She's fantastic when doing balayage/style/color. For me, it usually cost me $150 - $200. Prices are reasonable. My last appointment was 3 hours. It cost me $170 for a balayage (not including tip). It really depends on what they are working with. Always, go in an ask for pricing because they won't guarantee a price without actually seeing your hair if it's already treated or starting from scratch. The place is very simple and clean and their isn't any strong chemical scent that usually is found in smaller salons. The salon is smaller but, like they say... "good things come in small packages". For health reasons my stylist had to retire so I needed to find a new stylist that can cut curly hair. I was reassured multiple times about how great Brandi is however I am now in tears over what she did to my hair. I told her to follow the previous cut and she took off way more than the 1/2" I agreed to. She added layering and thinned out my thick hair. It will take 3-4 months before it grows back. I feel violated. Go the salon but stay away from her. read more

I've been coming here for several months now and not only do I love to return for the customer service, but the quality of the services are incredible and priced perfectly. I typically get partial highlights, a cut and eyebrow wax. I've been seen by 3 of the stylists so far and they all are very friendly, professional and skilled at what they do. I've never had a bad experience. It's a family owned shop and the owner is there everyday. You get a homey, comfortable feeling there which is why I continue to return. No fancy bells and whistles, but they cater to the basics and are great at what they do. I recommend this place 100% for your hair styling needs. read more

I've been to many different hair salons over the years, and this was by far the worst experience I've ever had. I went in to get the Keratin treatment done for my hair, which they claimed would get rid of the frizz, straighten it a bit and make it soft and manageable. The treatment only lasted only a few days....once I washed my hair it just went back to it's dull, frizzy state. It didn't even look like I had gotten anything done, much less a $200 treatment. I thought I'd give them a chance, so I called and told them about my situation. They told me to come in and they would take a look at my hair. I went in and they looked at it, but they just told me that the treatment is not guaranteed and it's just supposed to take the frizz out (but not straighten it). This is not what they had told me in the initial consultation. None of the above reasons is why I'm giving this place one star. Once they told me that the treatment is not guaranteed, I nicely asked if I could get a small refund for the inconvenience. They literally laughed in my face and were appalled that I could even ask such a thing. The mother and daughter (who own the salon) were both equally rude and had a very condescending tone, which I did not appreciate. Even if they had offered to refund $5-$10, I would have been satisfied and given a much better review. Treat your customers with respect....rudeness has no place in a professional business! read more

I've been here three times now and the first time was good, with Roni, the second time was amazing, with Sue and my third time, with the owners daughter... forget her name, was awful! Sue did an excellent job on my hair an was very personable, she does smell like smoke so a little bit of a minus. Roni is good, seems old school in her methods. But the daughter of the owner, the owner is Roni, wow she's a piece of work. Incredibly rude and rough with the head and hair. I'm done going here. The shampoo girl is SO nice! I've been looking for a salon that gives a good haircut at an affordable price. Hair Cuttery has butchered my hair one too many times and I am over paying $60+ for a trim at a salon. I'm so glad I found this place! The staff was welcoming, professional and friendly. I felt safe going during the pandemic, as they followed all the necessary safety protocols. I'm new in town and she was very personable, informative and did an amazing job! I have huge, frizzy, curly hair and it was very long. I am always hesitant to try new stylist for my type of hair! Reading these other reviews I must say I absolutely disagree. I LOVE the staff there, I believe they are very knowledgeable in what they do and if you explain to them what you would like they do an excellent job!! Roni is such a doll. The environment is very welcoming and clean so I love the feeling and good vibe while I'm there. 3 days after having my hair cut here I decided i would like my bangs a little shorter, so I went back in and Laura (the piece of work, laughing out loud at that) trimmed them up a for me free of charge and was absolutely charming for the time that I was there. She even spoke to other customers around us like she knew them well and they might have been regulars there so I assume she has a nice customer base, which says a lot. I've never been so satisfied with a hair salon than at LV's. I'm a freak about letting hair cutters cut my hair and use to leave places in tears because I didn't feel like they followed my directions as to what I wanted and my hair would look ridiculous. I have been coming to this salon since it opened. I have my hair cut once a month, and a perm or color every other month. It is rare to find a salon where they genuinely care about you, as well as your hair. Everyone on staff are approachable and unpretentious because they sincerely want to be of service to their clients. Roni, Laura, and the whole staff have earned my trust. The decor is beautiful, and the shop clean and bright. The whole staff is always friendly, upbeat, helpful, and professional. I like to watch Roni's daughter, Laura, who's chair is opposite of Roni's while I am having my hair done because she is up on all the latest techniques, always smiling, and enjoying her customers, and the clients who come out of her chair always look trendy and fabulous-both men and women. At Christmas time they have delicious cookies and everyday their coffee is delicious. I recommend this salon without any reservations because I know you will have the same consistent, caring, quality service I have had all these years. I've been going to Roni for years, and have never been disappointed. My hair is curly, but thin and she knows just how to cut it to get the most volume out of it and make me feel good about how it looks. She and her daughter both are knowledgeable about hair products and procedures that would also help, but are never pushy. The atmosphere is casual-elegant where you can show up in jeans for a quick style and trim or in your nice threads ready for a night out or prom after you get your up-do. The staff are friendly, and warm, and really want your experience to be the kind that makes your day. I have nothing but positive things to say about LV's Hair Studio. About 7 years ago I was looking for a new stylist. I had some questions about what I wanted to do with my hair. Laura spent about 20 min on the phone with me answered every one of my questions and did not make me feel as if I was bothering her by asking so many questions. Booked an appointment right then and there and have been going to her ever since. I trust her with my hair. That's hard for me to do since so many other stylist left a bad taste in my mouth. Laura is a color magician! I should know between me and my daughters (yes my two teens go to her as well), I think our hair has been just about every color in the salon. I went to this salon yesterday because it had decent reviews and I'm new to the area and didn't know where else to go, and this morning, after washing and drying my hair, I discovered that Brandi (I think that was her name?) completely messed up the layers on the right side of my head. And when I say completely, I mean I'm going to have to find a different salon to fix my hair today because the layers are extremely choppy and uneven. In addition, perhaps the salon should have a sign that says that non-whites are not welcome, because from the moment I stepped into the salon, I felt that all of the people there wanted me to leave (I'm Asian, but American born and raised, so it's not like I have an offensively foreign accent or anything) - she was in such a rush to cut my hair that she actually cut herself. In short, if you're not white, they won't know how to cut your hair, and they won't want to cut your hair, either. read more

I've had my hair cut at this studio by three stylists and highlighted once. I've left happy each time. The stylists were friendly and easy to talk to, which is a bonus when getting your hair cut with someone new. I have naturally curly hair which if blown dry and styled immediately after it's brushed out and cut, becomes frizzy and unmanageable. They immediately recognized this and suggested that I leave wet and dry naturally (which is what I do at home). Total cost $23 plus tip. How can you beat that? read more
