I have to say that while I've been going to this nail salon for a while I am overall disappointed in how they treat customers. There is a lot of side chatter and laughing even at the customers them selves. Yes, there is usually a wait even if you have a reservation. But the demeanor of the staff there is not some thing that I find to be nice at all. Yes it's fairly reasonably priced, but why go somewhere and spend money to be treated that way? It seems as though they think they are doing you a favor. Pay more, go somewhere else, it will be worth it. read more

Have been to this place 3 times and after tonight, I will not be going back. 1. Called ahead and made an appointment for 6.30. They didn't start on my nails until 7.30, and I wasn't out of there until 9. It became clear that they were running behind for everyone, but they weren't communicative or apologetic. 2. I picked out a gel color and the woman clearly had issues finding the corresponding bottle because the sample wasn't labeled. She tried to convince me that two separate nail polishes were the match, when clearly neither were. Ended up going with a different color altogether. 3. Generally unclean. Flies hang around in this salon which one could choose to ignore but clearly I am now feeling petty given numbers 1 and 2. They were also closing up and were throwing bags of trash into the air and across the salon which I didn't feel was professional. The staff were pleasant and the technicians did ask if the nails look ok. There's actually an area for water although no one told me to help myself. I had the french pedicure service. It's $27 which is misleading since they didn't update in their menu. The regular pedicure is $22 (increased by $1) I would not recommend Anna (older lady with white strands of hair). She does not know what square nails means and can't fix a thumb nail to match. She can't seem to make the same thinnest of the white line either. She tried and Fiona ended up helping. It was a full house and I notice no one does selected french service here. Also, they do gel nail which I will try next time since I saw a good outcome on a customer. They have daily promotion for doing both the regular mani and pedi for $30 and other promotions. They don't do the leg scrub for you with the service like others do. read more

I was looking for a spot in Williamsburg that isn't too expensive for a nice manicure. I was uncertain about coming here based on reviews but I'm glad I did. I went with a friend and we both got regular manicures and my friend got a 10 minute massage. Manicure costs $10.50 and 10 minute massage costs $10. Great prices. The place was pretty busy when we arrived but we waited around 15 minutes which was fine for me. Both of our technicians were nice and did a good job. Not the BEST manicure I've ever had but I'm still happy with it. But to be fair there were a few girls who came in and were told there was a 15-20 minute wait then after ten minutes started to complain saying they were in a rush (annoying) so my technician started to rush a little bit to try to get them in. If I could give this place zero I would! I asked for a fill when I walked in. As I'm sitting there I notice they are soaking my tips off. Mind you the guy who was doing my nails got up to smoke outside while this was happening. I asked the girl and she said yes we are. I said I asked for a fill. Then they all proceed to talk shit to each other once I asked them to stop. I got up and left. This place is also unsanitary. They double dip in the wax. Found my hidden gem (thank me later)! They assisted me immediately last Saturday morning and twenty minutes later every chair was full (just a heads up). I had JJ who was sweet, patient (I needed my powder gels off and that took forever), and meticulous. Their price for a gel is very reasonable (30.00) and I am happy to report that it has been a full week and not one crack or chip on any nail- which is a rarity for me. I dropped by on a whim with my two best gals while we were out exploring Williamsburg. The prices here are so reasonable especially compared to some of the prices I was looking at for salons in Manhattan. We got the mani/pedi + 10 minute massage package. They did a good job with the nails but there are mild blemishes where some of the polish came out lumpy or not fully extended to the edge of the nail. The pedicure didn't remove all the dead skin but my feet definitely look better than before. It was really busy here and they were quoting everyone a 10 minute wait but it was more realistically a 25-40 minute wait. read more

I love this nail salon! I've been here about six times already! They have a punch card that tracks your visits and always has a discount when you hit 10 visits. They accept credit cards for tips, but they prefer cash. I have never had an unfavorable manicure. Be warned they're very busy after 6pm. 60$ manicure sns and pedicure is my jam. read more

I can't emphasize how detail-oriented the work is that the ladies at this salon perform. The staff is kind and attentive, and the prices of the salon meet the level of quality you'd expect at a much more expensive place. The $30 price tag for a gel manicure includes the whole enchilada, and more. I've gone to places that charge much less, but your manicure won't last more than 3 weeks. The last time I had a mani/pedi here (and had to remove my old gel nails), I spent about 2 hours and 15 minutes and $35 without tip. If you're looking for a place that has standard prices but doesn't rush any of its patrons to leave, then this is the right spot for you. I'm lucky enough to live around the corner, so I am able to gauge when it's the most busy. Typically after 5PM on weekdays and in the early morning/afternoon on the weekend are the busiest times, with about a 15 minute wait. A nice perk is their loyalty card, which they can keep for you at their desk if needed. Once you visit 10 times, you get a free manicure, eyebrow wax, or a 10 minute massage! read more

I've gone to this nail salon two times, as I just moved a block away. The first time, the removal of cuticles was painful. I was bleeding at the salon and after. I thought, okay maybe my skin was too hard, etc. The nail polish piece was good enough. The second time was awful. My nails were cut way too short after I had grown them out and asked them to be kept long. The cuticle portion was painful. Several of my nails are uneven (with attempted square shape) and when I pointed it out, the nail technician said they were good. She smudged 3 of my nails and fixed them but leaving lumps. At this point I knew I was going home to remove it all anyway. I'm pretty low maintenance, love getting my nails done by local neighborhood salons, but unfortunately this was too poor of an experience to return. read more

These gals (and occasionally guys) are my neighborhood go-to. I really only go for the pedicure with foot massage service (sometimes I'll have them clean up the cuticles on my hands, but I have a weird thing where I prefer to paint my own fingernails, or go polish-free, but I digress). So here are my main two gripes: - They will pretty much always tell you it's a 5-10 minute wait (sometimes you'll get them to admit 15), when, you guessed it, it's waayyyy longer than a 5-10 minute wait. - It's luck of the draw with whom you get for the massages. I've had a girl zone out and barely make contact with my skin a few times. With all that said, they're an inexpensive, clean, no frills spot on my block, and the staff is sweet as pie. They always do a solid job on my pedi, and I even have a "punch card" so I get a 10 minute massage/mani freebie when I hit the magic number. Yay! read more

Everyone at the salon is very nice! I went in for a regular pedicure and dip manicure. It was a pleasant experience but they do not get a good rating from me as ALL the nails from the manicure peeled off from my nail within a week. Went in to get two redone and three days later the rest of the nails were completely detached. They do have excellent prices which is why I went there. I typically bounce around from nail salon to nail salon but this has become my go-to. I come in every 2-3 weeks for a mani/pedi and the ladies here are really great. They don't try to make too much chitchat or ask the typical, "so....do you have a boyfriend?" I usually get the sea salt pedicure treatment and gel nails so they last longer. The worst manicure experience I've had, not just in New York, but anywhere, ever. The salon was dirty, and my tech was extremely rough with my nails and cuticles. The gel manicure I got was so bad I had to have it redone immediately after by a separate tech. Inconvenient and not good for my nails. No complaints here! I stopped in on Sunday around 6pm for a shellac removal, manicure and reapply of shellac. The color selection is good, I only waited 10 minutes, the woman that did my nails was congenial and took her time to do a very nice job. It even included a really relaxing 3-4 minute neck/shoulder massage while I was going through the final cycle of shellac application. Decent, convenient place to get your nails done. I was in the area after brunch today (around 2pm) and popped by to get a much needed mani-pedi (what's a girl to do on a snowy day? Pretend like you're about to head to the beach and get a mani-pedi!). They were able to accommodate me right away (yay!) and had a sign that says $28 mani-pedi (it ended up being $30 somehow). Cleanliness: middle of the range, not terrible but they also don't go above and beyond to make sure everything is clean and sanitary, it seems. Service & value: good. They have a good variety of colors to choose from (essie & OPI only). Service was friendly, and the massage that accompanied my pedicure was good even though it was short. I like that they don't try to up-sell you on things like spa pedicure, etc. The lady did an OK job with my nails. Verdict: super convenient, budget-friendly and they accept credit cards! They spent about 10 seconds scrubbing away the dead skin on the balls and heels of my feet which was not enough to get the job done. The foot and hand massages were just as short. I gave this place a few chances but I've given up. The only services I've gotten here are SNS (dip powder) manicures and gel pedicures. First few gel pedicures were fine but the last time I went I had two nails chip within just a few days which shouldn't happen with gel. As for the SNS - the past 3 times I got this service done I had multiple nails crack within just a few days. This NEVER happened at my old salon. I came back to get them fixed and what do you know...cracked again within two days. Also within just two weeks they got to the point where your hair gets caught in it because it starts to fade away at the cuticle area. Again, this has never happened when I went to any other salon.
