From the exterior it doesnt look all that..im guessing its one of those "if you know, you know" type places. A friend of ours had taken us here about 13 years ago. It wasn't up until last week we remembered this place. Decided to see if they still tasted the same and yes, they certainly did!! Perfect cronch with the glaze. Its just drive through - the little menu kiosk signage they had was a bit torn. I asked if they had other flavors and if i could just do a variety box. It cost $34 for these donuts but the blueberry alone was worth it. They are made fresh and there may be a bit of a wait depending on the time/day you go. We went on a Thursday around 10pm and waited in the drive thru line for about 20 minutes. So good. Will definitely come back for more but probably just the blueberry donuts! Can't give a review to the taste because I haven't been able to try. I've tried twice now. First time was on a Thursday around 915 and the line was too long to even try. I tried again on a Tuesday at around the same time. There were 8 cars ahead of me. I waited for over 30 minutes and only 2 cars had moved. Well we were down in California for Disney and needed to stop and get some food when we saw a very long line. First off I love donuts so when you see long line you know it's probably good. I almost turned around to go back and order a dozen but I'm trying to be somewhat healthy so I resisted the urge. This is absolutely NOT your average blueberry donut. This thing is top tier. Oh M&M Donuts where do I begin. I've been coming here since high school for their mouthwatering blueberry donuts. Always a long line but totally worth the wait. Last night I took my boyfriend since he's never tried and I've always raved about their blueberry donuts to him. I also haven't been in years so another reason why I wanted to go. We went on a Friday night at 9 pm when they opened and there was already a long line. We waited a total of about 1.5 hours. I ordered half a dozen and we took them home. First bite was nostalgia and brought me back to them high school days haha. The donut was hot and crispy and just how I remembered them. If you have the time, the blueberry donuts are epic! They also have all kinds of other yummies. The hours are very strange for a donut shop, and the wait can be daunting at times. If you bring friends the time can fly & it's a great place for watching the Disneyland fireworks (if they're on that night). The line usually does move along at an okay pace. I stopped by this donut shop this morning because I really wanted get a m&m donut. I wanted to come to this place for a while to try it out but the opportunity was never there until today. I came at 6am so they were not busy at all. Cars were lined up by the time I arrived at around 9 PM, which is when they start serving the famous blueberry donuts. Be prepared to wait, as the line did take around 45 minutes to reach the drive thru window. However, after that first bite of the blueberry donuts you'll soon forget about how long you had to wait! Got us a dozen donuts. 3 of their famous blueberries and 9 owner choices. I'm not a fan of the cake style donuts but these were delicious . The blueberries were warm and the others wasn't. The only reason for a low rating is that the waiting line is long. We got there 2 minutes before opening and we were about 10th in line. I believe the only reason the line moves so slow is because there is no menu of sort that tell you what they got. So you're at the window trying to figure out what you want. I have tried the other types of donuts and they are not nearly as good as blueberry. To give you an idea of how busy it gets here, if you arrive at 8 PM, hoping you'll be first in line for their 9 PM opening, it's likely that there's going to be at least two cars already in front of you. Also, one dozen blueberry donuts used to cost $20 not more than two years ago. The price has creeped up--and one dozen donuts are now $35 as of the date of this review. I think the donuts are overpriced, tbh, especially when compared to Winchell's, Yum Yum, The Donuttery, and other donut shops--but, on second thought, maybe not, considering there is still a strong demand at these inflated prices. We drove an hour and a half with my family just to try this place because everyone talks about how good their blueberry donuts are. Their posted hours say they're open from 9 PM to 1 AM, so we got there at 11:40 PM, well within their open hours only to be told they were completely sold out of donuts. Honestly, what's the point of listing closing hours if you're going to run out of product more than an hour before closing? It doesn't make sense. Midnight Donut run with my favorite chauffeur (partner?)??? SAY LESS. What a great drive. It was filled with anticipation as my partner described the amazingness of the blueberry donuts to me with no detail except that it was good (thank you, it gave me no information, but you were excited, and so naturally, so was i). The late-night "ooo, we're doing something unhealthy" excitement filled the car. We did wait in the car for a bit ~20 min? But we were debating whether to get a croissant sandwich for almost the whole time, so the wait was a fun one (ALSO, my chauffeur is lucky that *I* am an entertaining individual, lol jk). Finally, at the window, we decided to get a ham, bacon, and cheese sandwich, which was declined immediately because they were out. Crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside, it is not too sweet. The glaze adds a slight sweetness that complements the blueberry taste. What a treasure. M & M Donuts is a super popular donut place in Anaheim. Sometimes after working late in the Anaheim office I'll drive by to see how long the line is, and if it's short enough I will wait for my donut. Despite their name, their specialty is blueberry donut which they serve in a pizza box (when you get a dozen). The donuts are made with attention to detail and may even be made to order based on how long an order takes to fill. Blueberry donut is dense but not too sweet and is very pretty and interestingly shaped (wider than an average donut but with a larger gap in the middle).
