To say my expectations were met would be a tremendous understatement. I recently had a pre purchase inspection done at M1 and it was incredibly thorough. They pointed out nearly every mechanical flaw with the car (they do not do a compression test which is understandable) One glaring issue found was a small tear in one of the hoses in the engine, which John flagged and warned me that a check engine light is eminent. After purchasing the car and driving for ~50 miles lo and behold, a check engine light did appear! I called the next day and explained the situation to Jhonathan. He was able to fit me in on short notice and fixed the issue within 10 min. I am an incredibly happy customer. I'm a bit of a DIY kinda guy but any and every service that I cannot do myself (which is most because I'm lazy or not skilled enough) will go straight here. My husband took my 2016 GLC 300 to M1 today because Fletcher Jones recommended immediate action for the Engine Mount and Excessive Play which would have cost us $3040.66. John inspected the car, started the engine and said due to the low mileage (57,417), the fact that the car is less than 10 years old and that the engine showed no sign of any shaking at all, that service wasn't needed. We've been taking our car to a Benz shop in Pleasanton but decided to look at the M1. I called and spoke to John, the owner, and scheduled an A1 service for our 2017 E300. I arrived at scheduled and John took care of our paperwork. His technician immediately had our car serviced and performed an A1 service. They had a small waiting area that can accommodate only a couple of people. I came in at 8:30 am on a weekday and I was the only one waiting for my car. John suggested that I should schedule between 8:30-10 since the shop gets busy after 10 am. The shop looks very clean and the technicians very professional. Since I brought my car for a regular service, they immediately performed on my car and was done in 1 1/2 hour. I'm very satisfied with their service and decided to have our cars be serviced by their shop I'm hoping to have a lasting business relationship. While checking my car John found a code for the battery being bad. The capacity of our starter battery is too low and these type of batteries don't last more than five or six years. John was very honest and recommended a B1 service for our car. John notified me on what the car additional service and it was our decision to accept it. We proceeded with a new service and was satisfied with the work done on our car. I'm glad that we found this shop and will bring our car to him in the future. read more

I have an older, high mileage ML that had some noise in the front suspension. This kind of issue is a challenge as there are a lot of reasons the suspension on a high mileage car could be making noise - worn bushings, loose components, etc. and the resolution can be quite expensive depending on what needs to be repaired/replaced. I expected that just diagnosing the problem would be expensive, as other mechanics mechanic had been unable to find the problem despite having the car for long periods of time to diagnose. John took a short test drive, found the issue immediately, and was able to resolve it quickly for a very reasonable price. Excellent work, I highly recommend M1. read more
