Our drink orders were taken right away but after the drink orders service was a little slow. The waitress explained they were short staffed. I take no stars off for this. Short staff is a common issue including my place of business. Our waitress was very friendly and really good with the children in our party. I really liked the variety on the menu. There were affordable options with some higher priced dinners. There was an option for everyone in our party. I had the stuffed haddock covered with a seafood stew. I'm a little bit of a snob when it comes to seafood stuffing so I was a little hesitant to try it but OH BOY am I glad I did. The stuffing and stew were amazing! No leftovers for me. The rest of our party had various options off the menu and all of us were please with our meals. I highly recommend The Old Salt. A nice ambience. Friendly service. Great food. We'll be back on our next Hampton Beach vacation.

The ambiance is clean, spacious and beautiful. The food-- I can't say enough! The burrata is delicious, tomato mix especially, and the shrimp tacos were the best I've ever had, hands down!!! The crowning achievement was the peaches and cream dessert, which again, was next level. Incredible little gem on Hampton beach, I'm sure to be back again and again!

We ordered chowder to start then crab dip and fish tacos. My friend asked How long have we been waiting for the chowder? and looked at the kitchen to see the chowder and dip dying under the heat lamp. At some point a server brought all four items at once, nothing was coursed. We had no share plates utensils napkins salt pepper no spoon in the crab dip. The crab dip obviously burnt on the edges and lumps of cream cheese. No crab no crab flavor. We had the dip removed from the bill. The chowder luke warm temperature. 2 drinks 2 chowder and 3 small breaded fish tacos 75$. Also over an hour for what should have been a quick lunch. Don't waste the effort to walk down to PB stay on the main boardwalk and get a proper lunch at SeaKetch!

Grassfields reminded me, in a nostalgic way, of a restaurant at which I worked in my college years…read more The decor, the ambiance, the wine list, the service, and the menu items, all contributed toward that. I suppose "rustic" would be a good term to describe the interior. The menu offers steaks at prices you'd have a difficult time finding elsewhere in the area, plus chicken, lamb, veal, and interesting specials. Our large group was seated over two tables, which worked well for us in terms of quality conversation among interested folks. Service was quick, friendly, and professional, and all our dinners came out at the same time. We ordered a few appetizers. They were good but a little inconsistent. The mozzarella sticks, homemade, were a little unconventional, with a panko-mozzarella crust. Better, in my opinion, were the buffalo chicken tenders. I mis-read the description of my Argentine Bowl, thinking it was more of a salad. It was steak tips, avocado, tomatoes, and black beans over rice, quite tasty. The person sitting next to me ordered a dinner special the lamb shank osso bucco. While the meat was delicious and tender, it could have had even more seasoning on it, and there was an unexpected amount of fat on the shank. Parking is a little awkward given the shape of the shopping center, and the location of the restaurant. It was nice to see signs designating spaces closest to the restaurant reserved for their customers. This restaurant was the go-to restaurant for the family hosting the dinner event. I can understand why, and I wholeheartedly agree.

They only serve breakfast and lunch, and they close early (2 pm weekdays). The staff, from the hostess to the servers, were all very friendly. Nice to see smiles again in a restaurant! I loved the maple margarita. Perfect balance of sweet and salty. The food came out hot and nicely plated. Do not miss the smashed potatoes, the veggie hash, and the freshly squeezed juices. All are delicious. My omelette was jam packed with all kinds of veggies. The only negative is that it is very loud inside and can be hard to hear your own conversation. If I lived close by, I would be a regular.

The Breakfast Daughter has become a tradition for my family whenever we have something special to…read morecelebrate. I've been here for both of my sisters' graduation brunches, and we always leave happy. It's become one of our favorite spots for a celebratory brunch. For drinks, I tried their new Vanilla Bean Matcha Latte with oat milk. It was a bit thicker than I expected--possibly because of the oat milk. I can definitely see some people loving that texture, but for me it was just okay. That said, it was still a good drink, and the hint of vanilla came through nicely without overpowering the matcha. For food, we ordered a variety of dishes for the table. 1. The chicken and waffles had so much flavor, and the poached eggs were cooked perfectly--not too runny, but still soft, gooey, and delicious. The chicken was a little soggy, but it made up for it by being incredibly tender. 2. The blueberry pancake was fantastic. Their pancake portions are huge, so this time we only ordered one to share. It was delicious, though definitely on the heavier side. 3. The house burger was easily the standout dish of the meal and might be my favorite item on the menu. It's simple and classic, but packed with flavor. 4. The chicken burger, on the other hand, was disappointing. The chicken was quite dry, and I probably wouldn't order it again. I think something like pickled onions or another acidic topping could help bring some balance and moisture to the sandwich. 5. We also tried the omelet, which was very good, especially with the goat cheese. What really made the experience special was that the staff noticed we were celebrating a graduation and surprised us with complimentary donuts. It was such a thoughtful gesture and a lovely way to end the meal.
