This has been our first experience with this dealership and every person we have dealt with has been amazing! Our salesman by the name of Nosh was absolutely wonderful in working the deals for us without it feeling forced. And he was very communicative during the entire process. (Keep in mind this was when we were looking at a truck just for myself). The gentleman in finance by the name of Craig was phenomenal as well. I went home with my truck that very same day. I was back a few days later just to get a check engine light checked which they fixed within about an hour and a half. The manager in the service department named Matt kept me in the loop the entire time I was waiting. I had scheduled an appointment to have a bed lining put on and the gentleman in the accessories department by the name of Aladdin was great at letting us know all of the options and how long it would take (it took about 3 1/2 hours). They did a fantastic job! The same day we had the lining put on my truck, my husband decided to get a truck himself. And they made it happen! Over that period I've also brought my 2014 Chrysler 300 S and 2012 Ram 1500 Laramie for service here too. My issue started when I had my last oil change. They managed to spill oil on the 23 JGC engine bay making my vehicle smell like my 1979 Buick Regal I had as my first car. You don't forget that smell. I was told they will put me on a waiting list for them to clean the engine bay. It's been a month and no resolution. Autonation Jeep in Katy is just a bad, but much closer to my home. Dropped off my car on Wednesday for a warranty issue, got it back Friday. Super quick and amazing help/communication from Zaira.

Went in to buy a blue Jeep compass. They did not have any at their location but were able to find one at another dealership a few hours away. They offered to bring it to us and have it cleaned up which we decided to proceed. Once the car arrived, we went to inspect it and noticed bubbles on the tint. They offered to fix it before we took the car off the lot. The wait time to fix was about 2 hours. The car buying experience is never great but this time it was at least tolerable. The whole process took about 6 hours across two days and most of it was just waiting. As a gesture of good faith and to close the sale, I asked our sales guy (Nima) to have a dash cam installed for us (because our last car was in a wreck and totaled) to prevent us from tearing up the inside to hide all the wiring. His gesture was to charge us $400 and we split the bill so we would owe $200 and the dealership would pay the rest. For not even a hardwire install that is a ridiculous price. No good faith in that deal, just scammy and trying to get us to pay more. Not a good feeling and didn't appreciate it. Another thing that I didn't like is how much he tried to convince us to give him all 10s on his "review" and gave us a sob story about how he has a new baby on the way, yea yea yea. Regarding my recent sales experience, I must advise one to cautious over the website's no dealer add ons accuracy and reccomend one call to verify first. A vehicle i was interested in had three unlisted add-on items when i arrived--lojack protection, window tinting (only on two windows), and wheel locks--totaling an outrageous $1,995. Despite my objections, the items were not removed. While the overall discounts offered were to attractive to turn down I ultimately paid for them even though they were way overpriced, and were not represented on the website. The tint has bubbles and debris in it and i will ultimately have better tint installed very soon.. I've had good experience in the service area but wasn't too pleased with the sales departments tactics.. read more

Here is a story for you. I contacted them on a car I desired. They ended up seeking the one. So they offered to find me another. It made sense because they have 22 stores or so. They found the car at a sister store. I sent the deposit the following day. They were to arrange shipping aka transport. I even called the other store to make sure they knew the car was sold. I followed up with the sales man letting him know the car still showed for sale online. I came in and signed all paperwork and gave them more money. I explained that I wanted to finalize the deal since I was leaving the country. We arranged plans for the delivery. I followed up daily just to find out four or five days later they sold my car. Hence I did deposit, followed up daily, signed for the final paperwork, paid them money. Five days later from Learning this. No refund. No car. No replacement, and no one responds. IN SHORT: STAY AWAY IF YOU DON'T WANT YOUR TIME AND MONEY WASTED. Long version: I brought my Jeep in for a warranty-covered repair, and from the start the communication has been unprofessional and inconsistent. Arturo (Service Advisor) told me he would "circle back tomorrow," but I never received a single follow-up call from him. I sent multiple emails to Will, Daniel, and Arturo, and none of them were acknowledged or answered unless I called and pressed. Arturo promised so many different timelines I don't think he could keep up with his promises. Somehow my communication ended up being with Andres for the latter part of this horrible experience. He repeatedly promised callbacks that never happened. My vehicle has now been in their shop for a full week. The day it was supposed to be finished, I suddenly received a new list of "additional issues" that were never mentioned during the earlier diagnostic period. This was especially concerning because I had already questioned whether a full inspection was actually performed -- and only after I raised that concern did these new problems appear. To make matters worse, the loaner department initially acknowledged my request, but I was later told by Andres that I would have to pay $35/day out of pocket for a loaner on a warranty delay. That is not standard practice, and it felt like yet another example of this dealership not being transparent about warranty processes. Between the lack of communication, the unanswered emails, the shifting diagnostic story, and the sudden appearance of new issues on the day the repair was supposed to be completed, I no longer feel confident that my vehicle is being handled thoroughly or honestly. This dealership has made it clear they cannot manage a straightforward warranty claim or provide basic customer service. If you value transparency, follow-through, and professionalism, I strongly recommend taking your vehicle elsewhere. I've reported them and I hope a thorough investigation comes to them. I purchased a brand new 2024 jeep overland back in January. After 2 weeks of purchasing it, it was being towed off for not starting, a check engine light and stalling out in the middle of the I45. It has been there since January 26th. Not once has the GM returned emails or phone calls, he passes me off on to the managers and advocates. The vehicle has been deemed "unrepairable" by service because they can't fix it... so maybe manufacturing can right? Nope. Let's just reset it like before, that just bandaids the problem. Now my options, 1. take my "bandaid" car back, 2. Trade my car in for a vehicle on the lot, 10% below the advertised msrp 3. Appraise my broken car and walk away from it. When I went into Mac Haik CDJR I-10, honestly I was very nervous due to the fact that the last two used vehicles I had were lemons. Constantly in the shop, broken, etc. I was determined NOT to let that happen again. I met Nima, my salesmen, and he instantly was involved and determined to make sure that I was only looking for what I wanted and didn't pressure me nor convince me to look another direction. Whenever I was concerned or disheartened he went out of his way to make sure I got the truck I would want. I settled finally on a blacked out 2019 Ram 1500 that had everything I wanted and more. They even went as far as lowering the price to make sure it fit the budget I needed. Omar, the financial advisor, made sure I had Warranty (on a used vehicle) and GAP included that still fit that strict price range. It was an amazing experience and I was glad to get my dream truck. However - the story takes a sad turn as within 12 hours the check engine light came on and over the period of the next week and a half or so - my newly bought truck had a new camshaft and needed the engine replaced. Mario - the manager over Nima, ensured that I didn't have to pay a dime for the camshaft and then when I came in again for the issue that would turn out to be the straw that made me want to go new truck only (the engine) - worked together with Nima, Omar, and the GM Will - to make sure that not only did I receive that same price range, but also worked hard to ensure I had the 0% APR deal for new RAMs. In the same exact color, look, and body type. (LoneStar) Omar ensured that the same coverage was included and even helped out to make sure I got a bed-liner spray included. My experience with Mac Haik CDJR was interesting to say the least, however I must shout out the key people that went above and beyond anything I could have asked for to ensure that I was taken care of properly. The real MVPs of this entire situation were Nima and Omar. Nima would text me and call me with updates while the truck was in the shop, and worked his hardest to make sure that when they realized they sold me a bad truck - repair the situation and make it right for me as the buyer. He is an outstanding salesman and someone I will always refer anyone to when asked about cars and trucks. Omar was amazing in the financial side of things, made sure the buyback was handled properly and ensured that I was getting everything I needed to cover my own backside if needed. To see both the salesman and the financial advisor work together for the client like that was refreshing to see. I will start by saying all Mac Haik dealerships deserve 1 star. Every one I've been to has wasted my time. I will not go back. This one in particular did that cool thing where they tell you they have a vehicle that's been advertised but when you show up it was conveniently sold. They like to do the old bait and switch nonsense and then upsell you on some other crap. The overly cocky salesman tried bragging about how great their prices were compared to everyone else. He even told me they couldn't match other dealerships quote for my trade in because they have such great prices. He informed me that their online prices are only for repeat customers, customers that finance through them, and customers with trade ins. When I let him know the interest rate my bank offered he recommended I buy with their rate and then just refinance in a few months. I told him his prices were way off... he was offering about an $11K higher price tag than anyone I had visited. The quote paperwork they gave had another customers personal info. My wife and I went to the Mac Haik CDJR dealership in Katy Texas (12111 Katy Fwy, Houston Texas) to look at buying a new 2024 Dodge Hornet GT Plus. The listed online price was $30,376, which was a good deal. We don't live locally, so the drive was long. When we got there the salesman had to jump the cars because the batteries were all dead. All of the Dodge Hornets were covered in dirt and were listed as having been on the lot for over 200 days. While waiting I mentioned to the salesman how they had good deals, he just smiled and agreed, not offering any feedback on the price. After hours of waiting on the dealership we finally got a test drive and an offer. The sale offer was $41,000, which was over the listed MSRP and wildly beyond what the online price. When I asked the salesman why there was such a difference, he gave be some qualifiers for the online price to include giving them a trade in, being a prior customer or using their financing. I believe this was in violation the the Texas Administrative Code Title 43 Part 10 Ch 215 (F). This dealership further added $2000 to the price for dealer add-ons we did not want and they refused to remove, contradicting their own website. I believe this dealership is actively running a bait and switch scam to lure in new customers and I don't think they care to actually sell the Hornets. The sale's manager then doubled down on the insult by being rude and aggressive. Please avoid this place at all costs. read more

I purchased a brand new truck from here and the process was not great. I had to "strong arm" the staff and comeback numerous days to negotiate and finally came to an agreement. However, 2 months later, my truck began having issues starting up and often times required many attempts before "turning over". After spending $70,000 on a new truck, I assumed the staff would be accommodating - they were not. I called to schedule a service appointment and was on hold for more than 30 minutes and then was passed back and forth to different departments - before being told, "there are no loaners, but we can get you an Uber. Also, we'll need your truck for at least 5 days." Due to my work schedule, I need a vehicle every day, so I asked if there was anything they could do to work with me. They offered to put me on a waitlist and would call as soon as a loaner car became available. It's been three weeks, I was never actually placed on a waiting list and the managers I left voicemails for initially, have yet to respond. There is poor/soft "leadership" here and no one is held accountable. This has translated to brutal customer service. I will never purchase another vehicle from this location, and my family which only drives Ram trucks, won't either. read more

There were no other problems with the vehicle. After replacing the part, the technician said there were several other problems with the vehicle and said it would cost over 1000.00 to repair them. He said there were several additional leaks he had found. I knew there were no other problems with the vehicle so I picked up the vehicle and took it to another mechanic. It turns out there were no other problems with the vehicle and the technician didn't replace the housing correctly. I ended up paying 100 bucks to fix a problem they said was going to cost 1000.00 bucks and they were the reason the problem existed in the first place. These guys are a bunch of crooks! Went in to buy a used jeep. My salesman told me they were the #1 used car dealer. Upon purchase, the Jeep was on empty after leaving the lot. I had to stop. I was not even 15 minutes up the road, before I noticed the gas level. I reached out to my salesman & had to go back to the lot during the work week for a key, as service closed while I was in the process of purchasing my vehicle. There were issues with my paperwork and contracts that I had to bring to the attention of the finance guy & once again, come back to the lot. 11 days later I had to bring the vehicle in for AC problems. No problem for me, as I intended to wait on the vehicle. Service tech told me they didn't know when the vehicle would be ready & put me in a much smaller loaner vehicle. Luckily Mac Haik had 2 and one in the race red I've been drooling over for months. I was set up with Zanish who worked quickly to get a me a great trade-in value and a number on the new truck we were both happy with. It's funny, they've turned off all ability to leave feedback on Facebook, and have turned the ability to comment on their posts off....there's a reason! I've been seeing their ads for months, I really wasn't planning on a new vehicle, but like others have said their deals look too good to be true. They are currently doing a 100% original MSRP trade-in, so I decided to bite.... I submitted their online trade-in value, they came back with an offer range of $22,245-$24,595. (My original MSRP is $26,795). I went in person today to follow up to see what end of the spectrum they would actually offer me, or if they would actually honor the full MSRP, with all of the upgrades on my Jeep, I really expected the higher end, even though it still wasn't original MSRP. I guess the sales rep misheard what my pay-off was (which really shouldn't effect what they offer, but it did), they offered me $18,500...when I commented "that won't even pay-off what I currently owe, and you're not even matching what your online submission came back with" they came up to $21,000...again, no where near the original MSRP of $26,795....as I was leaving they said they could go up to $22K.... The Jeep I was looking at was marked $37,862 (which is a great price for that model) on their website and on the window sticker, however when they brought me their quote, with the low-ball trade it, there is an additional $1,995 in dealer add-ons that isn't listed anywhere, brought the price up to$39,857. Combine the price increase with the low-ball offer, there was no way to make it happen....I feel like these guys did nothing by waste my time. read more
