    This is the 1st time I come across a store that has no explanation for charging more for the same item. When I asked the manager her statement was "one of the items arrived a week ago and the other item arrived last night". The item was the same color, same size, same bar code. Just posting this to have consumers aware of over charging.

    Fragrance took over macys and there wasn't one employee trying to put one down your throat lol. I never seen such a desperation at macys, hahaha. I am surprised someone didn't spray me against my will. They keep wanting to give me the paper sample and all I wanted to do was to get out since it was very stressful trying to navigate thru them. I got allergies to flowers, so moments like these are a threat to my asthma. I wanted to get shoes but left empty handed since it was too much what they were doing. I felt I was in a hidden camera show LMAO

    Today I was given the best customer service by non other than Jayden and a girl by the name of Evelyn. Not only did they help me find what I was looking for but also helped my mom and grandma find the perfect shade match and accommodated to their needs. They were also very knowledgeable in their makeup and answered any questions we asked. If you ever come to this Macy's i highly recommend asking for Evelyn! I would also say Jayden but he broke the news to us that he would be transferring to the Macy's located in Santa Anita ARCADIA (best wishes to them) ;)

    Ordered jeans online via their app and picked it up at this Macy's. I had just played 18 holes of mini golf and did a lot of walking at Disneyland resort and stopped by to pick-up my pants when I saw they had curbside pick-up parking. I parked and used the app to notify someone I was at the parking lot. Someone came out but wasn't sure which number I was in. Instead of knocking on my window and asking to see a conformation e-mail, they just went back inside. I later found out they tried to call me, but the phone number I had on file was outdated. I would still purchase from this Macy's because they have great inventory and they also have curbside pick-up.

    JL beauty I love that it says beauty has no expiration date yet the box I received from an online order was expired. The women that helped me with my return were fantastic at the Brea Mall. However whoever was in charge of stock or shipment needs to do better at checking what they send their customers and making sure they aren't sending them expired products.

    Nice and clean compared to all the other Macy's this has been the cleanest lots of workers no need to hunt people down for help.

I walked out feeling disrespected and humiliated by a staff that is clearly untrained and hostile. ​The experience at the returns counter was a disaster from start to finish: ​The "Frontline" Issue: The associate (thin with black hair) was flat-out insulting. She rolled her eyes, talked down to me, and acted like following the store's own return policy was a personal burden to her. It wasn't just "attitude"--it was blatant unprofessionalism. ​The Incompetence: A second associate with curly hair actually found me an exchange item in a larger size, only to suddenly "change her story" and claim it wasn't policy. Don't offer solutions you don't understand; it's misleading and incompetent. ​The "Leadership": When the manager was called over, things actually got worse. Instead of de-escalating, the manager was arrogant, dismissive, and provided zero help. ​When the leadership is this rude, it explains why the staff feels comfortable mistreating paying customers. This isn't just one "bad day"--it's a systemic failure in training and accountability. Zara corporate needs to take a hard look at the Brea location because the current staff is driving loyal customers away for good. I will never spend another dime here.

The first time I showed up about 8 months ago and the store was closed - during business hours. It wasn't even lunch time. Today I was at the Brea Mall so I thought I'd try again. I called at 12:30 PM to see if they carry the style of shoe that I was looking for. There was no answer. I called twice. I don't understand since they don't even open until 12 PM. Their business hours are listed 12-5pm. Do they open at 12 and then go on a 2 hour lunch break? I really don't get it. I showed up at their store at 1:15pm today, and just as I was parking, a young man was at the front door, changing the little sign with a Clock that shows when they will be back!! What the hell? This is my second attempt. I guess they don't want my business. It's absolutely ridiculous. This place sucks already since it's never open when you show up. They won't answer the phone either so there's that. How frustrating!! don't waste your time! The store is small anyways. Looking through the window they don't have much inventory, so I guess I won't waste my time ever again in the future. Lame!! I don't know how they stay in business.

When I arrived, MJ was at the front of the store warmly welcoming customers. Within moments, she was on her headset requesting my item, verified my original purchase, and completed my exchange quickly and seamlessly. The entire process was effortless. Before I left, her staff took a few minutes to tell us about an upcoming event and even introduced us to a lotion they recommended. I'm glad they did--it worked great with my skin! Thank you, MJ, for what may have seemed like routine customer service to you, but truly felt like going above and beyond to me. Your professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail made a lasting impression. Your team is fortunate to have such a great leader, and it definitely shows in the level of service throughout the store.

I placed an order during your Aloversary event and was not aware there was a limited pickup window. I work graveyard shifts five days a week at a hospital, so I do not always have the time to constantly check my emails. What upset me most was the way your staff at the Brea Mall location approached me about the situation. I felt the interaction was rude, discriminatory, and lacking compassion. Unfortunately, this is not the first negative experience I've had at this location. I hope your staff can be trained to approach customers with more kindness, professionalism, and understanding. The positives: Clothing quality seems very high with soft and thick fabrics. Store is large and clean and we'll organized. Staff seemed friendly and polite although sparce and hard to locate or identify in the store itself... Side note : (I finally did identify someone who was an employee by going to the fitting room, when I asked him about the return policy, he said something to the effect of "when you buy online, the return policy is..." he paused trying to find the right words, so I helped the poor guy out by jumping in and saying: "a disaster?" he promptly and begrudgingly agreed.) Read on: The "need to knows": prices seem above average to high relative to other stores and relative to what you get... perhaps they are trying to compete with higher end stores...? I am not a huge shopper so I can't really say for sure, hence the reason this fact is not listed as a negative. Sizing is off, not just relative to normal sizes, but even within their own product lines. You really need to try stuff on and not assume a large in product x will fit the same as a large in product y. This is what brings me to the negatives.. The bad: the return policy is vague at best... We purchased online and shipped to store, and of course NOTHING FIT. We had no idea this meant there is absolutely no way to return for a refund. Surely this is stated in some vague return policy section online, but really, what store doesn't allow for a return and why would a client in this day and age think to check that or even fathom a company wouldn't stand by their product? Not only is there no refund but there is also no return for store credit LMAO, yes NO STORE CREDIT even!! What does this mean we asked: you have to find another item for the same price and do a like for like exchange. Guess what? The sizing SUCKS, as noted above, and they did not have ANY of the items we bought online that didn't fit in store for us to just exchange for the size that fit... So we had to wonder around aimlessly for similar priced items to exchange... After about an hour and finally choosing some random overpriced crap we really didint need, as opposed to wasting the $80+ we spent online, we went back to the checkout to try to exchange. The HILARITY continued at this point when our exchange items were like 40 cents Less than the items bought online.. Could we get 40c back? NO Could we just let them keep the 40c? No What could we do? Buy ANOTHER ITEM we don't need and pay the difference. LMAO rufk? So we bought a $6 tote bag from the checkout line and we're out another $5+ as this was basically our lowest cost option. (Not to mention I need another canvas tote like I need a hole in the head) So as we finalized this Ridiculous transaction what does the employee tell us: NOW THIS EXCHANGE IS FINAL SALE!! LMAO.. you gotta be fn kidding me... So after an hour and a half we left with $86 of overpriced items we didn't need and were absolutely stuck with, just lovely. To add to the already unbelievable experience, as my wife and I were dealing with this BS, there was a poor young lady at the checker next to us having essentially the SAME ridiculous conversation... Hers was aggravated further with a gift card or store credit involved which somehow, unsurprisingly, also was causing her purchase to be unreturnable/final sale and not an option to be credited back to her stored value card.. WTF? YEA, AS I SAID IN THE OPENING COMMENT, THATS THE FIRST AND LAST SALE FROM US!
