I'm so heartbroken that I have to leave this here, but I was hung up on when I called. I've been a Macy's card holder since I was 18. It was the very first credit card I owned. I'm a loyal customer but was treated the way W**mart employees treat there customers. I pay more and shop at Target for the experience. Today was the first day back to the mall for me since March of last year. I wanted to shop. After being ignored downstairs, I made my way upstairs where a very nice lady asked if I needed her help. I asked for a cologne and she directed me back downstairs. I let her know that no one (except for the amazing lady in the sunglass department! She was awesome!!!), asked if I needed help locating the cologne. Her response was "you're a grown man, you should of used your big boy voice." Then walked away. I was stunned. Im a business owner and she should be terminated. She's a liability and lost your company 1000's of dollars. I am cutting up my card and will never ship at Macy's again. read more

I Bought a Skyline helicopter... Friendly cashiers gave me the deal... Already discounted big time..... Then they took an extra 15% off.. Cause I opened a Macy's credit card account.. Not that I plan to use their credit card.. I dislike credit cards... but...I wanted the discount... So I try to fly it...... OK...I've got great altitude... 6 feet in the air... Wow...this is cool... night time... lights on copter.. 20 feet in the air.... ooooh ooooh..... 50 feet in the air... flying backwards... no forward throttle... We have a copter down... between the houses... Not Cool. It survived crash.. Second night time flight... Up it goes... I hover at about 15 feet for five minutes.... I swing it to the left and swing it to the right... Altitude now 30 feet and still hovering... Ooooh ooooh... it's going backwards... unable to throttle forward... Geeeez... I'm headed for the power lines on my house.... The copter went down on the roof with a broken rotor blade.... I put it back in the box and wondered what happened to my beautiful helicopter. I decided to take it back to Macy's and return the helicopter... The female cashiers laughed and sent me to this guy in the mens section... Don't worry about it sir. This review is for the Lancome in Macy's. Nicole is so nice!! I went there to do a skin color match for the foundation. Girls know how much efforts it takes...and I'm pretty picky. Nicole is very patient and professional too! Not like many other sales, just try to pick one they assume is right for you. She tried every single color we thought maybe correct and put on my face to see the result. I'm very happy about the service, and while I'm there, there were 2 ladies waiting for her too. I am actually shocked I received amazing customer service at this Macy's! Most of the time, it's as if you'd have to go hunting to look for more employees around. There are always long lines, but only one or two employees working at each cashier. I also never see any employees walking around, so it's difficult when you have a simple question that can't be answered without having to wait in a long line. I brought my cousins to West Co Mall to shop for both of their 8th grade graduations. It is a long ways from now, but I wanted to give them more time to look for something before it becomes chaotic. Another good reason to shop early on, is so that nobody else would wear the same outfit as you! I went to the women's shoes section and Cheryl was so awesome! It was one of my cousin's first time shopping for heels and Cheryl's service was above and beyond. I actually did not expect anyone to be so helpful to us. My cousins got her cute heels for a really good deal! Next on, we went to the junior's section for dresses. Sandra was also so incredibly helpful to us! We were able to find a lot of cute dresses and Sandra even helped us decide on which one looked better. We found one that my cousin really liked, but they didn't have her size in store. Sandra helped us look online and we were able to receive her dress in her size in the mail! I always dreaded coming to department stores because it'd always take so long to complete transactions. Which was why I'd always prefer to just order online. We all experienced amazing customer service, and now my views of Macy's has changed since! Thank you Cheryl and Sandra for all your help! So, I gave my pops his presents.....he opens em and looks at them and guess what he finds?! The security tags are still on. Of course the alarm didn't sound as I left Macy's on Monday, but as I walked back in it sounded and yeah EVERYONE looked at me. Awesome. Good thing an employee was near the door and saw me walk in. She came to see what happened, and I told her the security tags were left one. She asked me for the receipt and so I gave it to her......she totally analyzes it. Are you kidding me lady? I went to return a pair of shoes Macy's had incorrectly sent me. The worst experience! Judith, who is the women's shoes manager was condescending, rude and impatient! She stated she couldn't help me, I asked her to get a manager and she walked away. When I asked to speak to the store manager Jill, she was not available - she was out of the premises. Linda, another employee in the shoe department helped me quickly and politely. Took care of the problem. How is it possible that a department manager is so rude and unable or unwilling to do a simple task, but another employees in the same department is willing to do it. Shouldn't they promote employees that are capable of doing the work, willing to do their job, are pleasant, professional and courteous to customers. Judith, not only didn't want to help, I think she thought I was one of her employees. How sad for the employees working in Judith's department, if she is so rude to customers, how does she treat the employees that work under her? Won't be back to Macy's. There are so many stores that offer the same thing with good customer service. I am very dissatisfied with Macy's new "bounce back" promo. I have shopped here for years and I have always been able to use my 25% off coupon on file for my purchase. Well this time they informed me that if I wanted to use my coupon I would have to come back and pick my merchandise up on Saturday. So they bagged our garments and put them on hold for pick up. When they asked how I was going to pay, I said, I have 2 e-gift cards. The cashier scan my gift cards. The rest I paid with a debit card. My receipt printed. Then the cashier wasn't giving me my bag. I asked what happened, her reply I just need to verify your gift cards. Why? Everything is paid. She make me wait for more than 10 minutes until the manager came. She looked at me like I was robbing. Don't ever order anything from Macy's online. If you by an item online and have it shipped to their store to pick it up, be aware that if they claim they don't have your order even though it says "delivered", they will not help you! Instead they will give you the run around. They will give you a hard time trying to get a refund. If you claim you never got it but their system says "delivered" they don't care to help you. They won't believe you and give you a hard time about getting a refund. Don't ever order anything online from Macy's!!! read more

This review is generally for the Handbag Department only - Michael Kors sections specifically. It was the 2Day special Sale (like always they have some kind of sales going on, they just change the name on it). The place was not that busy - I was interested in this particular MK bag that was chained up at the back wall. As far as I know the bag is on Sale, but I don't see any sign on the rack and also the tag still show full price there is no markdown. The nice and helpful sales lady name Cathy helped me and she checked on the price at the register and sure enough it was like mark down plus additional off and if you use your Macys card you get additional % off. Also I had bought another bag and asked her if they have a newer one in the back(storage/office). She checked it and gave me the new one from the back. She is so helpful and I really appreciated of what she had done for me that day. She went the extra miles to give the best customer service. I was very pleased with her assistance and she does it pleasantly. She also went ahead and checked other locations if they carry the bag that I was inquiring about. After waiting in a long line with 1 slow cashier, me holding a coffee machine & a box off coffee..it's finally my turn. 20.00 rebate on Keurig?!! Purchased a Keurig coffee machine and a box of coffee pods, as a housewarming gift. I ask about the rebate after cashier rings me up, guess what? To get the rebate I have to CUT OFF the UPC code and mail it in with my receipt & their rebate form. Really? It's a gift..I cant cut off the UPC code & give the box to someone. So..no rebate for me. I could have bought the same items at Target with less stress. I wanted to buy a Tommy Hilfiger dress. I tried it on but I noticed there was a mark on it..I wasn't sure if it was deodorant from someone else or a defect in the fabric. I ask the cashier, she looks at it & says IDK. Told her if it's deodorant I'll buy it. Says she cannot take the time & it does look like a defect. Whatever. I just went to Nordstrom Rack & bought 2 dresses & 2 pair of shoes. The last 3 visits here have actually been pretty good! I went to the Origins counter because my friend recommended the products for my acne breakout. The first visit, I purchased my first 3 products, a cleanser, toner, and moisturizer, based off of the counseling I received from the associate. She took the time to listen to what my issues were and she made some great recommendations. I have a pretty oily face and the cleanser really cleanses the oils off my face and keeps it tamed. The Zero Oil toner is awesome! And the Ginzing moisturizer she recommended is water based and it doesn't leave my face at all greasy after application or even by the end of the day! The second visit at the Origin counter, I had to buy another cleanser because I left the last one I purchased at my friends house. So I wanted to try something different so I can see how the other products affect my skin. So this time I purchased the frothy face wash. I used this for a couple weeks and I started to break out again! Oh no! So the 3rd visit, I asked the associate if I'm able to do an exchange even though I've used the product for 2 weeks. She said yes! And I exchanged it for the Zero Oil cleanser. I've used it the last couple of days and my breakouts are clearing up! So happy with the products and the service I have received from the Origins counter! And to clarify, these aren't the only shopping experiences I've had at this store. The manager at the dress department sucks! We are platinum customers and I don't appreciate how we were treated. The Manager Irene was not helping us at all. We found a two piece dress and it was missing the jacket we asked if we could get it at the price that they sold it at Nordstrom's and she said no she wouldn't let us have it for less because it was missing half the outfit. Came to this Macy's specifically to look at couches because the Macy's in the 626 didn't have sofas in store to see. The sofa/home floor was very spacious with all of their best selling sofas on display if not all of them. I was very pleased with how I could sit on all the couches I was interested in after looking online. By the end of my sitting around session and talking to a very helpful worker named Delia who answered all my questions, I pretty much decided on my couch with my family then and there! I would recommend anyone looking for sofas to come to their sofa floor and try out all their sofas. This Macy's department store carries decent shoes and clothing, but they are totally not worth what they are charging. Their perfume and cosmetic counters are another story. As I passed through this department, the selection of scents was amazing. I almost had to stop and smell every single available option, but I was on a mission to get to the M-A-C counter. Once there at my Mecca, I already knew what I wanted so I was looking for a sales representative to assist me with getting those items. I waited for 10 minutes before I was greeted, granted, there were a few people getting some mini makeovers, but I was actually ready to make a purchase on multiple items. The girl that helped me wasn't quite sure of the prices on eyeshadow, which is like a best seller there, or if they had the lipstick shade that I was looking for. As she went to check on these items, she was immediately sidetracked by another customer that came in after me and then I had to wait again to make my purchase. 25 minutes later, I was paying another zombie cashier (first one at Nordstrom Rack) my hard earned money and then barely received a thank you for shopping at Macy's.
