Dined here for an early dinner in forest hills. Off the bat this is a huge establishment with plenty of seating available. My friend and I ordered the kimchi fries and the fried chicken and quesadilla as well as a bottle of soju and lychee cocktails. I think next time I would opt for regular fries as I found the kimchi fries to have way too many onions for my preference. MFC is great for groups since they have large communal tables and large-format drinks to share. The service could have been a little better at the bar as it seems like after approaching you twice they forget about you to an extent. The first time I had Mad for Chicken was on Northern Blvd years ago and am so thrilled they opened a location in Forest Hills. It's close enough to the train station and located where a lot of the dining spots are on Austin Street. We called in our order on a Saturday early evening. Hubby went in to get the order and they brought it out from the back of the restaurant. Masks were worn by staff. Food comes in cute boxes. The boxes have some ventilation areas so that the chicken maintains its crunchiness. The shopping bag it comes with is superrr nice considering it's a food takeout order. Very reusable! Ha! Spicy soy garlic wings and drumsticks - hubby can handle a lot of spice and said this was okay, not too hot for him. I, on the otherhand, can handle limited amount of spice and this did a number on me. Tip of the tongue was on fire but still ate through a few wings. We ordered: * 2 x Happy Hour wings (4 pieces per order) ($10) * Drumsticks and Thighs, 5 pieces ($14.95) * Parmesan Truffle Fries ($11) * Mac & Melted Cheese ($12) with added Bulgogi for $3 ($15) Everything for $55.47, which was surprisingly not bad for the amount of food we ordered. Happy Hour wings are a great value and you can still choose what kind of sauce you want. We chose half and half for all our chicken but wished we just stuck with all soy garlic. Parmesan Truffle Fries and the Mac & Melted Cheese helped pass the time while we waited for our chicken. Fries were fried to perfection and addicting, while the Mac and melted cheese was very decadent with their bechamel sauce. I would recommend adding bulgogi to help cut the richness of the dish. As for the chicken, I was surprised by the candy-like exterior coating followed by an epic crunch and juicy meat. We were very happy to see our Drumsticks & Thighs are dark meat too.
