Really fresh and affordable. Great spot and awesome quality items. I do wish they had some more descriptions for English speakers. Overall I was not disappointed. The waitresses was attentive even though it was busy. Smaller setting so expect a little chatter.

Tried Ju Bang Jang and was pretty disappointed. The gopchang jjigae had sand in it, which means the intestines weren't cleaned well lol. Definitely not what you want in this dish. The haemul pajeon and dolsot were okay, but nothing special. With so many good spots in Flushing, this one just didn't stand out for me.

The food was pretty good especially the fried dumplings. Nice place for a quick lunch. The place was small but fully seated. It would be nice if they had an additional waiter. One person picking up calls, serving and taking order was too much. So the service was not good only because it was too busy. Orders got mixed up and took a while to get the check and to just get a bowl for the soup.

A hidden gem of a Korean restaurant. I love supporting local businesses and this restaurant not only gave mom and pop feels, but also was definitely very authentic. There's a few spaces for parking directly in front and only a few tables inside, fairly small. When I came for dinner, there weren't many others here so we were seated immediately. The staff was friendly and service was great! We ordered a few dishes off their mains which have a variety of rice dishes, soups, noodles and more. After putting in our order, we were given a variety of banchans which most Korean restaurants don't really have these days, other than kimchi. All of the banchan tasted homemade and were delicious, and they refilled it for us too! We got a seafood pancake to share which was crispy so it was the perfect texture but the only fillings were green onions and squid. I got the samgyetang, aka ginseng chicken soup, and it tasted suuper hearty. It's usually filled with sticky rice and chestnuts which ended up coming out of the chicken after cutting it and was delicious, but could've used more rice, maybe even a side of rice to accompany it. The chicken was a little tough and didn't have much meat but I loved the soup which you know is full of collagen. I also tried my friend's spicy pork over rice, a classic with thinly sliced pork. The jjampong rice was served with a huge portion of the jjampong soup. It was spicy in the best way and filled with so much seafood. The cold noodles were also delicious but could've used some more broth. Definitely a restaurant that I would come back for!

We stopped in for dinner and the food was good, filling and a good price. The service was also very good.

Tried this place for the first time and got it as take out. I ordered the haemul soondubu and yukaejang. Both very tasty and flavorful. Will definitely go back and have it in restaurant next time. Meal was great and eating in will probably taste even better! Additionally service was quick and pleasant. Highly recommend!

We've been back several times and this has quickly become a new favorite. Not sure if the management changed, but the older not-so-friendly woman is no longer around, and instead - a new sweet lady is always there now, front and center. She seems to be the owner, and is very welcoming and attentive. The service and food have all shot up for the better and they've definitely grown their business because it's always pretty busy now. Their prices have gone up a bit - I don't think due to popularity, rather - because America and inflation - sigh. Everything we've had here, has been consistent across multiple visits!

Our foodie grown up kids wanted to try this restaurant that specialize in Korean street food. Don't know what to expect, photos were misleading and I thought this place only had outside tent dining area, was greatful for the small restaurant with limited seating, approximately 20-26 seats. Very homey with locals eat here felling. We plan on returning to try more on their menu. We recommend this restaurant - especially the soysause marinated raw crabs, so sweet and tangy!

After reading some great reviews I decided to walk over and try this place out. I do pass by it almost every day on the bus after work but I never knew the name of the place because it is only in Korean. But once I found this place on yelp I looked at the location and the photo of the outside and was able to figure it out. I have to admit I was always intrigued by it but the timing just never worked out. WOW, am I glad I decided to check this spot out! Walked in at around 3:30-4pm and the place was empty but I was there for takeout on this given day. Found out lunch special ends at 3pm which is good to know for future visits. This place is no frills just very straight to the point and feels like one of those restaurants where you're bound to get good food. I ended up ordering the Haemul Sundubu(seafood tofu stew) and the Jeyuk Deopbap(stir-fried pork w/rice) which came out to $34 and change, which I thought was decent in comparison to other places. One of the ladies asked me if I would like some Kimchi to go which I felt was really thoughtful because I've heard that the ban chan is usually something only really offered when you dine in at a restaurant. Food only took about 10 minutes, I paid and left them a tip because they were super nice and this place already seemed like a gem. When I got home I dove into the Sundubu and the flavors were great with an abundance of tofu. The only thing I have to point out in an otherwise fantastic dish is that there wasn't much seafood in the soup. Not a complaint at all, because the soup was delicious and I would certainly order it again, but it is something I felt the need to point out for future customers so you know what to expect. Next thing I tasted was the kimchi and my goodness it was so fresh and crunchy! Absolutely delicious Kimchi. The stir-fried pork with rice was awesome as well : tasty with a kick but not overly spicy at all. Great balance between pork and onions. Overall this place is a gem. I most certainly will be returning and may make this my go-to whenever I'm not in the mood to cook at home.

Stir fried pork and ride was amazing.

Amazing service with a quaint family restaurant feeling. Food was incredible and came out fast. I'd go back in a heartbeat next time I'm in the area.

Great tasting cold noodles / food. Seemed like authentic traditional vibes. Every single person eating inside was Korean , and had that feel of a hole in the wall in Korea. The food tasted just like I imagined it would be. High quality and not too heavy on the stomach. I ordered pick up and didn't eat fresh inside but it still tasted great. If I ate inside probably would have tasted way better in my opinion.

It's before Yelp and even before internet time). I could not imagine I can have this noodle in Bayside now. Comparing to the famous beef noodles I had, this is pretty good but still a way to go. Let's start with the noodle. It is al dente and carry the soup really well. The braised beef made well too. The tenderness is just fine. However, I missed the big piece of meat instead of bite size chopped cube. It is easy to eat but could be more satisfying. The Shanghainese Pok Choy is a must in order to complete this dish authentically. However, it's overly chopped. I missed the couple halved Shanghainese Pok Choy placed nicely on the side. For the soup, the fave is fine and the balance of the sour and savory is just to the point. However, I wish I could have more pickled veggie that added more sourness to the soup. It would be much better to place a container of pickled veggie on each table for the customer to add it freely. That would be perfect. This place is cozy, clean and neat. Thanks for the ambiance. Menu is very limited with the protein options though with a few choices of noodles (spicy, ramen, or soup versions). They also carry poke bowls which I have yet to try. I did enjoy my beef over rice very much. Thin slices of beef, super tender and delicious. The sauce was on the sweeter side which was drizzled onto the beef as an au jus. And it came with half an egg, pickled radishes and broccoli. Another dish I enjoyed was the fish and cabbage hot pot. That was served with a bowl of rice. No noodles. Even with the spice level at "one pepper" rating, it was too much of a kick for me. But those that like spicy will enjoy it just fine. The fish pieces it came with were generous sized portions and this bowl was loaded with vegetables. Wood ear, mushrooms, cabbage, sliced white radish, and bean curd skin. It also has a few slices of spam (which I did order extra so I'm not sure if the normal is two slices). We also tried the pan fried pork gyoza which was perfectly fried on each side. Nice color. Taiwanese pork as a side comes with one pc per order. The fried chicken appetizer could use a little more spices but the chicken was so tender and very juicy. I liked it a lot. It does come with a dipping sauce which helps but I didn't use it much. All in all a good spot for take out but the menu will need to be expanded in order to have longevity. Sadly it didn't look busy each time I came to pick up. Staff is attentive and friendly.

The black bean noodles had good flavor, although I thought the sauce was a little thin and didn't cling to the noodles as well as I would have liked. The spicy seafood noodle soup looked fiery, but the spice level was surprisingly smooth and well-balanced. It had plenty of flavor without being overwhelmingly hot. The sweet and sour pork was served fresh, hot, and crispy. I especially enjoyed the crunchy coating. It also came with a crispy fried dough dessert coated with hard candy, which was a nice finish to the meal. My only minor complaint was that the candy coating wasn't evenly distributed. Whenever I come across Taiwanese beef noodle soup, I usually have to try it. Overall, it was pretty good, the broth was tasty and the meat was tender. They offer both beef and beef tendon noodle soup, which I always appreciate since not every place does. However, when my mother requested just beef tendon due to dental issues, we were told it couldn't be accommodated because the meat is pre-portioned. That was a bit surprising for such a small establishment, as I would have assumed it was ladled from a larger pot like many similar places. I ended up ordering the same bowl and giving my mom all the tendon while I kept the meat although I'll admit I would have preferred to keep the tendon for myself. My cousin ordered the spicy beef noodle soup, which she really enjoyed. I tried a taste as well, but it wasn't really my preference. The spice had more of a Sichuan-style profile, leaning toward that mala flavor that I don't personally enjoy. Aside from that, the soup was enjoyable, though not the best I've had, but certainly nowhere near the worst either. We also ordered stinky tofu, which unfortunately didn't have quite enough soy sauce (I could have asked for more, but didn't bother) and ended up tasting a bit under-seasoned. It also wasn't as pungent as one would hope. Service was minimal, with one server who I believe may also have been the owner. While everything came out correctly, there wasn't much flexibility with requests, which made the experience feel a bit rigid. Prices were also on the higher side for a small, off-the-beaten-path spot. Overall, it was a decent meal with some good flavors, but a few inconsistencies kept it from being a standout.
