Not a restaurant or pop-up, just a residential address with no response. Waste of time. 0 stars.

Even though they're still listed as vegetarian in some places, they told us they've actually gone fully vegan, which was such a pleasant surprise. As a family with vegans in my family, it's always exciting to find a restaurant where they have so many delicious options to choose from. Everything we tried was fresh, flavorful, and made with care, and it was clear that a lot of thought went into the menu. Brenda was very welcoming and happy to answer our questions. We'll definitely be making this a regular stop whenever we're in the Riverside area. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for amazing vegan food!

Clearly we were new, but they explained the menu to us and provided details regarding their plant-based and vegetarian options. There's so many to choose from! Everything looked so good, we ended up getting egg rolls, the clay pot dish, and the banh uot. It was so good! We've tried the clay pot in other restaurants but this place is the best. All the food was great. Healthy and fresh made to order. We ended up ordering extra food togo and also tried their buns. Pretty tasty! If we're ever in town we'll definitely be returning to try out some other things on the menu.

My partner and I drove nearly 50 minutes from Torrance, and after one visit, we're officially hooked. Parking was a breeze, and the staff welcomed us with genuine warmth from the moment we walked in. Opening the menu was both exciting and dangerous because everything looked incredible. It felt like vegan comfort food heaven. We were craving something that tasted like a home-cooked meal, and let's just say...rice is life! We ordered the Clay Pot Veggie Fish with a basket of white rice, and WOW. The savory sauce was packed with flavor, and the fresh crushed peppercorns added the perfect kick. It came with a fresh salad and pickled vegetables that balanced everything beautifully. We also ordered the Banh Ot Cha Lua, the rice paper rolls, and the vegan egg rolls. I loved that they served the egg rolls with lettuce and fresh mint for wrapping--exactly how I grew up eating them at my mom's house. That nostalgic touch instantly earned bonus points. What really stood out was the hospitality. When we mentioned it was our first visit and that we had driven all the way from Torrance, our host smiled and asked, "Would you like to hear our favorite dishes?" Umm...yes, please! That's the kind of genuine customer service that makes people feel like family instead of just another table. Everything arrived piping hot, fresh, and made with care. It was so good that before leaving, I ordered another Clay Pot Veggie Fish to go because I knew I'd be craving it later. Needless to say, the 50-minute drive home somehow felt a lot shorter with a happy stomach. We'll absolutely be back, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Thien Tam to anyone looking for authentic, flavorful Vietnamese vegetarian food.

We came with a group on a saturday and they were able to seat us immediately - plenty of parking in the large plaza where the Hat and Shiki Buffet is (previously hometown buffet location). All of the items on the menu were intriguing, but I was eyeballin' the salt and pepper one and the fried tofu. My buddy got the lemongrass "chicken" and also the curry with bread. Since we were eager to try the different types of food, we did a family style and that was the best decision. We also got eggplant, and the rice cake/egg. I thought the rice cake looked underwhelming, but our entire group had a consensus and voted that as the top fave of the night. Everything was super tasty and we left happy and full and with leftovers! Super excited to return and to recommend to others. I look forward to come back to try some of the other items such as the "beef" noodle soup or the bun rieu or pho! I also appreciate that some of the dishes came with rice included -we actually ended up with too much rice, but perfect for leftovers the next day. Upon checking out, there was delicious thing by the cash register that was green and resembled a bundt cake in slices. It was labled mochi pandan, and it was AMAZING. so spongy, so delicious and a little sweet. Perfect end of the night that my buddy got one to go right after. It was made fresh and you can tell by how soft it was. I appreciate that this restaurant has vegetarian versions of common vietnamese and chinese dishes. They all were delicious and unique and did not feel too oily or heavy. They look and taste like meat and also the sauces were 100% on point. Thank you Happy Buddha!!

We enjoyed all of them. I was especially happy they had a non-dairy milk for Thai tea - and it was yummy! They served us a surprise dessert of a sweet mung bean soup like dish - that was a nice treat and unexpected.

A few of our favorite vegetarian restaurants have been closing down lately, so my mom and I have been searching for a new spot. We were SO HAPPY and SO SATISFIED with the food and the spectacular service here. Everything here is vegan. If the name has a protein in it, just know that it is a faux version made of mushroom or tofu skin. Since it was our first visit, we ordered a lot hoping to find a few good dishes, but we were pleasantly surprised that everything was delicious. House Hot Tea ($3) - Great deal for a pot of hot tea for the table. Very complimentary to the food. Hot and Sour Soup ($11.95) - Warm, soothing. I love that it's a chunky sweet and sour soup. Lettuce Wraps ($11.95) - Fresh appetizer to compliment all of the other warm items. This was really crunchy and well textured, which you can lose with vegetarian/vegan food. Crispy Oyster Mushroom ($19.95) - MUST ORDER! One of our favorites. The mushroom has a tasty batter and it's deep fried with basil. Simple but delicious. Sesame Crispy Fish ($17.95) - MUST ORDER! Super crunchy and flavorful. I think it's made from seaweed and tofu skin but it has the crispiness of baby fish. General Tso Chicken ($16.95) - A really good mushroom alternative. We were really surprised how much we liked it. I haven't had the meat version of the general tso chicken, but I'm digging this vegan version. Chicken Fried Rice ($13.95) - A good base for all of the delicious food. My mom commented that it was too bland, but I feel like if it was any more seasoned I can't eat other entrée items with it. To me it's a base, and it was what we needed to round out the meal. Great friendly service from beginning to end. They were really good about refilling our water, giving my mom extra napkins, helping us pack up our leftovers, and all those small thoughtful touches throughout the meal. We will DEFINITELY be back soon!

Super friendly. Quick. Smart and helped me troubleshoot an issue with my in kind app. She was even honest about a dish I wasn't sure about ordering or not. My favorite is the house noodle soup. My kids like it too. I specifically come here for those noodles. The pictures I have aren't the best because I dug onto the food before thinking of taking pictures. The noodle dish is the most consumed . The buns are a hit or miss. Wontons are decent. Orange chicken my kids like. General tso chicken is spicy but I think it could be made mild. Pretty good. Husband's favorite. Kung pao shrimp I liked but no one else. Tomato with "egg" was good, flavorful. Wish it was real egg but perfect for vegans. Lychee green tea is good. They accept in kind payment! I've been here many times. Haven't had an error in my orders. Orders come out pretty quick.

Where I had an issue I would have to say is the Service I came here twice this week , once on a Monday and Mondays salad was so good I went back Tuesday to order it again on Monday, I ordered this chopped salad and it was fantastic, not to mention, it had a really nice cleansing effect on me later lol, so I went back Tuesday. This place is across town. It's not in my backyard. I went in a man that was there the day before helped me. I think he was the manager or maybe the owner the place is dead even when I was there Monday at lunchtime there was one person eating and that was it. I went back Tuesday at lunchtime one person eating nobody else 10 tables. one guy having lunch so I walk up to the counter the counter person was pleasant dress nice clean, nice smile I said I was here yesterday he saw me I said I had that chop salad it was fantastic I want to order it again but I don't see it all of a sudden he says yeah we took that off the menu this morning we're going to take it off for the summer and will put it back up at the end of summer I'm like you're kidding I drove all the way over here for that salad was so good.... so I'm looking at the menu and there's a lot of different things and I'm like well what's good what's like it....he says it's one of a kind nothings really like it that's a bad answer I say what about that Buddha bowl is that good as well? He says I don't give my opinion I don't know you..... I looked at him I said dude I mean this is your business for god sake's sell me something please sell me, tell me somethings wonderful he did not wanna engage in any kind of conversation I'm there I am your audience I said to him sir do your job tell me something is great I'm a nice looking guy with a smile I'm overweight so I obviously like to eat tell me the desserts are good they're all freshly made give me something, one guy eating in the corner 10 Empty tables. show me some love for God sakes I don't mind paying $18 for a box of food but show me some love show me you care that I'm here or say welcome back I saw you yesterday something anything please I'm begging you. now I got the food I took it home it was good I'm gonna put the description in this review , I would plan to make this a go to place once a week maybe three times a month I'm in Palm Springs there's an awful lot of good places but if they don't have soul I don't want to go I don't wanna waste my money in a place that doesn't seem care if I'm there maybe you could sayI hope to see you again thank you for coming but no nothing and it wasn't much better the day before the lady took my order she walked into the back where the kitchen is and she never came back until the food was ready and then she brought it to me nobody is in the restaurant make some chitchat eye Contact , a smile..... I also noticed that they don't seem to respond to any of these reviews and they have a Lotta reviews for the last few years but it seems that they don't look at them or they don't care...
