Ordered the food delivery and was really excited for some meat and three. The food arrived early and looked really good but unfortunately that's about the extent of the positive. We tried the liver and onions as well as the roast beef. The meats were okay but the roast beef was a little tough. The gravy as well as the mashed potatoes has clumps. You could tell it was all made from instant and wasn't event blended properly. The slaw and potato salad was cheap store bought and the pintos were not edible. I threw all of them out. Met a friend here today for breakfast. No nonsense, aged, but clean restaurant. Friendly, efficient staff. I ordered milk and water and Mike ordered coffee and water. The drinks were brought out in a timely manner. The server gave us time to study the menu. Mike ordered the veggie omelette, with hash browns, and biscuits. I ordered the two eggs, hash browns, biscuit and gravy, with bacon. She brought butter and jelly without us having to request them. The hash browns appeared to be frozen rectangles like at a fast food place. The biscuits were at room temp. Butter doesn't melt so well when not warm. All the food was tasty. The restaurant and bathrooms were reasonably clean but just run down and poorly maintained. The breakfast special sounded like a good deal at $6.99. Two eggs, bacon or sausage, grits or gravy, toast or biscuits, and your choice of drink. The waitress said the Grits were only okay and the gravy was better so we did not try the grits. This was the worst breakfast I've ever seen land on a plate. The "home fried potatoes " were gross, the sausage patties obviously went from freezer to microwave. I ordered food to-go, and was unfortunately very disappointed. The mashed potatoes were terrible and had no flavor. They tasted like instant mashed potatoes. The Mac and cheese was also very bland and not cheesy . The hamburger steak was edible. Also, the roll I was given was hard. Sadly I'd have to say this was worse than cafeteria food. Found this lil place after doing a quick google search. Definition of a "hole in the wall, greasy spoon". Wasn't so sure at first but let me tell ya....probably one of the best omelets I've ever had. I got the gyro & cheese omelet...without the onions & green peppers. I added hash browns (& it came w/ toast). The omelet was huge...stuffed full of meat...which was awesome. The hash browns were in the patty form. Although it was good...I feel they could include it was part of omelet meal (w/ the toast) in stead of charging extra to add. Under New Ownership !! Is not always a good thing ! Stopped in after church and noticed they are renovating , half the area is closed off and the other half has tables back to back with almost no room to move. This place has been known for years for serving Breakfast till 2pm on Sundays , well not anymore , they stop at 11 now. The place smelled of paint and the floors were sticky and nasty. The (owner) was worthless and only wanted to collect money. There was only 1 waitress who was trying her best to take orders and serve , we stood waiting for 10 minutes for a table to be cleaned off while the new owner stood behind the partition looking at us. The only time I saw him do anything was to collect money , the poor waitress kept asking him for help and he never did. My wife and daughter decided to each lunch since we were there and I did not as my heart was set on breakfast. While we were sitting there waiting for there orders I noticed that people who ordered after us were getting there orders before us! Not good, my wife and daughters orders finally came. While they were eating and us caring on conversation I counted 7 people come in and leave cause they no longer serve breakfast till 2. I understand people wanting to live the american dream , but don't by your dream and change everything about it. Keep what works and get rid of what doesn't. The breakfast worked and worked well. I'm sure my wife and child will probably go back ,but for me I won't . I cant frequent a place that the owners don't get involved to help but only sit back and watch. read more

The Philly cheese steak is good. Nothing elaborate but the service is also good and the prices are reasonable. The best part is the freshly brewed bottomless coffee. They serve it with a creamer but if you prefer, you can ask for half and half. My friend brings all his couch surfers here. The other patrons seemed a happy bunch of regulars, finished with their lunch and chatting. I waited a bit long for someone to request my drink order. Then I was ignored for five minutes, at which point i decided this would be my first and last time here unless the food was amazing. Sadly, they continued to ignore me a few minutes more, until I got up, took my coat and left... at which point they continued to ignore me. I left a penny tip for absolutely nothing. However, my favorite Uber Eats meat 'n three Restaurant was closed and I was really wanting something other than a pizza or sandwich. Since this restaurant is very close to me, I decided to give it a try and I'm glad I did. Uber Eats delivered my order in under 20 minutes. It was packed well and hot. I got a pork chop with green beans, pinto beans and okra. The pork chop was large with plenty of meat and was quite good. The veggies were all well seasoned and also tasty. Well i order from Uber eats at like 6:30 at night hoping to get a great dinner from here It didn't go as well they call and tell me that they were out of mashed potato i was ok with that.... then when the diver for Eats shows up he tells me to cancel the order they gave him the wrong food and they knew that they gave the wrong food to him instead of them canceling the order on their side they send just what ever was sitting around the food looked like something that had been sitting all day on the counter I could not Believe my eyes. then i try and call them to ask what happened before they closed No answer. I attempted to eat here today for the first time in many years. I won't make that mistake again! The food was not fresh and not good. The bigger problem was the floor. It was so sticky that I stepped out of my shoes no less than six times. My shoes literally stuck to the very sticky floor. Obviously, mopping is not a regular occurrence. If the floor is that filthy, how dirty is what we don't see, namely the kitchen. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. It doesn't deserve even one star! read more
