    Eggs, Biscuits/gravy and bacon.

This place is exactly what you need it to be: greasy-spoon local diner with genuinely friendly, hard-working staff and quick service. Bacon and biscuits were delicious and over medium eggs cooked to a T. Extremely reasonable prices.

Cute local restaurant with checkered table cloths and yummy homemade food. Our waitress was super sweet and everyone had a smile. Everything here is from the 90's including the massive television in the dining room. If you're in the mood for hamburger steak, fried chicken and chicken fried steak this is your place!!

I had a good experience with this restaurant, food was good and hot. Also the service was great, only thing that stops me from giving 5 stars is that the building is kind of old and worn down, they should invest in a renovation, but overall a really good restaurant.

Breakfast special of eggs, sausage or bacon, hash browns or home fries, biscuits or toast. Nothing was bad.

Madison Family Restaurant is in an older strip mall that's a little rundown on the outside. Inside, we found friendly service and low prices but only borderline decent food. The restaurant and bathrooms were reasonably clean but just run down and poorly maintained. The breakfast special sounded like a good deal at $6.99. Two eggs, bacon or sausage, grits or gravy, toast or biscuits, and your choice of drink. The waitress said the Grits were only okay and the gravy was better so we did not try the grits. Nothing was bad but nothing was really impressive. I'm not sorry we stopped here for breakfast but it just wasn't good enough for us to go back.

Breakfast with eggs and country fried steak. Super yummy!!

I have met this restaurant because of COVID. I am glad I did. If you need comfort food; here is your spot. I inhaled the home style potatoes and gravy like I was eating chips and dip... breakfast is great. I have had dinner as well. Just as yummy!! Thanks MFR!!

Breakfast plate with sausage, hash browns and cheese grits.

Solid, old school diner. The environment isn't much to write home about but the food is good and the ladies who work there are very kind. Haven't tried everything yet but we live their breakfast and their pot roast and mashed potatoes are good!

We enjoyed the outdoor patio for about 2 1/2 hours while catching up & having some drinks. I had two of the Oh Iris cocktail which was so refreshing. For food we shared some whipped feta & I had the Milanese sandwhich. It was a big portion & overall very good. Made for a great leftover lunch the next day. The fries here have a lot of hype & definitely some of the best in town. Would it hesitate to come back!

It's cute and divey, with an expansive patio that is always packed on a beautiful day. My husband and I stopped in right after a rainstorm around 2 PM, which is probably why the bar wasn't too busy! We ordered some drinks and a late lunch as well. I went with the Steak Pita, which was massive and stuffed full of meat, cheese, greens, and two tasty sauces. Crispy sweet potatoes were served on the side. Honestly the pita and the sauces were my favorite part of this meal. The steak was flavorful but a bit chewy. However, my husband ordered the Chopped Cheese and it was delicious! Also stuffed full of mix-ins, and with a bit of Greek-inspired flavor. The seasoned fries on the side were also tasty. I'm sure we'll be back soon to take advantage of their awesome happy hour deals. And judging by other reviews, it sounds like I need to try their falafel!

The bar has two hidden TVs that you can only see when you sit at the bar, which is such a cool touch. It keeps the space feeling upscale without sacrificing the ability to catch a game. The overall ambiance is great, and the music is always at the perfect volume for an easy conversation. The drinks have been consistently excellent. We've tried both cocktails and wine, and everything has been delicious. The wine is a little overpriced in our opinion, but it was so good that I'm glad we still ordered it! On our most recent visit, we started with the burrata. It was very good, but I do wish there had been more sauce and more cantaloupe. The sauce felt more like an accent than something that really tied the dish together. That said, the perfect bite was definitely the burrata with the prosciutto and cantaloupe! For our entrees, Jonathan ordered the pork chop, and I had the piri piri chicken. Both came with broccolini and patatas bravas. I was expecting traditional Spanish-style patatas bravas, so when whole baby potatoes showed up, I was initially a little disappointed. Don't let that fool you, though--these potatoes were incredible!!! Crispy on the outside, perfectly cooked on the inside, and packed with flavor! They ended up being one of my favorite parts of the meal! My piri piri chicken was fantastic! The portion was much larger than I expected, and the piri piri sauce served on the side was absolutely lick-the-plate good. I found myself dipping the potatoes and broccolini in it because it was just that delicious. Piri piri isn't something you come across often in Nashville, and The Finch absolutely nails it--and at a really reasonable price. Jonathan's pork chop was cooked perfectly with great flavor. It wasn't an over-the-top, show-stopping dish, but for around $30--including both sides--at a more upscale restaurant, it's hard to beat the value. One more recommendation: get the volcano rock shrimp. We had it on a previous visit, and we still talk about it! It's easily one of our favorite dishes we've had here. The Finch has been consistently good every time we've visited, and that's what keeps bringing us back! Great food, great drinks, a fun atmosphere, and solid value for the quality. We'll definitely be back again!

I really liked the decor, the space was very pretty and had a great atmosphere. I ordered the blackened redfish. It felt very heavily seasoned , almost like the seasoning was the main flavor, and I couldn't really taste anything else. The seasoning was delicious, but I would have liked to experience more of the actual dish and ingredients. The sauce was good, and the mashed potatoes underneath were a nice touch. Service was okay, although I would have appreciated being checked on a little more often. I also asked for a cup of sparkling water but received and was charged for a large bottle, even though I was dining alone.
