Popeye omelet with added carne asada

The food was good and service was okay. 3 stars for decaf coffee being $4.25 and non-refillable, like what in the world is that. Especially for a "brunch" place. It's cute, one of those trendy brunch spots.

My friend said this brunch spot looked best out of all the others in the area, and she was so right! She had the Madres Chilaquiles and strawberry horchata; she said it was spicier than she expected (not in a bad way) and that she liked the strawberry flavoring in the horchata because it wasn't a purée! I had the benedict and the white mocha latte; the cilantro dressing was so addicting and the muffin was very unique and flavorful! Everything was amazing! The interior was gorgeous!! There's skylights that illuminate the room and brighten the dining area. The walls are decorated with many pink neon signs with cute phrasing! Plenty of photo opps! Service was wonderful, our waiter helped us immediately and our food was ready and delivered to our table within 10 minutes despite the busy atmosphere I will comment that the wait was much longer than stated on the Yelp page. It was pretty standard for Sunday brunch (a little over 1 hr) buuut the Yelp waitlist told us 20-30 minutes and then updated another half hour, which we were called even later than that. Did not affect my rating, just be wary to enroll earlier than the "anticipated" time

Really wanted to love this place. We came pretty early so we got seated right away. We ordered a regular omelette and the divorciados. My husbands food was hot and fresh but mine was lukewarm at best. Nothing on my plate was hot whatsoever. It was decent nonetheless. I did ask for my potato without sour cream but when it arrived at the table, it had sour cream. Service was good.

My daughter and I decided to go have brunch at this new place that we had heard of if we're able to find a parking it was pretty busy. We waited about 15 minutes and we were called in and seated. It was very packed so we were sitting closest to the door. Our waitress is very kind and sweet. Got us our drinks and we placed our orders. Everything was very Instagram worthy really cute presentation. The food was really good. The vibe in there was great. We had a good time.

Came for Father's Day breakfast. Surprised how quick we were sat but then again it's two of us. The restaurant is decorated cute and server was nice. Took a while to get our food. Not sure if cause they were busy or just takes a while to get served. Overall food was delish. Had cafe de olla which was good and worth trying. Enjoy!

I got the gold bowl. Basically it's chopped avocado and salmon. So delicious! Service is good! Cute decor, excepted it's a bit hot inside.

Haven't been to Madres in a while. When we walked in, we were immediately greeted and seated. They took our drink order and food order quickly. Our waitress, Liz was amazing. She checked if they had fresh pozole so I could get an order to go and she was very tentative to us. I even over heard her conversation with the first next to us and she offered to bring the sauces out for them try before committing to ordering their food. I opted for the classic coffee flight iced. All of them were rich and had a bold coffee taste. The Dulce De Leche was by far my favorite. It had a nice balance of sweetness and coffee flavor. I did not order food from their regular menu. I chose to order from their monthly menu online. I went with a unique item, "Hangover Chilaquiles" in their drunk sauce for $23. The drunk sauce is a guajillo pepper and tree chili sauce. It's served with beans from the pot, lamb, panela cheese, pico de gallo, radish, 2 eggs (I ordered over medium), and side of consome. I would order this again. The lamb was slow cooked and tender. The sauce was rich, fill bodied, and not too spicy. I love that they use this tortilla chips because they don't turn soggy with the sauce. The yolk from the over medium eggs brought the dish together nicely. I recommend ordering this if you come this month. Bae ordered the steak and eggs w/ potatoes. The eggs and steak were cooked perfectly but sadly, the steak was extremely under seasoned. It was as of they just grilled it with nothing on it. The potatoes were crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside. The ambiance is hip and trendy. They play music, the experience is a vibe. There's photo ops inside and it's full of artwork. There is options for both and table seating. This place gets busy on the weekends so plan accordingly. They can also accommodate a large party but call ahead to plan.

THE BEST MEXICAN OMELETTE in the IE! Oh my word, I tried Madres' Chilango Omelette with red sauce and oof, it was destiny that I ate it. It's everything you'd imagine and more. Stuffed with red or green chilaquiles, layered over black beans with sour cream, sprinkled panela cheese, topped with red onion and topped with cilantro. Are you on board yet? I also ordered the Chocolata Pancakes. Think chocolate pancakes garnished with strawberry slices, a scoop of chocolate ice cream drizzled with chocolate syrup, and almonds. Ice cream for brunch was an edgy move and it worked! Lastly, I had a abuelita chocolate latte, yes, with THEE iconic chocolate. The latte was delicious, I was surprised I wasn't in a sugar crash afterwards. Overall, I enjoyed the cafe. The neon lights, faux foliage, and Pokémon-esque music had a cute, whimsical feeling. My Mom and I sat near the neon signs at a booth/table. Seating was comfortable and the restaurant was halfway full. Everything was peaceful and we didn't have to wait to be seated. Our host, a guy from the Riverside location was AMAZING! On the other hand our waitress, was a little dismissive of me at the beginning, however she changed her tune by the end of the visit. Note, parking is limited. This Madres location is found in an older shopping plaza with tight spaces and cramped parking slots. Plan accordingly :)

My cousin and I were having a girls day and we wanted to get brunch. We wanted to try something new together and that led us to Madres Brunch. They have a Yelp waitlist available as it gets busy during peak hours. We came early enough that we didn't have to wait, but we saw the restaurant fill up quickly during our time there. To start we got some lattes while we reviewed the menu. My cousin ordered their sugar-free Hazelnut Latte ($7) and I ordered an iced Horchata Latte ($6). My cousin's hot latte was super cute with latte art. I loved that for her. I really enjoyed my horchata latte too. That was my cheat item for the weekend. While we were reviewing the menu I was amused that the Madres Light section wasn't that light at all. I just ordered the Omelette ($14) with sausage, mushrooms and spinach. For my side I opted for the salad. It also came with a piece of toast, and sadly they only have white toast. I wish they had at least wheat or some other healthier option. My cousin ordered their Chilaquiles Verdes ($17) and she loved it. It was already saying she wants to come back already. I did feel like the waiter was trying to churn us to leave as he starts to clear the table. He actually grabbed my plate before I was done and I had to stop him. Ask me with words... not your hands please. We were actually still finishing up our coffee too. Their manager, Darren, was much more positive. He came by and asked if we enjoyed our meal and welcomed us back in the future.

Came on a holiday Monday around 11am today and there was about a 35 minute wait, ample parking with some chairs to wait outside. Cesar was our nice server, they were very busy but he was still attentive to our needs. We ordered their regular coffee flight which had a standard four coffees of perfect size and we were able to substitute the milk for soy which we really appreciated (they also have oat, almond, lactose free I believe!). For food, we ordered the Ensenada seafood omelette and the madre's chilequiles. The omelette was packed with pieces of crab, squid, shrimp, but is quite a heavy dish in terms of the cheese sauce. Very savory but matched well the salad and the small baked potato on the side. Our potato was a little dry around the edges but not bad. We enjoyed the chilequiles a lot, it was the perfect amount of spice for us (but you can always add more), and had a beautiful portion of birria and the fried tortilla which was seasoned great and still somehow maintained a crisp to it. The consome you can pour on top was delicious. Overall a solid brunch experience with great staff during a rush hour.

Food: Excellent! We shared the Manhattan French toast, and then had the birria omelette, the chilonga and the Chilaquiles Rojas. My husband ordered the pistachio latte and loved it. Over all, each one of us enjoyed our meals immensely, and immediately knew why this was a hot spot. Service: The service was good. I'm happy that I noticed that there was a Yelp waitlist and did it before I left home. It was a little busier when we got there so we had to wait an extra 10 minutes, but that was certainly better than having to wait 30 minutes there on an early Sunday afternoon. Our food came in a pretty timely manner and we didn't wait an excessive time to order. Ambiance: a lil loud but definitely a nice vibe. On the outside, the decor is in pink which almost led my son to think that this could not be the spot I chose. Once inside, I liked the greenery and the murals. Parking: relatively easy. Might need to go to the back to find some but there were lots. Other: Good variety of people there telling me it's really good.

Loved the atmosphere as soon as I walked in! Came for a solo mimosa breakfast before a busy day. There were so many options and everything looked and sounded great! I settled on the mimosa flight and the avocado toast sampler. Both were amazing. Mimosa bubbly to juice ratio was just right, and all three toasts were fire! I especially appreciate that they used a nice sized thicker cut of salmon for the salmon avocado toast. Those salsas are also 10 outa 10! The orange one has me in a chokehold bc now I need that! The service was great- quick, friendly, and on point. Also the prices weren't bad at all! The portions are huge! French toast is as big as a literal brick

    Cafe de Olla

My favorite chilaquiles in Rancho!! I get the same thing every time with a cafe de olla on the side and it just really does something for me. The beans on the bottom are sooo good. It can get pretty crowded but honestly I've never had to wait longer than 5 minutes for a table. Also every server we've had has been so friendly!

From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed by the sweetest hostess at the front. I wish I remembered her name because she deserves a shout-out! She was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to accommodate our request for a table right next to the DJ. That little gesture made a huge difference and really kicked off the night on the right note. Our server, Lex, was amazing! She was attentive, friendly, and kept checking on us throughout the night, even with how busy it was. Excellent service like hers is one of the reasons we'll definitely be back. The DJ was absolutely FIRE! We went on 90s/2000s Night, and every song had people singing and dancing. The energy was nonstop, and it was the perfect soundtrack for a birthday celebration. The food and drinks were exactly what we wanted for a night out. We enjoyed Pineapple Express cocktails, Jack Daniels, Palomas, Mexican Candy shots, Green Tea shots (because... birthday! ), Lagunitas drafts, mozzarella sticks, chips with guac and salsa, and chili cheese fries. Everything came out fresh, and the drinks were great. One thing I thought was really cool was that they did raffle giveaways throughout the night. We actually won a karaoke machine, which was such a fun surprise and made the birthday celebration even more memorable! The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the restrooms. Unfortunately, they were in pretty rough shape. There was toilet paper all over the floor, one toilet was broken, water was leaking from the ceiling, only one soap dispenser had soap, and the whole bathroom smelled like a sewer. It was the only part of the night that didn't match the otherwise great experience. Overall, Punch Bowl Social is a fantastic spot for birthdays, celebrations, drinks, music, and a fun night out with friends. Great staff, an amazing DJ, fun surprises like raffles, and an atmosphere that keeps the party going. If management gives the restrooms some much-needed attention, this place would easily earn five stars from me. We'll definitely be back!
