I have only been to Maggiano's twice. Once on Mother's Day, and once with my whole family (10 people) for a birthday brunch/lunch. Both times we have had a reservation, and a great experience. I have only ordered off of the brunch menu, but I have tasted other dishes that my family members have ordered. The food is absolutely delicious! My husband likes to get the buy one, take one meal because it's two meals for a great price and he gets to eat different things. I HIGHLY recommend the crab cake Benedict (brunch) and the eggplant Parmesan. The second time we went, we were celebrating both of my grandparents birthdays. They brought them both a plate of delicious lemon cookies after the meal. When we went for Mother's Day, there was an issue with our reservation. The lady that took the reservation had put it in for the wrong day. The manager quickly found us a table, and apologized for the mix up. We didn't have to wait longer than 5 minutes either time we've gone. The parking sucks, but that's because the mall is always busy. They do have valet, but we've never used it. All in all, I will gladly return to Maggiano's. read more

Where to start! Our waiter was absolutely amazing and created a great experience for our 1st time visiting. I'm disappointed we didn't get his name so we can ask for him again. We ordered the Marcos(?) meal for 2 so you get an appetizer or 2 salads, 2 meals, dessert, and 2 meals to take home for $43.99 a deal if I've heard of one. I ordered the lighter side Chicken Parmesan and it was absolutely amazing, perfect portion size, and came out to perfection. My GF ordered the 4 cheese Ravioli which was more than she could eat. I've been wanting to check this place out since they opened. I had heard so many good things about it. I guess maybe I had high expectations so we were a bit disappointed. We went there yesterday to celebrate my mom and sister's birthdays. We had to wait awhile for the larger table to finish up. They were having dessert when we arrived. They took their time cleaning off the table. It seemed like it took over 30 minutes for us to get seated, if not more. My boyfriend and I had time to go to the bar and order two drinks, drink them and then stand around for a good 20+ minutes. Their menu was pretty small in my opinion. I decided to try the Lasagna and for my take-home meal, I ordered the Baked Ziti (which I haven't tried yet). The lasagna was OK but nothing incredible. I wish I had ordered another dish, something with a cream sauce. But it was my first time there so I wasn't sure what dish to try. My boyfriend ordered the Chicken Parmesan and he wasn't a big fan either. The chicken itself didn't taste that fresh and the pasta was nothing special at all. He said he could make better pasta at home. Sorry! We did love the fresh, warm bread and the olive oil dipping sauce. I was already full from the bread before my food was served. Everyone went crazy over the bread. We had to keep asking for more. Our server was very lovely. Her name was Brittany. She was very polite and friendly. No complaints there. Thank you Brittany! :) The complimentary fresh lemon cookies were delish too! My other sister ordered the half Chicken Parmesan sandwich with a Caesar salad lunch combo. She didn't really like the sandwich or the wedge fries. She said the fries didn't taste seasoned at all. And the sandwich was dry. The salad looked good though and she did seem to enjoy it. I feel like their food was over-priced for what we received. It wasn't bad. It just wasn't as good as we had anticipated. Now, the Tiramisu dessert was fabulous! My sister ordered it and I tried a bite. OMG, yum!! It was worth the $8 price tag. I think I'd be willing to come back and give them another chance. Perhaps, I should have ordered something else. Whatever my sister ordered was really good. It was some kind of lemon chicken with argula I think. I will probably have a hard time talking my boyfriend into going back. Came in on a Saturday night & the service was great! We didn't have a reservation so we were lucky to have found a table in the cocktail area which was perfect! Our waitress was very polite & was very familiar with the menu. She gave great suggestions for each of us & we all enjoyed our entrees. If you're in a party of 2 I suggest their "meal deal" they offer an appetizer, 2 entrees, & dessert for like $42. But, you get to take 2 additional entrees home for later. You seem to get more for your money this way! Order the fried mozzarella, they're huge! & you won't be disappointed! & if you're a sangria person, Try the seasonal sangria. Birthday Lunch! My first impression was this place is like a high-scale Olive Garden. Environment: Absolutely warm and welcoming. Very comfortable. Food: I've got to tell you, it's best not to watch your calories coming here. Ordered the Fettuccine alfredo with shrimp. Calorie count is a shy 1600. There wasn't a lot of shrimp for an extra $4. Delicious and creamy for sure. Make sure to dip the bread in the alfredo! The Bar tour bites is deliciously packed with different unique flavors. Would recommend for appetizers. Cheesecake was rich and creamy. Not too sweet but good enough for double dipping the sauce. Service: Excellent. Gio was awesome. He explained what specials they have and broke down what the most popular items are on the menu. Overall, great experience and would definitely recommend. We have sampled 4 or 5 Maggiano entrees by having DoorDash run the hot food directly to our waiting home. We love their food. We gave up on another national Italian Food franchise, the one with Olive in their name, to get the real thing from Maggiano's. Try it! Five stars! read more

Highly recommend this place - great service (Javier was amazing recommended great dishes) -portions were great for the price -Pasta for two (comes with appetizer, 2 main dishes, 2 classic pasta dishes to go, and a desert) - House famous Rigatoni "D" I have never ate at a Maggiano's till last week. I just so happened to stumble across it while visiting the area. Let me tell you, this place is absolutely amazing. At first I was hesitant because of the prices (I'm a grad student so money is a little tight atm) but thiS place is totally worth every penny. They have a pasta dinner for two that was perfect for my girlfriend and I to enjoy. If you are wondering what to get, honestly everything we got was amazing but the House rigatoni "D" is probably one of the best things I've ever tasted in my life. I highly recommend this dish. For desert I had Gigi's butter cake. It was perfect for my girlfriend who isn't a huge sweets fan or a fan of chocolate. It had just the right amount of sweetness and tasted amazing. We spent around 65$ when it was all said and done, but we walked out with about 5 meals in our to go bag. read more

This is a solid go-to for Italian. I love their mom's lasagna. I also really enjoy their fried zucchini, but keep it in check if you want something from the lite menu, try the decadent their 'lighter fare' Shrimp Fra Diavolo, only has like 370 calories for the whole dish. After I was done, I was convinced they sent the wrong dish, lol. I asked the waiter again if it was the correct dish because it was SOOOOO GOOD. How can food like that be lite? For dessert, I love their Creme brûlée :) very good. Only reason they don't get 5 stars is that the service is not always great, I will deal with it for the food, but meh. I had such an amazing experience at Maggianos last night. My boyfriend had flown in for Christmas to surprise me and we spent his last night in town enjoying each other's company. He had never been to Maggianos but I had gone several times back home in Michigan. I love the Today and Tomorrow option. I ordered the Taylor baked ziti and my boyfriend got the beef al forno. Let's just say I ended up taking his plate lol. Both were great. Lol Either way, the service was awesome, our food was fantastic and we had an amazing date. We went to Maggiano's in Clear Lake to celebrate my husband's birthday. There were 9 of us. They didn't serve brunch. We arrived at 11:30 and they were out of calamari and out of chocolate cake. 8 of us were eating family style and one was having soup for her meal. She never got her soup. We complained to the manager and he said that he would adjust the bill well he didn't plus the bill charged us for the soup that we didn't get. After complaining again he did take $100 off, but it was a hassle. And they were incredibly slow. It will be awhile before we go back if we go back. read more

I wish to give a particular shout out to our server Andre who served us 01/09/2020 at table 14/1 around 6:00 pm. He was sincerely interested in what we wished to drink and eat. Had a nice luncheon with my extended family at Maggiano's Baybrook location on Saturday. We made a reservation on a mid-Saturday just to make sure we could get a table for that many people without having to wait forever. As it turned out, we probably would not have needed it but it was nice to have the table ready when we arrived at 2:30 PM. Many of their items have a lunch portion available if you are looking for smaller portions. If I'm not mistaken, lunch portions are served until 4PM. You probably want to double-check that statement but I do recall them being served well past the noon rush. We started our meal with the margherita flatbread. It is a toasted flatbread with mozzarella, tomatoes, and basil. I'm a fan of this starter. For our main course we chose to split the Shrimp Fra Diavolo. It is fresh fettuccine that has pan-seared shrimp mixed w/garlic, tomatoes, and diavolo sauce. For lack of a better way to explain it, the sauce is a mix of the cream sauce and red sauce. It was quite tasty and we would really like to order it again. It seamed that our party ordered a wide range of menu items and everyone seemed to enjoy their food. Our waiter did a superb job of taking care of us. He was the type of waiter you always want at a restaurant: One that is always around when you need him but not so in your face that it is annoying. This was our 1st visit to a Maggianos Little Italy. Brinker perfectly picked out a location for this restaurant. It's in the new Baybrook Mall expansion. Now the rating I am giving is subject to change. I would have possibly given a 5 but the service downgraded their score to a 3. We get there close to 5:30 pm and we are told it will be close to an hour wait, we saw people eating on the patio so asked about that and they said it will be 45 mins. The hostess gets my mobile number and they text when table is ready. This is good because who wants to be congregated into a small waiting area? We ended waiting just outside so our daughter could play a little outside in the grassy area. Our wait ended up only being about 35 mins. We get back to host stand and it's another 5 minutes, I'm thinking to myself oh oh here we go. Finally we get sat outside and get menus and probably expect to get greeted within a min or two for drink and appetizer order. Nope didn't happen, I am starting to boil when it almost becomes 15 mins before that happens. I believe the hostess sat us in a section that wasn't assigned to anyone because we did observe around 4 waitstaff working outside. My wife didn't allow me to voice my displeasure so I suddenly cooled off. Now their menu is not expansive which is good. It was an easy choice for us to select the Chef Marco dinner for two option and kid macaroni for our daughter. The dinner for two comes with an appetizer or two salads, a classic pasta entree and your choice of one dessert to share. I would like to note mon-fri from 3-7 is happy hour throughout the restaurant, I am not usually thrilled to order alcohol and apps at regular prices but being happy hour was an easy decision for me. You can get a Stella Artois on draft for 3 bucks and a flatbread for $4! This was in addition to the spinach artichoke dip we were already getting. Everything was delicious. Lasagna was nice with the addition of Italian Sausage in it and my wife's ravioli with mushrooms was great. And the nice thing about the macaroni is that is was made with rigatoni! Definitely very cheesy how our daughter likes. To top things off I forgot to mention built into the price of Chef Marcos dinner for two you get to take 2 classic pastas home for a meal the next day. All of this is had for $39.99 plus the $2 upgrade for moms lasagna if you choose to. The dessert menu choices all looked good was going to go with old reliable Tiramisu but opted for the Butter Cake. It wasn't just any old cake but it was beyond that in flavor, size and presentation. It kind of reminded me of a funnel cake but in a round pound cake form garnished with sweet Italian creme and dates! I think all should come to Maggianos for a great meal at an affordable price. Just be weary of the service. I imagine it's due to the greenness of the employees that work here. Hopefully they will learn and improve by our next visit. read more

I think Maggiano's could have earned an extra star, had they followed my request to go easy on the lemon herb sauce/butter. They did not. Nonetheless, I was starving, as always and gobbled it up. Came here on a training night before the grand opening and was very pleased with the experience. The decor and ambience is a step above any of the usual Italian restaurants and the menu covers a good variety of dishes. Lasagna and Chicken Francese were the dinner standouts at our table. I definitely recommend those, while the Fettuccine Alfredo and Caesar Salad were predictable and stable (not much you can do with those). Tiramisu and Cheesecake were also well above my expectations. Maggiano's claims to make all their food daily from scratch, and the quality is definitely there. She then allowed me eat in peace before checking on me and clearing away empty dishes and offering a refill of my drink. The food was delicious, but the service made the trip a winner for me. This was the worst experience I've ever had at a restaurant! My dad got me a birthday card and left $50 dollars in the card. I walked to my car and noticed I left my bday card. I notified my server, she went through the trash and found the envelope and the birthday card but my money was no where to be found. I spoke with the manger CJ prim, he was NO Help at all! He told me he trusted his team and they don't steal. It didn't seem to be concerned AT all! Nor did he try to get to the bottom of my missing bday card. He spoke with busser he claimed and the money was still no where to be found! These people steal! Please don't eat here! The food sucks too! Celebrated two years with my boyfriend here and it was the most magical night. It definitely was a bit packed (thank god for making a reservation the night before), so we had a bit of a wait at the beginning, but the staff was so very accommodating to us. Our waiter was attentive the rest of the night, offered us some recommendations since my boyfriend had never visited before, and we got a lovely tray of mini dessert sizes at no cost. I was actually pretty satisfied with the food and service! My wife and I had the zucchini fritte as an appetizer and we asked to get it extra crispy, trust me you have to do it. The entrees were not that bad, we went the pasta route. Nothing too special just an average pasta. The desert we chose was the tiramisu and it was the perfect dessert to a heavy meal. Light, and delicious and absolutely amazing. Our server was also great, unfortunately we did get sick the next few days and my wife also got food poisoning. Excellent Customer Service! The hostess greeted us kindly as soon as we walked in and sat us instantly. The waitress Lauren was very attentive and didn't miss a beat. Refills and bread were always in reach. We had some questions regarding the menu and she was able to explain and recommend great choices. The pricing is a little steep but most meals do give you on for the road or next day so it evened out. It was also a little dim inside but I guess it's just part of the ambiance.
