I really wanted to love this place because the service was truly excellent. If I were reviewing on service alone, this would easily be 5 stars. The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. Unfortunately, the pizza itself just didn't live up to that experience. I can honestly say this is the first time I've ever had bad pizza. The crust was extremely dry and hard, and the bottom was burnt, which likely explains why the crust felt brick-hard. Normally, we even enjoy pizza cold the next day--but this has been sitting in the fridge for two days untouched, which says a lot. I really wish we could have liked it because the people were wonderful, but sadly, the pizza just missed the mark. read more

She also told me they made fheir dressings from scratch. It sure DIDN'T taste like it! The pizza crust was stiff and reminded me of frozen crust. The dressings were nothing to write home about. Also got my husband's favorite with pineapple, pepperoni, and jalapeno... delicious! Pizza is thick and super filling. The pizza crust is a big issue - not thin crust NY style, not deep dish ... about what you get with any of cheap chains - like Dominos, puzza hut, Little Caesars. Like bread but not even chewy. All three pizzas were mediocre - my adult foodie daughter remarked it was like bowling alley pizza. Despite half of the pizzas remaining, they refused to take it home. The meatball sandwich - nice amount of melted provolone, "meat sauce" tasted like marinara, meatballs mushy, meh. My wife had the pesto chicken artichoke pasta which I tasted. It was very dry, pesto sauce mediocre. The adults ranked the food 5-6/10. Service from the owner at the ordering station and from the teens serving the food was good. Improvement? I came here for a group work lunch with some locals, and was delightfully surprised. We were well taken care of by the staff and management. I ordered the House calzone (pepperoni, italian sausage, mushrooms, green bell peppers, red onions, black olives & cheese) along with a side caesar salad. Both were delicious and made fresh in house. Everything was right on point: dough, sauce, toppings (inside), and delivered at the right temperature. My salad wasn't "over dressed", which I appreciate. These items were big enough to share so I took half of each to go. Soft drinks and tea are bottomless refills, and I was also able to take my tea to go. The waitresses here act as if customers are an inconvenience rather than the reason they have jobs. Here's what happened: I went to get some water from the dispenser, where there was only one plastic cup left. Naturally, I used it. Minutes later, a waitress (the blonde) approached me and rudely snapped, "You weren't supposed to touch that cup! It was ours!" I immediately apologized, but she just walked away without another word. Then, I grabbed a couple of napkins from a nearby table--because, well, I needed napkins. Another waitress (the brunette) barked at me, "Hey, you're not supposed to touch those! We have a sign there for a reason!" Excuse me? A tiny handwritten 4x6 sign that no normal person would even notice? If napkins and plastic items are off-limits, why leave them out in the open? The way your staff treats paying customers is disgraceful. No one should walk into a restaurant and feel like they're being scolded like a child over minor, harmless actions. It's beyond unprofessional--it's flat-out embarrassing! As a repeat customer, this restaurant lost my business for good, and I truly hope you, as the owner, wake up and hire staff who understand the meaning of "hospitality". You'll get a larger than usual sized 12 in. pizza with delicious, crispy crust. Choose a seat in the dining area while you check out the menu then order at the counter. There's a good selection of beer and wine, but no cider at the moment. Counter staff are great under pressure and multi task between phone and in person orders with a smile. Table staff are quick to offer boxes to carry out the leftover pizza you will most likely have at the end of your meal. Tables and floors are clean and in good condition.
