Had a $50 voucher at Maggio's to redeem, so we trekked up there for lunch. Didn't realize that it is quite a ride from Philadelphia, but in the end it was worth it. The restaurant is on SOUTH 2nd St. Pike. Somehow, the GPS only directs you to North 2nd St. Pike, which will get you lost. There is ample parking spaces because it is located in a strip mall. The place is spacious, large, bright and decorated just right. The bathroom is quite large, clean and handicap accessible. The hostess greeted us and seated us immediately. Our server came on cue and got our orders a few minutes after we got seated. There was a wait for our meal, but it was worth the wait. The food was delicious. They don't have a dessert menu because what they do is bring an assortment of dessert selection to your table and you choose which one you want. This past weekend we had my daughters Sweet 16 at Maggios in there Ballroom. I had over 110 people so it was no small event. Better was the coordinator who helped me plan it all. I can not express enough how pleased I was with the entire process. Bette was a pleasure to work with! The room was beyond gorgeous! Food was excellent all the way around. I originally looked at several places (VFW halls catering hall etc) thinking it would be cheaper, and not one other place came close to what maggios offered with a better price! I had appetizers, 2 separate ( different food ) buffets , dessert buffet and ice cream sundae station. And unlimited soda included where as everywhere else I looked was charging up to 7.00 extra per person because of the sugar tax! I highly recommend maggios for a party. I have yet to have a bad meal here. I've been at "the Mag" for quite a few meals including breakfast, lunch, and dinner. That waitstaff is always very cordial and speedy. I normally go with one of their omelettes or the breakfast pizza for breakfast. And for lunch or dinner, you cannot go wrong with a El Greco burger or one of their sandwiches. My wife typically goes with a salad and she really enjoys them as well as their entrees. Great place! read more

I have been to this restaurant several times in my life. Although, I don't know why... First, the menu's feel filthy dirty, not a great feeling when you first sit down....eww...the food is just ok and overpriced . I in the past have worked in the meat and food business and I am not quite sure you are getting exactly what you are ordering. For example, the fish dishes and especially the veal...sometimes I think it is the other "white meat". I don't think I will be going back again. I had my wedding at the Maggio's Ballroom a couple of weeks ago. I am very much a planner and a worry wart. They were more then accommodating and answered all of my crazy questions very nicely. My only regret is that I wish I would not have worried so much, the reception was more beautiful than I imagined. The food was amazing,and was presented wonderfully. They made a signature drink for the wedding too, a wedding cake martini, which is soo good. Even my new husband who is a beer drinker, was loving this drink. Everything went perfect! My guests were blown away. I have relatives that live not so close and they were planning (at my wedding, lol) coming back and trying the restaurant. I'm now such a huge fan of this place. Delicious New England clamp chowder, definitely suggest getting it if available. Online ordering now available for those that prefer less of a wait. Had diner in ballroom for Rosh Hashana. The food was mediocre but they made up for it with horrible service. Wrong meal was given to 4 people on a table for 10. 2 meals cold. Bought back the 2 meals and they were cold again. Tried for a third time and it was room temperature. When someone came over later to ask how the meal was I told them the above. It was explained to me prime rib medium rare comes cold...ok Get the check and of course the obligatory 18 percent tip is included. I go into the main restaurant and asked to talk to the manager. Guess who the manager was, the woman who told me that medium rare prime rib is going to be served cold.. At that point I told her I can see why your wait staff sucks. It comes from their manager. Then some guy who looks like a slob with untucked shirt and hair that has not been combed tells me he is the owner says sorry for your experience please leave. Well if he is he owner this clearly explains the bad food and horrible service. The BLonde woman I believe is suppose to be a hostess. She seems really miserable about doing her job she does her job but not very nice. The food is so so. The beer selection is good. However I will not go back. I was there when it was not so crowed and sat for 15 mins no one offered me even a glass of water. I left without ordering and will swore I would not go back. I use to go to the old maggios that was in the smaller shopping center past the wendys, it is after the one it is in now. The food was amazing, classic pizza, steaks, pasta. It was a littler smaller but amazing. The resturaunt has expanded itself now, though it is in a gorgous space with a bar and ballroom included, they have focused more on the space then the food itself. Everytime i go i get rather disapointed on my selection. I ordered a garden burger from their a few months ago and it was rock hard, completely uneatable. Was here for the end of happy hour. The bar was hopping! The bartenders were awesome! Tried the Pigs in the blanket drink with maple bourbon and bacon pieces topped with a bacon slice! Have to say it sure was original. I liked it better watered down it was strong!!! We ordered appetizers. Don't get the spinach and artichoke dip, it is not the normal one and we didn't care for it. However, the Perfect onion rings were perfect and so was the Buffalo chicken tenders and Meatball Parm Sliders were terrific! Next time we are getting a table and eating Italian food. read more

My Family and I went to Maggios in Southampton for an afternoon lunch, as we have many of times previous for breakfast. My daughter ordered chicken quesadillas which she didn't like so we ordered her a children's pancake ,Not only was I overcharged for a kid's chocolate chip pancake and to mention that our bill was $100 but when I asked for a small adjustment on the pancakes I was told that they couldn't nor weren't going to do anything not to mention that my wife and I were considering doing my daughter's first communion there which would have been an easy Couple Grand, not only will I not do my daughter's communion there but I'll never return there to eat at this restaurant. Apparently they've gotten way too big for his britches. They also charge way too much for food which is okay, it's nothing to brag about. It's not a mention of the money it's a point of principle because they couldn't do a simple adjustment now they're going to miss out on a couple thousand dollars for a party like I said I guess they just got too big for their britches, so this is what happens when you make too much money and you don't care about your customers anymore. My family and I were looking for a "kid" friendly, Nice eclectic restaurant so I did a google search for "kid friendly restaurants" in the bucks county area. I didn't have to look too extensively as Maggio's was one of the very first. Upon reading the menu and all it had to offer it was definite that we would be going to Maggio's for dinner. Also; they have a lovely story about their beginnings and how they have been in business since 1976. I'm a sucker for a good history behind the menu story. When we pulled into the strip mall I was a bit taken back by the fact that a restaurant had sliding doors as it was something I had never ever seen before (wasn't until today that I learned it was formerly a supermarket... Now that makes sense). We were seated immediately and given a very large extensive menu. My goodness, they had so much we had an extremely hard time choosing. The waitress came to take our drink order, I was please to see they offered flights of wine, an extensive draft beer selection and loads of appealing drinks for the kids. After recieving our drinks we placed the appetizer order, Bam Bam Shrimp, Spinach artichoke dip, Fried Mozz, and Cheese steak rolls (did I mention I had a 14 year old boy with an insatiable appetite?). They were all fantastic!! The adults were please as well as the 14 and 7 year old, the only thing we boxed was the shrimp due to wanting to save room for the meal. The kids ordered basic things stomboli and cheeseburger, my bf ordered the veal parm and I... being a bit of a picky one ordered the Veal francesca that was to come with a tomato gravy but I instead wanted the lemon butter sauce (which was not a problem). Everything was amazing, flavorful, fresh and filling. As this was our first time there and we were already enjoying our experience, after dinner and taking a few minutes to digest, we wanted to see if the desserts were just as wonderful. We ordered the snickers pie, the bourbon pecan pie, and the OMF, Sinfully, decadent flour-less chocolate torte. As all were amazing, the chocolate torte was knock your socks off delicious. What really enjoyed the most was the service, we didn't have to wait for a thing and our requests were always given with a pleasant attitude and a smile. Carly was one of the best servers we have had in quite some time if ever at all. If all their servers are that friendly and attentive, this place should have no problem getting 5 stars consistantly. I ate here a week ago for lunch, and let me tell you as lunch places go-this was excellent. I went with a group of 4 and we had appetizers and a meal- didn't need the apps as the entrees are huge- however we were all hungry. The wings were EXCELLENT- I mean real big and cooked perfect. I also love that they give carrots and celery with the dish as not many places give you carrots. I had a lunch special shrimp salad hoagie and fries for 6.99- It was real big shrimp not doused in mayo- excellent sandwich- The only gripe I might have is that service was a bit slow-It was just the bartender in the bar area where we were seated and had we been in a rush we would have been screwed-but we weren't so it was worth the wait! Went in for a few drinks and to unwind late night. Place seemed more like a strip club than anything else. Bartenders and some guests were encouraging some of the girls there too stand on the bar and do splits on the bar. Besides the legal ramifications of the things witnessed which as a business owner I'd be appalled, it was just not what I expected from that type of place. Had a cheesesteak pizza and fries. Both items were very tasty. The pizza has a sweet sauce on it which I enjoy. I would just prefer that for 17.99 they would put more steak on the pizza. The dessert was a red velvet chocolate chip cookie with a scoop of ice cream. For $8 I found this to be grossly overprice for what it was. Also the dessert would be better if the cookie was thick and not flat on a skillet. The writer was very nice and helpful. Decided to check them out after my neighbor raved about the place. Their menu is extensive covering all of the comfort food and traditional dinners. I viewed it first online saving time once I got there. Went on a Tuesday night and the service was excellent. They have specials four nights a week with good prices. The beer selection is daunting, there's almost nothing that they don't have. To really test the kitchen I ordered a bowl of the clam chowder soup and the Tilapia Francaise. Really good clam chowder is hard to find but they got it right. Not loaded with potatoes, the clams were tender and the chowder was rich & hearty. The Tilapia portion was huge, it's the Francaise (white wine lemon butter sauce) that most restaurants screw up. Maggio's nailed it perfectly with just the right blend of sauce. I just had my husbands 30th at the "Mag Bar" and to say I was disappointed is an understatement. The appetizers were good, however that is about all that was good. This was a surprise party, so when I went to view the bar area to hand in my deposit , Jen had told me the whole bar area would be sectioned off for our party . Also, Sam, had led me to believe this as well. When my family showed up early the day of the party to decorate , a small portion was sectioned off that would accommodate my 50 guests . My family had to lurk around looking for tables in the bar area to reserve. When I told them about Jen telling me this they said a Jenn didn't work there ? When I wrote an email stating I gave my deposit to a Jen, I wasn't corrected and still have the email to prove it . Then who did I give my deposit too!? We had 2 waitresses for 50 people , service was extremely slow . One of which was extremely rude to my sisters . Also, trying to get my sister to pay for $20 wristband for soda when I told soda was included . I was also told pitchers of soda would be out, included in my package and they were never put out . At the end of the night They had the audacity to ask the honoree of the night for more of a tip. For my first and sadly probably our last experience with maggios is very underwhleming. read more

Pretty much born and raised on Maggios since 1976! The food is always good,the staff is kind of like family as I'm there pretty often. This place offers the best,and I mean THE BEST BBQ sauce around. Love the swirl style pizza,and just about any menu selection makes for a good choice! The bar has stepped up and offers a nice beer selection and all types of nice martinis and cocktails. I was a bit disappointed to see that this place doesn't have 5 stars - because honestly I loved it! I've been a loyal costumer for 2 years now, because never once has it failed me. The staff is friendly and have bend backwards for some of my crazy requests ( for example: even before I went there often, and imagine asking them to sit a group of 12 with no reservation on their busiest night and asking for separate checks!) This is a review of both the restaurant and the ballroom and both get 5 stars! I've been a frequent guest of the restaurant since they were at their old location across the street. I love their food and service. I had been in their ballroom for another affair and selected it for my (second) wedding. I know it's in a strip mall and that may turn some brides off. I get it. But, if you can get past that, and the fact that the restaurant and ballroom have a shared vestibule, then you'll see the ballroom is stunning! Bette McPeak really held my hand and walked me through everything. The service was friendly and the food was fabulous. My husband and I have three kids between us and four additional kids as wedding guests. We had no issues with the treatment or service of any of the kids ranging in age from 5 - 10. Many of my guests approached me to rave about the good food and several told me they were surprised by the grandeur of the ballroom given the outside appearance. Went there for an early Sunday dinner, food is overpriced and mediocre at best. The marinara is very bland and has a canned tomato taste to it. The veal was rubbery, the sauce that's served on the pasta is so thin it doesn't stick to the pasta. The salad was the tastiest part of the meal. Now to be fair we were there for breakfast once and that was good, so we would give breakfast another shot but we will not return for dinner. read more

Last night (5/28/2018) had a delicious BBQ dinner with my family. They were the best ribs that I have had anywhere. The sauce was excellent and it was served with a huge baked potato and soup or salad. The service was top notch. It is a well run family restaurant.
