I did their curbside pickup during these trying times and this restaurant definitely has there act together. The staff are well attended as well as protected. Everything ran smoothly they even double bag everything into large brown paper bags which are then stapled closed. Sign up for the emails to get the daily specials then phone in your order or email it before 2.30 pm then drive up and they ask your name and put the food into your back seat or trunk. You can do credit card or cash. Don't forget to tip after all these young people are putting themselves out there for our protection as well. First time having breakfast here. Large menu and a page full of omelettes. Ordered the Mr Maggio - mushrooms, roasted peppers and provolone cheese. They substituted fruit for potatoes at my request. Used to be my go to place when visiting the old neighborhood. Had dinner there recently with a friend and was very disappointed with the food. Service was great but the food was overpriced for the level of quality. I had Chicken Francaise over Spaghetti. The sauce tasted like an Alfredo Sauce made from a powdered mix you could buy at Costco. My friend had Shrimp Scampi over Spaghetti and it wasn't served in a Scampi Sauce but served with the same sauce used for my Chicken. So Sad. This used to be a great place. read more

We like this restaurant. It has the comfort foods you would find in a local diner or pizzeria but more refined. They run a made-from-scratch kitchen (gravies, dips, sauces, homemade bread, etc.). They have tasty olive oil and really good balsamic vinegar. The prices are reasonable. The bathroom is clean. So far, we have always had good service. Plenty of parking since it is located in a strip mall. Dinner: We have not eaten dinner here yet. Lunch: Delicious sandwiches, our favorite is the 'Balsamic Chicken' Panini' that comes with a mixed green salad and choice of soup. Nice size portion. They have a nice selection of craft, local, imported beer selection (especially bottled beer). Breakfast: When you order coffee they place a nice size pot on your table (good coffee). Every Saturday/Sunday they have a 'order one entree, get the second one for a dollar' special. We like their Omelettes. (they know how to cook a proper egg-white omelette). Stopped for lunch, first time, today (Saturday) with a friend after a meeting. The place is very big with a bar area and a huge dinner type dinning area. There was a nice size crowd - mostly families at lunchtime. Seating was very comfortable and the table sizes were big enough so that you were not cramped. Hostess very friendly and sat us quickly. Waitress was also friendly and very accommodating. Menu was very massive with appetizers to entrees. Steak, Burgers, Seafood and pasta dishes. Need to study the menu to see what you may want; but since it was lunch I went for a good old regular cheeseburger and my friend a sausage, pepper and onion sandwich on a torpedo roll. My burger was cook perfectly to the way I wanted it (medium well). The bun was a soft bun nice and fresh; the importance of a sandwich is always the bread of with my friend said the roll was perfect and the sausage was a combo of sweet and hot. Over all he like it and said it was delisous. Sandwiches on the menu & there were many to choose from come with a nice portion of French fries and and small container of very good cole slaw. On the whole the lunch was very good. The only draw back would be that it did seem to be a wee bit over priced. My burger and fries was a hefty $11.99 and my friends sausage, pepper and onions was $10.99. That being said I would go back to enjoy something else on the menu. We ordered the salmon, meat lasagna and veal parm. We all enjoyed our meals. Service was good also. They were able to accommodate my allergies with the salad when I explained them to the waiter. My only concern (and my fault for not asking) was I ordered key lime pie for dessert knowing I can usually eat this even with my allergies-turns out they dust it with grated nuts and use nuts in the crust. NOT OK for me or others with allergies. Have come to this restaurant a few times for breakfast on the weekends and really enjoyed it. But went for early dinner around 4pm, and was completely unhappy. The server would disappear and wasn't very pleasant. Their prices are pretty high for a local restaurant. Don't order the salmon unless you want what was frozen slab of fish thrown on a grill. It was nasty, dry and unflavorful. It came with what was suppose to be lemon butter sauce but it was curdled. The seasonal veggies were wayyy overcooked. The Caesar salad was just lettuce with dressing on the side. The bread was just a hoagie roll with slices in it. While looking around for our waiter I noticed you can see the kitchen and saw a couple of the cooks eating while cooking...this is totally unacceptable!!! My husband and I typically go to Trivia every Thursday and we wanted to get something to eat in the restaurant before hand. We tried their specials for Winter: The Christmas Cocoa and the Peppermint Kiss. Both were super delicious! I normally add one line to my review about the wait staff; however, I'm devoting most of my comments to the stellar servers at Maggio's. Our group of approximately 30 people met there on a Saturday for lunch. From start to finish the servers gave us 5-star treatment. The best thing, though, was that they gave us separate checks! We did not have the stress of dividing, multiplying tax, tip, etc. I commend the manager for allowing this! All of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals, too! We ordered the bang bang shrimp- very good and flavorful, ribeye steak-cooked nicely, mushroom barley soup-husband loved, Cesar salad-creamy dressing which I love, chicken piccata-really good, however it came with pasta on the side which was dressed in red sauce, so I couldn't use it with the piccata sauce which was a bummer, but it was still really good! There are times when you should just leave a good thing alone... After enjoying a very satisfying visit a couple of months ago, we decided to see what all the fuss was with their claim to an award winning cheesesteak. Well I did anyway, hubby stuck with the same homemade sausage sandwich on their in house made rolls and this time he had them add the provolone, onions and peppers. Maggios now serves breakfast on weekends and they are drawing a nice crowd. As tempting as it sounded I was there for the famous cheesesteak, which I had with provolone and hoagie style. The restaurant is very large with two huge rooms plus a large sports bar and lounge. A man had to have designed the seating, it is one of the most ridiculous arrangements I have ever seen. The main dining room starts with tables and a booth or two, very widely scattered so you do not feel you are dining with the strangers next to you. The second half of this same dining room has two long rows of booths side by side and I do mean two people would have trouble walking the same area without turning sideways. Not to mention servers are carrying trays in this same space. We had already ordered when in walks the most dorky young couple who were engaged to be married. She had the biggest mouth, repeating everything she said twenty times about the stupidest stuff, while he kept quiet and tried to swallow his food. The entire time she is watching us eat and pausing long enough to try to listen in on our conversation. I wanted to grab her by the throat, shake her a little and then explain some etiquette to her, you know, for her own good, she was going to be a bride. If I ever do return to Maggios and I am sure that I will, I will wait before being seated in those two rows of booths again. Our server was very elderly and sweet but her get up and go had got up and went. So slow and poky. Not going back unless kidnapped and forced to return. Not sure how they manage to fill the parking lot so regularly. This is a review of the bar, not the restaurant. The bar is incredibly loud before the DJ starts. Once the DJ sets up, you can forget about having any conversation, even at the top of your lungs. The bar doesn't have much in the way of character or ambience, but it does have a good beer selection. I've only visited once, but in my experience, don't expect the bartenders to know anything about any of the beers. We ordered several (obviously pre-frozen) appetizers, all of which were mediocre. The amount of food is substantial, but the quality is lacking. In general, I think the bar tries to be too many things and, in the end, doesn't succeed at much. read more

Had an "After Christmas Party" catered at our home. They have a great menu for catering with anything from appetizers to sandwiches to dinner options. The ribs and cocktail meatballs were a HUGE hit! The woman who runs the catering was so attentive and helpful and was always in contact with me up to the day. They provide a service for a nominal fee to come and set up. Returning our hot trays was quick and easy. They also supply your plastic cutlery, napkins, and plates that good quality. Will definitely use them in the future! ***EDIT: Changing my rating from 5 to 3 after in dining experience. Stopped in a few times for breakfast and lunch after having such a stellar catering experience. Service is lacking. The older lady at the hostess counter isn't warm and inviting AT ALL; acts like I'm asking for gold coins when seeking a booth. Multiple times i have had to wait for my check while my waitress went MIA. Paid $6 for 2 diet sodas that weren't even refilled being I didn't see my waitress (this has been a consistent theme here). And don't ask for additional Splenda with your coffee or your food made a particular way. They look at you like anything additional from writing your order and bringing it to you is out of their way. Although I confirmed the order an hour and a half at least before delivery it arrived short of some items. When I called the gentleman on the premises said he would call the owner and have her call me.When she finally called she was very curt from the beginning. She interrupted to say, I shouldn't even be talking to you as you ordered through, whatever delivery service had come up when I went to place the order. I haven't been in customer service most of my adult life I was astonished! She offered nothing other than a refund for just the missing items. So my GF and I just left here. She was so excited for me to finally try this place, she brags all the time of it excellent food. What we had, WooWoo Wings, with 3 sauces, basically just that sauces. The bang bang shrimp, not bad. Soups were just ok kind of like a diner. Let's move on to the entire. She had crispy chicken Alfredo, it was chicken fingers, some white sauce and over done noodles. I spend the whopping 17.99 comical Veal Parm. It was rough like leather, mostly cheese and sauce to cover up this "piece of veal". Overall service was bad, and the hostess rushed us. "Maggios, please hold" Literally there is a 75% chance you will hear the above line when calling to place a order for pickup at Maggios. Doesn't matter if it's 5pm at peak hours or 8pm when it's off peak. I think Maggios pickup might be the most annoying aspect of their business. They almost always put you on hold and they routinely take longer than they tell you your order will take. I've had to wait 10 mins in the lobby before on a 25 min pickup. All of the above wouldn't matter if the food was outstanding OR the prices were good. Sadly Maggios falls short in both areas. The food really isn't that good, honestly it isn't. Certain items can be decent but they fall short in a ton of areas. Add on to the fact that they also a little pricey($9 dollars for a hoagie...etc) and it makes you wonder how they continue to stay relevant. Italians are not running this place and you can really tell by the corporate marketing, high prices and subpar food. It's a better version of Olive Garden at the end of the day. read more

Penne alla vodka was bland and tasted worse then if it came from a can. The white pizza with spinach and broccoli was OK but their pepperoni pizza made me want to vomit. First time our server (young guy) was prompt and awesome, second time (older woman) took 15 mins to get our drink and come take our order. Then she disappeared after taking our order (bus boy brought us the food) and when I got up to go to the bathroom I saw her sitting and talking with the dessert counter people tasting different desserts. After going back to the table I had to ask another waitress for our check, then the original waitress came to us and said she was sorry but got off guard waitressing for a large party alone (clearly a lie since I saw her trying desserts, BSing around and watching tv). We were a little apprehensive because with little kids, we've noticed it takes "forever" to eat there and bedtime looms. the kids take karate right next store and we have been many times. Well, last week, as usual, Maggio's did their thing and the kids suffered. Despite the waitress asking if we wanted the kids stuff to come out first (YES) the adult food came out first. then a five minute delay, then the kids stuff Maybe not so bad, but we showed up at 6pm, and the meal didn't come until 7pm. I complained to the hostess who seemed annoyed that I was upset. The waitress was no where to be found. the food was fine, except for forgetting all of the sauces and dressing on the kids meals, (no ketchup, blue cheeses or honey mustard) so despite the food arriving for the kids, another wait. I was delivering an item in the area and decided to stop in. This place is that place you go to if you don't know what you want. It has everything. And judging by the dishes I saw they know how to do everything. Not only do they serve everything they can do it any number of ways. By occupying 3 or 4 buildings in an outdoor strip mall they manage to provide a number of dining options. From classic family style, to sports bar sit down, to outdoor to ballroom you name it you have the choice. I absolutely LOVE Maggio's! I have been here a handful of times now and I am never disappointed. My favorite thing to order was the Margherita pizza until I had mussels with red marinara for takeout last night.... now it's definitely a tie between those two. I have also had quite a few cocktails here and I was never disappointed. I like how easy and direct it is for me to get here and the fact that there is more than enough parking. I have went here for sit down meals and I just did my first take out last night. I will definitely be back VERY soon! Maggio's is great... easily one of my favorite restaurants. Maggios was awesome again , I've been going there for about 12 years now at least twice a month and I was only disappointment once. To me that is a outstanding. Everybody got the ribs full rack with the fries salad and soup and I had to salmon which was out of this world. Make vegetables were perfect steamed and delicious mashed potatoes were good. I come to the conclusion that Maggios Ribs is the best for me around the whole area. The service was pretty good great atmosphere like always was outstanding. Remember people if you want outstanding ribs and salmon Maggiano's the place to go. Also they have breakfast there and that's very good to. And they have decent pizza. Our entire experience was not bad but nothing was average. Mac and cheese for our three year old was OK and everything went down hill from there. The bacon and shrimp appetizer was awkward with hot shrimp on top of cold opposite tasting veggies. The filet was tasteless and came with heaping amounts of veggies that were also unseasoned and tastless. The saltembocca was salt on meat with cheese. I ordered the special blackberry and gin drink which tasted like tonic water mixed with blackberries. Attended a large catered event here and the food was 100% forgettable. The salad to start had a mustard vinaigrette that was pretty wretched. The filets were all overcooked and looked dry, and my salmon was moist but coated in a fake-tasting maple glaze. Definitely not made with real maple syrup. Definitely come here for happy hour! I stopped in for a quick dinner after some Costco shopping. It's a typical Suburban Italian style restaurant. The menu is pretty big so there should be something for everyone. A lot of people seemed to have cheesesteaks and pizza. I went with a soup and salad. The french onion was pretty good, not the most flavorful, but pretty tasty. My salad was the chicken caesar. It was large and I only ate half of it. There were a few weird pieces of chicken in it, but otherwise was fine. read more
