I had moved a lot of furniture outside, uncovered, and it started to rain, so Ricardo ran outside with a roll of plastic tarp and saved my furniture from water damage. The floor looks great, it was a very good price, and the carpet we had installed to replace our old carpet on the stairs and upstairs landing is high quality, and again was installed by Jack with great care. Craig and Gary did a fantastic job installing the SPC flooring. The product has a great look, seems easy to maintain, and the installation is even and has no rough spots. They removed and reinstalled my baseboards at the correct height and did a beautiful job caulking the edges (way better than I have ever been able to do). I'm very happy with the results and the rooms look great. This is a small business and they give their full attention to their workmanship.

A measuring technician came out, took all the dimensions, and directed us to the 1020 W. San Carlos location to review their full carpet selection. At the store, we explained what we were looking for, compared carpet features and pricing, and worked with Dominic--who was very accommodating. His total project cost was competitive with the other quotes we received. We also wanted new baseboards that would match our freshly painted walls and trim. Dominic arranged to have the primed (but unpainted) 16' wood baseboards delivered ahead of installation, giving us time to paint everything before the carpet went in. Tip Our new carpet and pad are very soft and plush--great underfoot, especially on the stairs. Because the new flooring sits higher than the original laminate, our bedroom doors needed to be trimmed by about half an inch. We cut the doors ourselves, but it's worth asking whether your installer can include that as part of the project. Pros * Dominic is a true carpeting professional--he anticipated our needs and offered thoughtful guidance throughout the process. * Both the wood and carpet installation teams did solid, quality work. Cons * Some door trim was scuffed as the installers maneuvered large carpet rolls through our narrow hallway and doorways, so a bit of repainting was needed afterward.

His team will even move furniture for a LOW price to make it easier on you. The shop on San Carlos isn't much to look at but you'll get awesome help and samples sent to your home. I don't think you can beat this place unless you need continuous carpet for several rooms. Even then, I'd still investigate what Dominic can do for you.

In addition, my floor pattern was discontinued. The stair nose on our step from the kitchen to the family room was cracked badly, ready to break off and needed repair. After reaching out to a few other companies who wouldn't even return my call, I was frustrated. I met Don the owner when he came out to do some work for my employer. He took a look at the photos I had and asked me to come down to Precision to see what we could do about matching a different piece of stairnose. He ordered the piece of stairnose for me and a week later sent Eduardo out to do the install. Eduardo showed up a few minutes early which was refreshing. He was very professional answering all of my questions and addressing concerns. He did an outstanding job on the install. If you didn't know that the piece wasn't original you wouldn't be able to tell. We were very happy with the whole experience and would absolutely use Precision again. Patti in particular was so easy to work with, accommodating, knowledgeable and passionate about what she does, she really was a joy! We did an add-on bonus room that had previously had gross, ancient carpet laid directly over a stamped concrete pad. The installer pulled everything out, cleaned and prepped it all and got the leveling compound done within about 4 hours on day one, leaving plenty of time for drying, and was back at my door at 8am sharp the next day to finish the job, which took about another 6 hours. 10 hours of work and the entire space has been transformed! My children love this new play space and I am confident this flooring will stand up to my doggy running back and forth from the house to the backyard. It looks great, it feels great, it SMELLS great (compared to my carpet, yikes!) and I've been over every inch of it and haven't found a single flaw. If you need new flooring, this place is who you need to visit! Don't bother trying to go with the cheap guys with low quality flooring. Just go with the best.
