I would give this place a negative score because of the two Chinese ladies' attitude. They think people come on Tuesday are free riders and are rude to customers. The portion they serve is pathetically little - even tho they tried to make it looks a lot. Two bowls are good size for one person. Food is acceptable tasty - tangerine chicken and teppanyaki chicken. Brown rice was prepared too wet or too dry occasionally. Fried noodle was prepared too greasy most of time. Fried rice was o.k.. To the owner of this place, if you really want to attract traffic to come for Tuesday Bowl Special, pls do execute what you mean, stop serving small portion. Located in a busy Vons shopping center, with a bowling alley across the stree, they get a lot of exposure. It appears they haven't spent much money on decorating the interior and keeping it maintained. The specials are often good deals and they give you plenty of food. The best thing on their menu is their tangerine/orange chicken. It's not breaded to death like other places and the sauce is pretty tasty and it's seeped into the chicken. I usually get their 3-entree combo: tangerine chicken, teriyaki chicken & beef broccoli. The beef broccoli is average. Their teri chicken is pretty tasty. During dinner time, the place tends to start piling up so a line usually forms. It usually goes pretty quick so you don't have to worry for long, especially if you're hungry. read more
