Delicious spot, super conveniently located 2 blocks away from Waikiki beach. Luckily my hotel was located at the corner, so we got to indulge in some delicious bowls on our way back from our outings. The line can get long at peak hours, but the service is really efficient. There's a few spots outside to sit. But like I mentioned before it's so easy to grab and go. I would definitely take mine back to the beach to watch the surfers, the sunrise, or sunset. Lots of options and plenty of condiments for anyone interested. Would definitely come back again. read more

Ended up discovering this poke spot after staying nearby in Waikiki. Quick and easy fix for poke. That's pretty much all I do when I visit Hawaii. It does get crowded but the line goes pretty fast. Limited spots to sit outside since they don't have space inside. You can also just take the poke to Waikiki beach to eat it there which is just a short walk. The staff is very friendly and helpful if you need recommendations. I love how fresh the fish is and their menu has pictures and a description of what you will get. Highly recommend if you're staying in the area. read more

There's always a line at this poke spot every time I visit Hawaii. I finally decided to try it with my husband. We went to grab a late lunch and ordered a Spicy Hawaiian poke bowl and Special Rainbow poke bowl. The fish is fresh and the menu has many options to choose from. Maguro Spot makes their bowls to order and toppings are not included in the price but can be added. Even though there was a long line, the line to order+pay went by really quick. Even waiting for our bowls wasn't too long. There's a small area next to Maguro Spot where you can sit and eat, and there's a really small public parking garage in walking distance. read more

Some of the best poke on the Oahu. Really amazing fresh fish, and a huge variety of options. Really great little bits of deliciousness in an incredible poke bowl. Had the poke salad and got a mix of tuna and blue marlin. So fresh. Really luscious tofu and crunchy macadamia nuts as well as the combination of shoyu and their house sauce made this a really incredible snack. read more

This will be your new favorite spot. I initially assumed that this was a tourist spot with inflated prices and subpar food HOWEVER I was wrong. It is VERY very very good. If you're looking at different poke places to go, stop looking. You've found the winner. I recommend the ahi, sushi rice, and shoyu wasabi, and whatever toppings you like. Had this combo multiple times in a week while visiting. The rice was cooked perfectly and allowed time to rest. The poke was top notch quality. Even with a line out the door it won't take more than 15 minutes to get your food. They've got tables under umbrellas around the corner or head to the beach! read more

Maguro Spot might just have the best poke bowls in Waikīkī, and it seems like everyone knows it. The line can look daunting as it stretches around the corner, but don't let that deter you. It almost deterred us but we figure we had to try it once. The staff moves quickly, efficiently serving up some of the freshest and most flavorful poke bowls in the area. So we ended up going twice! We tried the Spicy Tuna Bowl and the combo 1 and 2 Bowls. They were filled with top-quality, fresh fish that melded perfectly with the other ingredients. The ability to customize your bowl is a huge plus, with a variety of fresh toppings and different seafood options. But since I felt overwhelmed, I would say the default combo is pretty good already unless you know exactly what you want. Though the wait can range from 20 to 45 minutes, it's a small price to pay for poke this good. The atmosphere is casual and friendly, ideal for a post-beach meal or a casual dine-out experience. We ended up taking it to go both times to eat back in the hotel. If you find yourself in Honolulu and have a poke craving, Maguro Spot is the place to go. The only hiccup I ran into was trying to skip the line by ordering on Uber Eats the night before. For some reason the order was canceled when the scheduled time came around. I guess they probably wouldn't be able to handle the additional volume of online ordering if it was that easy to skip the line. read more

Maguro Spot was superb. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, the fish especially. You can really tell the quality just by the flavor and texture. It's simple food done really well, and the freshness speaks for itself. There's usually a long line during lunch and dinner, which isn't surprising. If you can go outside peak meal hours, you'll have a better chance of a shorter wait. Seating is outdoors, and the food came out quickly even when it was busy. Oh my gosh, this was definitely one of my favorite poke spots in Waikiki! We passed by this place a couple times, and the prices are extremely enticing. We tried the poke ball with the spicy jalapeno sauce on tuna and salmon and it was incredible! The fish is so fresh and butter. The sauce is actually very delicious and comes through very clearly. The vegan poke bowl is delicious as well. The sauce you choose makes all the difference. The prices are absolutely unbeatable for the astounding quality. Wakiki is expensive, so head here for a perfect lunch without breaking the bank. They also have a little parklet to enjoy your meal, but I would eat by the beach, which is just a short walk away. The service is super fast (they throw it together right in front of you!) and your meal is ready by the time you pay. Loved it! read more

very convenient spot near waikiki beach. as a result, it is often packed with tourists like me and overpriced for the amount of fish you get. however, i love the different mix ins you can add to your poke and the fish was very fresh. toppings are not free, so choose wisely. they have a lot of suggestions taped up and the staff are always happy to recommend different combos. you sit at these benches outside and can enjoy the hawaii sun. it's great to sit there with a large group of friends. read more

The ahi tuna was so fresh and then one of the servers recommended the rainbow sauce which was spicy mayo and teriyaki sauce which was a great recommendation. I found the prices to be reasonable. Never judge a book by its cover, I always say! This little poke spot serves up super fresh and delish poke and lucky me, was conveniently located right across the street from my hotel when I visited last summer. Score! There was a little bit of a line but it went fairly quickly. I had already eaten lunch but was still craving poke, so I ordered the smallest size just to get my fix. Like other poke places, you choose rice, salad or both, your fish of choice, sauce preference and toppings. I went with tuna poke with a spicy mayo sauce over half rice, half salad. Kept it simple, nothing fancy and it was perfect. We'll be back in Honolulu in March and I will definitely be dropping by for my poke fix again. read more

Little corner spot on 2441 Kuhio Ave, next to the Pink Royal Grove Hotel. Looking for a spot to eat. Noticed a line , so we thought this place must be good! All kinds of poke bowls. Decided on the Garlic jalapeño bowl. Large size @ $ 18.50. Elijah was our cashier, who was polite & had good customer service. The bowl was fresh made, & contained a nice serving of fresh ahi , shrimp, edamame in a jelepeno garlic , shoyu mixture.They have all kinds of variety bowls! Excellent, fast, fresh seafood at this little hole in the wall take-out joint in Waikiki. They mix the fish to order so it's not sitting in the sauce all day. For the price and convenience, you really can't beat it - is there better fish out there? Yes, absolutely, I'm not saying this is the best ever. But for this price point, location and convenience, located within the tourist trap that is Waikiki, I'd say this is a pretty excellent bang for your buck. The staff were very friendly and efficient. This was the first poke place we tried out when we first landed. We didn't even make it to our hotel yet but knew we had to find some nearby poke. Parking is difficult around this place. My husband liked their poke. For me, it was a little mushy and didn't seem fresh. We did like how you can add a few more sauces after you get your order. This spot is really convenient as it's right in Waikiki, but seating is basically nonexistent. There wasn't a line when we arrived, but we have seen lines at different times of the day. Their menu was also overwhelming and a little difficult understanding how to order. read more

Maguro Spot was the very first place I stopped for poke in Waikiki and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. I went with the Spicy Spicy bowl from their menu instead of customizing my own, and it was absolutely delicious. The fish was incredibly fresh, buttery, and full of flavor. Honestly it was on a whole different level compared to poke back in LA. I do not think I can go back to eating poke at home the same way again. My only regret was ordering a medium instead of a large because it was that good. The menu can feel a little intimidating at first, but you can always ask for help since the workers are super friendly. The atmosphere is very fast paced, so once you jump in line make sure you know what you want. Definitely a must try if you are in Waikiki. read more

Our first meal on the island! Don't confuse this place with Maguro brothers, they are not the same!!! But they are as equally popular (I just like maguro spot a bit better ) the fish was very yummy and flavored well! I got the Hawaiian and my boyfriend got the rainbow. Honestly the portion sizes are pretty good too for the price. This was walking distance from our hotel so that's a plus! It gets very busy during peak hours but they are SO FAST with the food. There's even some more seating behind the building. It's hard to have bad poké in Hawaii I think but this is definitely my #1 so far!! read more

What a fantastic poke spot!! I never cease to be amazed by just how delicious poke is in Hawaii, and wish we could bring it back to LA with us. I came here THREE times on my recent trip to Oahu (and the trip was only for 5 days). That's how much I loved the food here. What I've gotten in order of favorite: - Tuna and ikura special bowl (medium bowl size+ only) - 10/10!! Flavor is on point, and both the tuna and ikura were SO fresh. The bowl came with your choice of base (brown rice, white rice, or sushi rice); of course I had to go with sushi rice. - Signature poke - 9/10! Comes with tuna, salmon, and blue marlin. Sauces: spicy shoyu & spicy mayo. Toppings: cucumber, edamame, seaweed salad. This was definitely a more sauce heavy poke, but the sauce was quite delicious. Maguro Spot is THE spot in Waikiki for an excellent, simple poke bowl! This was my first time trying Maguro Spot and it did not disappoint. I ordered a medium poke bowl with salmon and tuna over brown rice ($12). The bowl comes with choice of sauce, onions, spring mix, and sesame seeds, plus you have the option to add toppings, which range from $0.75 to $4 each. Also, they offer three kinds of rice - white, brown, and sushi rice. I chose the shoyu based sauce and no additional toppings. The fish was good quality and delicious! The bowl was simple, but tasty. Staff informed me the tuna was just receive that morning. Maguro Spot is a very tiny hole-in-the-wall poke shop that has no seating indoors. It's mainly to-go, but there are a couple of small tables outside. There is usually a line for this place so be prepared for a little wait. They only sell poke bowls, not sashimi (like Maguro Brothers does). They also sell a $5 salmon bowl. Great Spot for some Maguro! read more

Our food arrived and the first bite had me immediately hooked. The tonkatsu is so airy and didn't feel heavy at all. The rice was nice and fluffy, you can tell they use the good rice. I was never a big fan of tonkatsu but this place changed my mind. I already can't wait for my next time back. Pro tip: MAKE A RESERVATION!!

My family ordered the ahi tuna, loco moco, seafood platter, calamari appetizer, and bbq chicken. Each meal comes with a scoop of rice, green salad and corn. My little sister enjoyed her bbq chicken with a side of salad and it looked really juicy. The loco moco was on the drier side while the seafood platter offered a decent variety of different seafoods which my mom really enjoyed. The calamari appetizer was perfectly breaded and we all loved it! I enjoyed the ahi tuna but I wish there was more flavor to the fish. The fish was nicely cooked and a paired well with the rice and salad. Since we walked to this restaurant, I didn't get a chance to see where parking was but I assume hotel parking is used for this establishment.
