My cuticles do not look like I just got a manicure... Basic pedicure was done with hand soap, he cut my toe while removing the old gel. Cuticles don't look great. The salon did not look clean. There were cut nails and nail/polish dust all over. Really uncomfortable experience. Had higher hopes since the reviews were good. Bummer. Edit: the file used to remove the gel polish was not the issue. After they cut the nails, they filed them so poorly so that the edges of nails were jagged and snagging on everything. Good experience with a relaxed vibe I visited Coconut Nail Bar over the weekend for a mani-pedi combo. My appointment was later in the day, and surprisingly, there were no other customers. My nails were shaped alright, though I honestly think they looked a bit better before the service. The pedicure was average. One of my favorite parts of getting a pedicure is the massage chair. This one was comfortable, except for the attached head and neck pillow. It sat at an uncomfortable position for my height. I could not adjust it myself, but to be fair, I did not ask the staff for assistance. The staff members were courteous throughout my visit. Overall, it was an average experience. For logistics, I found parking easily on a nearby side street. My usual nail salon was super busy and only had 1 person working today so I decided to try this new salon out! It happened to be nearby where I was too - super convenient! I called beforehand to ask if they were busy and they were not at all. I was the only customer. Both ladies were super nice. I got a gel mani and gel pedi. With 10% off it came out to $72 + tip. I really appreciate the owner changing the color of the gel for my nails, because the first color I picked was super bubbly and I didn't like it. We tried to add a different color on top and that didn't help. She did apologize a lot and I told her its okay it happens. So sweet of her to go above and beyond and change my gel color to something else without being hesistant or dismissing how I felt about the original color. Please come check them out! I visited Coconut Nail Bar 6/21/24 and had a very nice, relaxing experience. It wasn't too busy and I was seen right away without an appointment. I was offered water (which I always appreciate) and a mimosa too. It's a smaller shop, very clean with nice music playing. I chose a Fresh Start manicure w/ gel polish and a Sparkling Refreshing pedicure w/ gel polish. We did 3 coats because the color was a lighter shade. They did a great job!! My pics are 13 days later and all the polish is still good! Not one finger or toe has peeled which is impressive. I've been at the pool several times and use my hands a lot at work so I'm very impressed it's stayed on without any peeling or chipping. The women were so nice and sat me in a chair and showed me so many color options. The woman doing my nails took her time to clean and cut them and polish them with gel polish. I was convinced after asking for regular polish and I was happily pleased with the outcome as a first time gel polish. After it was finished she massaged my hands and wiped them clean. It was so nice and I'm definitely going back and taking my daughter. I also told a girlfriend and she really liked the place too. Stumbled upon this little hidden gem after I had a bad service elsewhere. Came here to get a color change since I disliked how they did my nails at the previous nail salon I went to. I made the split second decision to go to the coconut nail bar today before my meeting. Even though I was a walk-in they took me in very quick! Cristina did my acrylic removal and pink/white ombré dip powder service and Jenny did my pedicure. I haven't had a pedicure in a while due to schedule but Jenny did wonders with getting off all the dead skin and making my feet presentable again. When I wasn't sure if the color I picked suited, she offered to let me pick another which was very sweet. Jenny is very meticulous with her color application and with making sure that any hangnails are removed. My acrylics were removed very gently and with great care - allowing me to preserve the nail growth beneath. Even though they were a little on the shorter side, Cristina got me that almond shape I was looking for. She was also very careful, making sure the application was done right and double-checking to make sure everything was to my satisfaction. The one small thing I mentioned was taken care of quickly and without fuss. Cristina also did an amazing job on my eyebrows. Overall, I loved the fun vibe here. The music was upbeat, everything was clean, and Jenny and Cristina were both so friendly and conversational. Would go again read more

Needed my nails done last minute and decided to try out Coconut Nail Bar for the first time as a quick resort and was actually amazed with how things went and I will now be coming here every time for fills and new sets. A lot of places I try to my nails just don't really come out with a good shape, they're rushing too hard, or aren't good with designs, or even hurt me. BUT Sophie did my nails and she was very sweet and calm and quick and did beautifully, I get compliments every day! I think these only took an hour, she was very effective with her time. Upon reading the reviews and seeing the photos I was very excited to view this salon. Come on 5/5 stars? I showed the nail tech what I wanted and she said yes I can do that. She started putting my my set and then seemed hesitant and asked for the photo again for reference. She now seemed VERY hesitant. I asked again if she can do it and she said she doesn't have that (that meaning 3D gel application). So fine whatever let's try something else. I ended up doing a stupid color and the pearls were not arranged how I wanted them. She was so nice and the price was good but it wasn't what I wanted. I felt so ugly with them on. I went back to her the day I was leaving for my birthday trip but she couldn't see me cause she had another client. I left and went to another salon, they were shocked about the work staying the cuticles and application weren't good. I'm sorry I would not recommend this place.
