I hired MaidPro for the first time today, and I was actually surprised at how thorough Petesa was in cleaning my home. I have had several housekeepers over the years, but Petesa outdid them all. She was professional, communicated well, and took pride in her work. When she was through, she walked me through the rooms to show me the highlights of her work. I don't know what more positive things I could say other than she is a very hard worker and is very personable. read more

Our landlord hired them to clean the place before our move in. We moved in and the entire place is still dirty. It's as if no one has even touched the place. Our landlord called and complained and had them come back for an hour for dusting which barely did anything to the whole place. I spoke to the owner telling them this place needs more than just a dusting. He said he can't send anyone because we have lived here for 5 days already so the mess could be from us. I told them I have pictures with timestamps. They declined saying how our landlord said we only needed a dusting and that they're not going to send anyone else to clean it. Instead of fixing their problems, they blamed it on our miscommunication of how badly the place needed cleaning. In conclusion, bad cleaning job and horrible customer service. Being an elderly person, I have had many many cleaning services come into my home. I called MaidPro and they sent a young lady named Jessica to do my cleaning. I can honestly say she is the best cleaner I have ever had in my long life. She was so thorough and my floors have never been cleaner. I have had bad results from other cleaning companies. Extremely rude customer service and CRAZY HIGH PRICES. I asked to get my bedroom and bathroom cleaned and they said it was $210 because there was a 2 hour minimum. Because we were on the phone and I didn't have much time to think about it, I agreed, but compared this price to other nearby services and found that this was way too high. I asked to cancel and they replied "Please in the future do not waste our time with booking a cleaning agreeing to a price and then canceling it." Outrageous. read more

Do not recommend at all. Experienced subpar cleaning and scheduling and this owner likes to argue about it.

Unfortunately, they have little "ongoing, post Covid" interest in working with you unless you have a large house to clean. I engaged them to clean my small pool house apartment (360 square feet) on a weekly basis for perpetuity which should take no more than 1.5 hours for one person moving slowly (no living room per se and no carpets to clean). There is no way it should take longer. If they are not into cleaning small apartments anymore that's their prerogative, but I would think from a revenue stream that it would be in their interest to have a small weekly clean that is predictable in lieu of an unpredictable mess once every 3 weeks from a larger house. Taylor is a great person and I enjoyed herb the few times I interacted with her. I did not enjoy assuming I'd get weekly service to be cancelled days in advance or the day before. But that's not the issue. I was cancelled at least 7 times. My place is smaller than a one car garage. How can that take two hours to clean? The job couldn't have been more low key and low maintenance for them. I even let them come and go at their discretion without me being there. I guess they are the "pros" at running a business. I guess they can do just fine with out my $4200 in annual revenue. read more

I was visiting my sister in Los Angeles and wanted to get a good cleaning for her kitchen and bathroom, before she had a small gathering for the family. I looked online and found MaidPro and contacted them. The young lady that I spoke to took down all of my information (what I wanted done in particular and my credit card number) we made the appointment for Friday, September 16, between the hours of 11:00-3:00. On Friday, today, we waited patiently until around 2:15. I decided to call to get an estimated time of arrival. When I called the young man said all my information was in except the day of service. What???? Why would I give my credit card information without setting up an appointment? So quite naturally they couldn't fit us in. They wanted to reschedule for another day, but it just didn't work out. I am totally disappointed. Is one star too much? read more

We had them out yesterday after finding them on Angie's list and paid $270 for a "deep clean." Very disappointing. Will never use this service again. They ruined our linen white shower curtain by hanging it over the metal curtain rod which had rusted areas. Then they didn't even put it back down, just left it hanging up there. They didn't clean the floors at all. Even when I pointed it out that it didn't look like they had mopped the floors the gentleman just sort of brushed it off rather than clean it. You can see it in the way your house looks, believe me! I was extremely impressed with the quality of cleaning! They also really go the extra mile! If hey are unsure of anything they will ask first or leave a note if your not home. The owner is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and kind. He has the maids leave a checklist behind marking what was cleaned that day. I have used other maid services that don't do this, and the quality of work was poor. Keisha came to do a move-out clean for 3 hours at my place the other day. She did an amazing job! Keisha was on time, very personable, and went above & beyond (way above & beyond) what I asked her to do. Everything was sparkling clean & looked brand-new. So impressive. I haven't had great luck with cleaning services in the past, so this was such a pleasant surprise. Another aspect that I liked was that it was very easy to communicate with the MaidPro people, and they all seemed to care that the job was done right. This doesn't always happen in LA. The house was not a breeze to clean since I have 3 teenage boys. I am a Realtor and wanted to try them out. I need a company to recommend to clients who are licensed, bonded and insured. I will use and recommend the service in the future. It was easy, streamlined and professional. They bring everything they need to get the job done, but are happy to use your own products if you ask.
