I've been to other main event facilities, and had good experiences, but I'm afraid that I'm very unimpressed by this particular one. I really don't like giving a one star review, but some things just need to be called out. I had negative experiences with multiple staff members being rude, unprofessional, and downright unpleasant. The cashier at the front had an attitude about getting shoes and splitting the payment of a lane between a few people - ok, how hard can it be? And if it is hard, there is no need to get rude about it. Pretty standard, straightforward request I think. Moving on, the balls for some arcade games were flat, the mini bowling game kept freezing up and needed to reset several times, there was lots of trash lying about, and other staff were rude. I give credit though, to one guy who was an attendant to the arcade who was very helpful, and an exception to the general rudeness of the staff. Sadly, the others weren't like him. Bowling area kind of disorganized, and lastly the bar was also a bust. I hope that main event will improve themselves, but until then, what can I say, I don't think I'll be coming back with family here soon. read more

Had a horrible experience here today. First off, i go to take my 5 year old son to the putt putt course to burn some time while waiting for some family members. I get charged for peak a peak hour rate, which I could understand since it is Saturday, even though the place was far from busy. So $20 for the 2 of us and fifteen minutes later we are done with the putt putt which was not worth anywhere near $20. The reason I point out the frustration with this peak hour charge is because there was one bartender, who was doing her best but needed help and the manager would come by seldomly and grab one drink for someone, then slowly walk off leaving her stuck on her own again. Also, during this "peak hour" I sat at a table for fifteen minutes trying to order some food for my son and I but, never saw anyone come by. I finally had to go to the overworked bartender and order food from her because my son was starving. After this, I get a bowling lane, and not once did someone come by to check on us. I saw plenty of employees standing around doing nothing though. This location must hate making money because they could've turned out about 10xs the amount of drinks and food than they were. There was no hustle shown by anyone here, including the managers I saw, except for the poor bartender who was having to serve, put in food orders, and bartend a bar that was three deep. I will not be going back here to be overcharged then made to feel like a burden by being a paying customer. read more

I came here for an adult friends birthday party a couple months back. I thought it was an odd destination choice considering all we did drink and play pool. We arrived around 10pm and some people stayed until closing. About an hour was all I could handle before leaving for greener pastures (Shops at Legacy). I know it is a family friendly place but there were so many ill behaved children with no parents in sight. I was beginning to wind if parents just dropped their kids off and would come back later to dad pick them up. Free babysitting! Kids were crawling on the pool tables, and the staff was doing anything about it. When a kid starting messing the cue balls on our table, we had to kick the kids out ourselves. What a mess. The bartenders seemed unhappy and the drinks were weak at best. I am giving this place a better rating because I am certain this place is great for what it is meant for - kids. Grown adults, find a better place to have a birthday party at. #creepers read more

Really enjoyed the variety of activities, but very frustrated by the broken video games. Air hockey that didn't keep score, guitar hero that doesn't show words. Many of their arcade machines need to be replaced due to age or defect. Looking forward to bowling and karaoke next time. read more

I just left this place after paying 10.00 each to play 9 holes of minstrel golf. Not 18 holes, after all manager said we only had room for 9. Ok, at least they were nice, they reminded me of course some 14 year olds built in 1960. Even my 10 year old grandson when he asked me how much it cost, told me I had been ripped off. How I realize when you walk into a place like this you are being ripped off. But the lack of effort made here was shocking. read more

went for laser tag only (with my son). 1) my gun/vest stopped working halfway into game and I missed a third of the game. there was zero urgency amongst staff in getting me back in the game, and no refund was offered. I was "base defender" on our team, so it screwed our whole team when I went out. 2) my son really loves the printouts given at end of the game, which tell you how many hits you had, etc. He'll study them on the way home, and even keeps a folder of them. They were "out of paper". Seriously, how difficult is it to keep paper stocked? I'm really beginning to think they just say they're out of paper when the scoring system is down. a shame, because other than these 2 issues, we would have had a blast. this is the second Main Event we've been to (other in Austin). We don't have a place like this were I live but I truly wish we would, not only is everyone friendly its super clean and there's sooooooo much to do. We're I live we have Dave and Busters but take away the video and ticket games and food and bar it's nothing compared to the food bar bowling high ropes laser tag pool tables plus much more. I wish we didn't live so far away on Oahu. My family and I love visiting my folks in Frisco knowing that we will be going to the main event when we get there. read more

We went to Main Event over MLK weekend and bought a pass to do all their fun activities. However, when we went to sign up to do Laser Tag and the Ropes; it was going to take too long. So the manager gave us a full refund, and then he gave us a few free game cards for our trouble. This was way more than we expected! It is nice to have such great service! Shout out to Marlon! We were so excited to take our family of 4 for a night of fun games and bowling. The one problem was it took over an hour to get a lane. In swooped Marlon who got us a table and was our server for the night. Hands down the best service we have had in a very long time! He was so patient with our youngest and even went out of his way to get him a balloon. Marlon also helped us move to our bowling lane when it was ready. read more

This place is AMAZING. There is so much to do. I went there for the first time with my kids and grandkids. We had a BLAST. I'm from VA. I don't know of any place like it. read more

Love going there with the kids. They have relatively less crowd than the one in plano and the crowd quality is better too. We feel safe not to be surrounding our kids all the time here. Staff is nice and courteous. Kids love laser tag and gravity. In summer vacations, some times we spend easy 5-6 hoours. I wish they have some more healthy food choices though. read more

Very disappointed with the level of service that was displayed at the Frisco location today. Myself and two friends came to this location for the fun pass and when we were put on the list for bowling, we were told that it would be about an hour until we had a lane. No problem. So, we went and played mini golf and to fill our time. When we were standing in line to get the clubs, we were not assisted. We stood there for a little bit before a worker finally asked us what we needed. When we said we wanted to play mini golf, he told us "the clubs are right there". After 45 minutes, we went back to check how much longer until we had a lane. Were then told the wait would be an hour and a half. So, 45 minutes before we were told it was an hour and now it was going to be an hour and a half (which would make the total wait time, 2 hours and 15 minutes... when we were told it would be an hour originally). I asked for a manager and he was able to accommodate us with a lane and gave us an extra hour of bowling for the inconvenience. However, right after bowling, we went to get a slice of pizza and we were standing in the line and the girl at the cashier stand and other people working in the kitchen clearly saw us standing there waiting for assistance. After minutes of standing there, we finally asked the cashier "are we supposed to order with you?" and she finally said yes. It would have been great to have someone ask us if we were ready to order instead of just letting us stand there. It seemed like almost everyone working there did not want to provide us with any customer service. This is the WORST service I have ever experienced at ANY bowling alley I have ever been to. VERY displeased and will likely go to another bowling alley next time. read more
