Good brisket pizza, good apple salad, and good choriso dip. Prices are high and pissed me off that they provided pop refills and charged me 5 dollars a piece. 20 dollars for 4 diet pepsi's is a rippoff. I am used to free refills up north. My wife didn't ask for one but was given it and barely drank the 2nd. You should indicate or tell that. They had no menus but only qr codes.

It's a hotel bar, it's better than most but still fairly average. I had a few drinks and food. The bartender was absolutely delightful to hang out with. The Cherry old fashion did taste pretty artificial for me but it was decent. I did order their version of a black Manhattan which was good! The Brussel sprouts were good and crispy definitely on the sweet side. You get a decent amount so it can be shared. The fish tacos were easily my favorite! I would get those again.

I was a guest at the hotel i would never eat here again. I ordered a avocado toast and not knowing it came with bacon and i don't eat meat i seen it and sent it back would you believe they just took off the bacon and it was still meat on my breakfast i was sick for 5 days. This was not only a inconvenience and ruined my trip but i still can't believe this happened in a restaurant. I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone definitely not on vacation

Food- ordered a chicken salad and it was delicious with apple cider dressing. My friend had the fish tacos which she says wasn't tasty. The spicy margarita was on point and I loved it! Service- they were busy at lunch time but waiter was attentive. Ambiance- seemed to be a lot of working people having lunch.

Cool casual bar and grill inside the JW Marriott in downtown Houston. We came here for lunch while at an event in the area, and the food was much to pur satisfaction (albeit a bit pricey due to being a hotel restaurant). The chorizo queso was creamy with thick hearty chips, the pizza was oven baked in a 600 deg oven with a nice flavor, the shrimp n grits were creamy, and srvice was excellent.

We came here for lunch to kill time. The service was ok, but the waiter kept pressing us to order more (??). I got the shrimp and grits. Looked like it would be a flavor boost but was kind of bland. The pizza was okay, it didn't come out hot. The chips and queso were really good and refillable chips.

This was a pleasant surprise. I wanted to find a seafood restaurant but didn't have much energy to leave much past my hotel. (Plus, they had some options) The atmosphere was unique, and the decor was really beautiful. There is an amazing piece of art when you walk in the front door that will keep you memorized for a moment. I was skeptical of the restaurant, but as soon as I tried the first bite of the wings, I knew that the chef/cook knew how to make a perfectly crispy wing. I seem to always search for that perfect crisp on a wing, and they truly nailed it. We also ordered the jalapeno shrimp app. Just wow. Beautiful flavors coming together - if you want that clean, fresh feeling in your gut, I highly recommend these fresh jalapenos, citrus juices, and shrimp lumps. It almost makes you feel good like a medicine. The Mahi was the Market fish - what a gorgeous presentation. The puree/corn/cilantro/slaw was the flavor star. I found that I was combining fish bites with a small fork full of this amazing slaw. When it came together, it was an addicting combination that I am already craving again. The fish was very tasty. The one critic I have is the texture of the fish. I feel like it could have been just ever so slightly more tender. I mean, if we were performing a Rockwell test on this meat (Steel hardness test lol), it's was only off by fractions of a decimal. At my request, the chef paired a glass of wine with the dish that also seemed off for the flavors. What a great stop! 5/5 will eat again.

I give them a five!!! I wasnt expecting much when I found this place. I don't like how it's a part of the lobby.. but once you're over the setup, the restaurant is actually pretty nice... Nice decor and scenery. Back to my expectations... I didn't have any.. but what a surprise... Main Kitchen exceeded all my expectations... The fried cauliflower stole the show... Tasted like boneless buffalo wings without the chicken!!! Wonderful!!! The pork chop was amazing as were the fried catfish and grits! Will definitely be back with more people to try this food.

We stayed at the JW downtown and decided to make dinner an easy night and go here. The shrimp and grits were great - very saucy. The gnocchi with mushrooms was good too. I love these dishes so it was easy to decide on what we wanted. Our server was beyond well mannered and so kind and accommodating. We went in for breakfast the next morning as well! The breakfast plate with scrambled eggs and toast was great. Very simple, just what I needed. I enjoyed the morning juices too.

Two words... Beyond Burger. Nothing more need be said... I'm very happy to see chefs putting plant based alternatives on their menus!! Thank you for the attention and focus on clean and sustainable options. The beyond burger was sooo good. It has blistered shishito peppers and a pickled green tomato slice. Genius! And the fries are absolutely delicious! Go here. Just for the plant-based burger... just sayin... your welcome...

When my friend made the reservation, she received an email encouraging customers to visit the tasting room before or after dinner. We showed up an hour early to visit the tasting room, however the host had no idea what we were talking about. Turns out they weren't doing tastings. Luckily, we didn't have to wait to be seated. We initially had a table that was not near a heat lamp, however an employee came over and let us know that we could switch to a table near the heat lamp which was appreciated because it was chilly. Our server was Laura. She was nice and funny. They had $25 flight specials. I went with the Sayanara Flight which had white wines. I really enjoyed them and they weren't too sweet. My friend had an NA wine which she enjoyed. We ordered the Truffle Fries and Meatballs. Both dishes were tasty. I enjoyed the aioli that came with the fries. They had discounted wines for purchase. Not all bottles were 50% off, however the gentleman that we spoke to went ahead and gave me a 50% discount on both the rosé and pinot grigio that I purchased which was so appreciated! It seems like there are quite a few businesses around town that are closing. I'm sad to see Mutiny go, but I'm glad my friend and I got to dine in on their final night.

"Closing time, you don't have to go home But you can't stay…read morehere." - Semisonic I have lived in the loop for 5 years now, and I'm sad to say that I finally tried Mutiny on their last day. I often pass by it going through a shortcut to I-45 and sometimes going home around the area. It's literally a 5-minute drive. I booked reservations Friday since I saw they opened up the 31st on Resy. It wasn't earlier in the week, but I knew it was the last day, and my friend and I really wanted to try. I'm glad we made reservations because they were at capacity (150 person capacity) and weren't taking any walk ins. We got there early cause Resy suggested checking out the Tasting Room before or after the reservation time. We got there about an hour earlier, and the host said he didn't know anything about that except that the Tasting Room area was used for events. Interesting. We were seated earlier on the patio on this freezing evening. At first, we were at a table that didn't have a heat lamp, but when one freed up, they were so nice to suggest that we move closer to the heat lamp since they saw us shivering. Lol. We were thankful for that. I wore fleece lined jeans and brought gloves and a beanie anyway having been in the below freezing winter in London. Laura was our server and was kind and funny. So was this other guy who checked in every now and then. He made light of their last day situation. The dining area is so beautiful inside. I love the limestone-looking interior and chandeliers. Reminds me of Fredericksburg or something. They had many large groups and a few small groups of friends or couples dining on this last day. Way to go out with a bang. A lot of the wines were selling out or already sold out around 7-8 pm. We tried the truffle fries and Sicilian meatballs with focaccia bread. I like the thick cut of the fries and the black garlic aioli. It reminded me of yuca fries. The Sicilian meatballs were a bit small, peppery and salty. I wish the marinara was a little more tart. The focaccia helped cut through the saltiness. I had 2 glasses of the NA Sauvignon blanc which was light and a little tart. They ran out of the NA red blend. My friend ordered Sayonara, one of their farewell flights which were aptly named for "goodbye". It was a great night on the patio but chilly. My friend purchased a rosé and a Pinot Grigio as part of their Last Sail wines. Actually, the Pinot Grigio wasn't part of the sale, and he was going to take off 20%, but he also made it 50% off. So nice!! I'm glad we got to try them on their last day. Bon voyage, Mutiny.

The place was dimly lit and there was a lot of seating, both indoor and outdoor. A lot of the seating inside was arranged as couches with low tables, which made for a very casual and relaxing vibe, while the overall atmosphere remained very classy. - Padre's Hotdog (4.5/5): I was told by my friend that this was the best hotdog ever so I had very high expectations and I wasn't disappointed. The bread was very buttery and nicely toasted. The frank itself was very juicy and I loved how the pico and mustard help cut through the fat. The thing that made this hotdog stand out was the cheese sauce. The cheese sauce was delicious and I could probably have just eaten that alone. One thing though, the hotdogs were a bit on the smaller size, you probably would have to order something else or a second hotdog if you were hungry. Would come back again just for this hotdog! Parking/Service: There was a small lot on the side of the building, but other than that you might have to street park in the neighborhood right next to it. The ordering system was a bit of a surprise for me. You have to walk in to the bar and order there.

You can choose between 3 or 6oz pours, or a bottle. We also decided to share a cheese board with the Willoughby cheese which was soft and delicious!
