Smoothies were 10/10!! We tried two different flavors (a green one and a berry one) and both were really delicious and the texture/consistency was a dream! Aka insanely thick and creamy. Products were five stars but docking a star for the poor service. Employee was 0 percent knowledgeable about the menu and the other employee wasn't wearing his mask properly while preparing the smoothies, which is especially annoying when they have "wear your mask" signs on the walls for customers. I used to stop by regularly for an açaí bowl or juice. It's seems they are in an interior decoration transition phase right now and have staffing and ingredient stock issues. The manager tried her best to work the store on her own but honestly just closing for the day would have been the right move. Other customers were served before I was, my first açaí bowl was completely melted by the time the 2nd one came out, and I had to wait 30 minutes. While the quality of the product at Main Squeeze was pretty good, I felt that the customer service was lacking. Main Squeeze is a nice small juice bar located on the appropriately names Main Street. Much like other juice shops, it offers a variety of all natural drinks made at the store: smoothies, cold pressed juices, shots, and cleanses. Although it does not have as long of a menu compared to other chain juice shops like Pressed Juicery, their flavors were definitely more bold and had pretty unique combinations. I personally ordered the Alkalizer ( ginger, lemon, apple, cayenne pepper) as a cold pressed juice rather than on the spot. I really liked was that there was a strong ginger flavor that was accompanied with the heat of cayenne pepper to cut the sweetness of the other fruits in the juice. Be prepared to sweat a little if you order this one! While the drink itself was good, I was disappointed at the customer service. As I came in to an empty store with no line, the people working behind the counter were understandably working on cracking some coconuts. However, only after looking at the menu for several minutes, did one of the girls acknowledge my presence. Then, before I had even signed and put some money for tip after paying with credit card, the girl who helped ring me up had already left to go back to talk with the other girl. No thank you or anything remotely feeling like she cared about whether I came back. And at $10 a drink, I think I would rather take my business elsewhere. It is located on a busy street but there are some spots available if you are lucky in front of the store. Overall, while the drinks may be good at Main Squeeze, you might as well use that money elsewhere where they will appreciate your business. read more

Stopped tonight for my first time and I got the Acai Smoothie. It was so good and filled me up for my night class. The girls that work are very helpful and sweet. I like that all the juices they have in the fridge are made fresh every morning. You know you are getting good quality juices and smoothies when the veggies are on display in the fridge. The reason I came here was because I was wanted to have a healthy drink as a meal replacement for dinner. This Acai smoothie for sure did a good. Ordered a smoothie here called the rainbow connection earlier today. The smoothie was alright but the customer service definitely needed some improvement. I walked into the empty place with my partner to check out the menu. No greeting was received and no friendly recommendations were made after we looked at their menu for several minutes. My partner got his smoothie first but I didn't get mine until 3 other people ordered after us. Those 3 folks felt strange getting their order promptly before me. I understand that the smoothie I ordered had many ingredients to put together but the person behind the counter clearly doubled the recipe which made it much longer to make. After she poured the smoothie into a plastic cup she set the large remainder aside and instructed her co-worker not to wash it right away. It seemed to me that she didn't mind having me wait a while so she could make extra for herself. She did apologize for the wait but it did not seem genuine at all. If I knew this would be the experience here at Main Squeeze today, I would have instead went straight to their fridge to pick up an already made cold-pressed juice than to experience customer service that lacked in prioritizing the customer's time. read more

So I got 2 vegan brownies.. they're the size of a silver dollar, if that.. frozen with ice burns on them.. hard as a rock- for $6. I tipped $5. Don't get on that train to Indio to get a great date smoothie. This little juice bar on Main Street in Santa Monica has a great one, an outstanding date smoothie. It's called the Late Night Date, and be sure to ask for it with extra dates. You will be astounded by how good it is. Even a person from Indio will be impressed if they try it. A little on the pricier side - my usual Chocolate Thunder with whey protein added is $12.50 - but you definitely taste the higher quality ingredients. They pull out all the ingredients in front of you - whole almonds, fresh kale, etc. - and grind everything up in front of you. Very ethical and dietary restriction-friendly establishment, and you can definitely taste the difference. They have la colombe coffees, which are FANTASTIC, and with you first check-in you get a 20% off coupon! Huzzah! All the girls who work here are just the absolute sweetest. Most of the time there's a little extra smoothie, and they'll give it to you to finish in addition to the real smoothie. Love it! Parking is in the lot just north of the little juice bar (Between Main Squeeze and Hiptique) - there's a couple spots designated for Main Squeeze. Come for a high-quality smoothie or if "real" ingredients are your passion. I like to do a killer workout at the nearby SM stairs or pacific palisades park and come here as my reward afterwards. The bad news it is terribly overpriced( $12.50 )and the quantity of the açai bowls is unbelievably small. I asked for an additional item (peanut butter which they didn't have) and they want to charge two dollars to replace it with almond butter. Again keep in mind I travel quite a bit and tasted Acai bowls at numerous places. This is got to be the worst value for the money that I've ever experienced. I stumbled upon this cute little spot walking down Main Street and saw that they were offering samples on some of their drinks. One taste of the late night date smoothie got me walking inside the store because I was immediately in love. As I walked in and peeked at the menu, I was greeted by a very friendly girl. She suggested that I add blueberry to my smoothie to freshen up my drink because it is already so rich and sweet. It certainly paired well and I thoroughly enjoyed my beverage. For $12 not sure if it's quite worth it for what looked like a 12-16oz cup and I could probably make this at home.
