Bagels are real decent.New owners seem to taken this place over.Customer service appears friendly (but only stops at "Can I help you") Its quite annoying to hear the people behind the counter always ask you "Is that it?" after you order what any normal person would order from a bagel shop.I am pretty sure people swing by here out of necessity.Previous staff or owners seem to provide a more mom and pop store feel rather than a sold out vendor take. Bagels weren't as fresh as I would like, but I enjoyed what I ate. I also ordered some kind of coffee milkshake could have been creamier. One woman was working when I was there and she was helping a family before me, so I understand that she was under a lot of timed pressure, though I felt quite ignored for the 5 minutes I waited to be helped. The whole family loves this place!!! I have taken out and ate in. Eating in is nice that you can sit at the window and people watch downtown while you eat. Quick fix for breakfast/lunch. The portion size is good and fills you up (they are not stingy on the spread/fillings like some more well known bagel shops). Wide variety to choose from (somewhere I actually have to think about what I want vs. get the same thing every time). The staff remembers you after a couple of visits. I originally started going to the one in San Jose, but when moved to Morgan Hill was pleasantly surprised. I am just as happy. To boot the prices are great for what you get! read more

I walked in a few days ago to get a sandwich. The place was empty and there was a weird looking guy just sitting in the back. He didn't greet me, in fact he didn't even get up until I yelled out hello. I placed my order, he took my money and he proceeded to make my sandwich without washing his hands or putting on gloves! I asked him to wash his hands as he had just handled money -and God knows what else!...apparently his concept of clean hands is different than mine as he went to "wash"his hands, right in front of me, WITHOUT using soap! Completely disgusting right? I asked for my money back and walked out. I was already ticked off at his poor customer service, but his blatant disregard for hygiene put me over the edge. Been coming here since I moved back into town a couple years ago. Friendly service, sense of community, and always finding something new to try. As of late, been stuck on their fruit smoothies. Don't be surprised if there is a line. Just know the good is that good for the wait. read more

I have started to frequent this bagel shop on a weekly basis after a nearby meeting I attend (no, not for addictions, an editorial meeting!) and I love how well I'm treated. Always friendly service, good latte's and fresh real bagels. And not to mention free downtown Wifi! The young lady who serves me never forgets to say goodbye when I start to head out the door. A bonus is the location on the corner with big windows for people and dog watching! read more

Great food. Many options, including numerous bagel sandwiches, drinks, good coffee. Friendly service. Sometimes there are flies buzzing around which can be annoying, if you use the inside seating, since the door is left wide open to the outside. But we've been back several times. We just get the food to go. If you get there and everyone's in the back, just yell or make use of the bell on the counter. The spring in the bell is weak, so you kind of have to lift its button and then slap it down. How fun!!! read more

Road passed this place on my road bike Saturday morning. Needed to refuel my engines and this was the perfect spot. The bagels were yummy. I need a low fat snack (lol) so I had the crunchy blueberry toasted with cream cheese. All I can say is OMG.The staff was friendly and fast. There was a line the whole time I was there but they kept it moving. I wanted to order another bagel for the road but held back. They always remember what I like to order, service is super friendly & prompt, increased selection of drinks, & more menu items. Depending on when you go sometimes their selection of bagels is limited BUT to me this just means they are busy. The new owners really kicked this place up a notch & it's by far my first choice if I'm out & about in MH for breakfast. read more

I love this bagel shop!! I eat here on all my days off when I'm in Morgan Hill. I usually get their veggie sandwhich, which consists of the toasted bagel, cheese, avacado (or cream cheese;I specify avacado), sprouts, cucumbers, tomatoes, and mayo (though I substitute mustard). Instead of potato chips, I normally get their bagel chips, which, if you are into salty snacks, which I am, are awesome! They have a red peppery substance sprinkled on them (paprika?), and they are very spicy and good. I think I am in the minority of people who buy them but I think they're awesome. They have other chips too, such as Lay's, Pop Chips, Sun Chips, etc. If you don't find the bagel chips in clear plastic bags on the shelves where the other chips are stored, be sure to ask for them! If I could offer one minor criticism, it is only that it is usually very warm in there. Some AC would help. :) But since I normally get my stuff to go it isn't an issue. Great place! This place is awesome. Billy and Kim are great. The food is wonderful. I get the fuel (#23) because it is the best. I mix it up by getting it on different bagels or a croissant. They have good products, but an employee's inability to understand English ruined my visit. I said I didn't want any cream cheese on my bagel; I had to stop her from going to the counter to slice it open and put cream cheese on it! I asked for two onion bagels and one garlic bagel; I was given one garlic bagel. I asked for an egg and sausage sandwich with no cheese; she also removed the egg, giving me sausage only. Was disappointed from the moment I walked in. The place has storage all over the place. Not inviting, no matter how the food and coffee is. I only had coffee and it was just OK. I am wondering what others saw in the coffee I didn't. Yes, it is really the only place downtown early in the morning, but I don't plan on returning. There are too many other places to have coffee outside of the downtown. To the owners: Get the strorage out of the view of the customers. read more

The best milk tea I've found around south San jose area. I used to live in Morgan Hill and had to move and now I drive there for the milk tea. Bagels are yummy too. I especially like the salami bagel sandwich. Prices are reasonable. Doesn't have a/c. I recommend this place for bagels and milk tea! read more

We usually go in the morning for breakfast I take my 5 kids with me.the customer service is amazing both the women and the gentleman that work there are always so kind to my kids. they're very fast and speedy with prepping all of our food. there's usually six of us I don't know how she always keeps all of our orders straight but she does. they have never messed up our order. price is reasonable. inside and out is very clean. they have a great variety of bagels which suits everybody in our family. one of our favorite places to go read more

I really like their bagels. They have a great variety and their selection is good even if you get there after the morning rush. The staff members are friendly. It does get a little crowded and the store is kind of small so if you're looking to eat there, it might not work out. But if you're looking for a good bagel for a good price, go here. read more

This is the second time our office has ordered bagels. The bagels are delicious..BUT the customer service is TERRIBLE. They are extremely RUDE and I would think they would want our business. The second time we went in we presented a 50% coupon that is sponsored by Live Oak. It is a buy 1 get 50% off "ANY ITEM". They denied the coupon stating it's only on deli items. I'm pretty sure "ANY ITEM" doesn't mean "DELI ONLY" The main complaint is "Customer Service" Although we enjoy their bagels we will start going elsewhere. Rude (not even a hello), unfriendly counter person barking at customers. Cramped interior with no direction on where the line starts. 9:00AM on a Saturday, they were out of 3 of 3 items I requested. Settled for 2 toasted plain bagels - light butter - and a diet soda. Decent tasting, but smallish bagels were swimming in a puddle of butter. Just shy of $8.00. I didn't have great experience. Online ordering system was down? I had to leave without lunch for the day... Usually when food services offer online ordering they at least make an effort to call and let customers know. There's alternate ways around it and yelp is willing to help with its 24eat app or whatever. Really a huge fail on both parts. read more

Main St bagels is the best place to grab a bite to eat. Im a college student so im always on the go. Main st makes my life a little easier because the customer service is amazing. I barely walk in and they greet me saying hi to me and ask me if i want the ususal. (Which is always a delicious cheese bagel with thier homemade jalapeno cream cheese) Barely took 5 minutes of my time and im already out the door with food in hand. Plus, if youre looking for a place to just escape from the world, i suggest go there, not only do they have wireless internet so you can do your work but also you meet a lot of new and interesting people there. So i say, go there now! Prices arent bad and customer service is highly notable. read more

One of my regular stops on the weekend! I enjoy coming in here. They are very friendly and have taken time to learn my order. Depending on the time of day I pop in, the owner knows whether I'm ordering a "The Fuel" with bacon on a croissant or a turkey no sprouts on a croissant and a Tuna Nosh no mayo on a croissant for my colleague. The food is good and reasonably priced. I recommend the breakfast bagels and the flavored cream cheese spreads. Unfortunately, the store is a bit cluttered and not very comfortable to sit in, but the seating outside is OK. Staff could be more customer friendly, especially to kids. read more
