Give a 4 instead of a 5 because the potatoes were more raw than anything else. The egg white and veggie omelette was great, definitely would repeat along with their toasted everything bagel. I tried a few items before reviewing. I like the service and location. Ample seating. I tried their bagel with their nova spread and added capers. I thought the bagel was excellent. The nova spread scared me because of how pink it was but had a really good flavor. I really enjoyed us and I thought the bagel was nice and soft. It's hard to find a good bagel like that. I also tried their home fries. I have to say I did not like them at all. For someone who may not like tomatoes that would be an awful surprise. They have like smashed tomatoes mixed in with the potatoes. I actually enjoy tomatoes but still did not like the home fries. They were nothing like what I had hoped for. I also tried their pizza bagel. It is advertised when you walk in and also on the TV on the wall. It looked delicious. When I got it I was a little disappointed because of how long it took. Everything else came out super quick but the bagel did take quite a bit of time. Then after trying to eat it the outside was super hot but the inside of the bagel was still cold. The cheese in the sauce was just not warm enough. It was also very expensive. I did not expect it to be a combo with chips and found out as I was leaving that it was a combo. I don't think I would suggest us again. Lastly I try to coffee drink. In the morning I always have to have a coffee to go with my breakfast and I tried a caramel cappuccino. The machine seemed pretty fancy so I had high hopes but I was just a little bit disappointed as it wasn't very hot. The cappuccino had excellent flavor but I would've liked it to be hot. Altogether I think they have excellent bagels but as far as anything else that actually requires more cooking I'm not sure if I would recommend. Good bagels and sandwiches, however, poor customer service skills. Calling in to place an order ahead of time is a difficult task as the service staff typically puts the patron on hold and proceeds to take order after order before answering the call. While on hold you can hear the orders as the phone is still live but laying on the counter. I called a mile down the road and was still on hold as I pulled up to the restaurant, and was answered as I walked in the door. Only one employee was taking orders at the register. Solution: please answer phone calls quickly and efficiently. This helps speed up counter service when these patrons come in. Perhaps you can have a phone customer service rep that can assist that? read more

Makeb's Bagels & Deli, I strolled in to get a bite to eat. Had the grilled chicken lunch sandwich with all but onions and mustard. It wasn't busy and just about at that time that you think to yourself that this is taking to long for the amount of people present, my food was ready. Nice presentation, bagel cut in two, all extras were present minus the ones I didn't want, the bagel was slightly toasted and the chicken was warm, overall it was fantastic and I was impressed.
