I ordered the crab cake platter, when I got my food there were no hush puppies. When I asked the waitress about it, she starts grinning saying , oh I forgot to tell you! When the waitress came with the check, I stated my frustration and requested the manager. It was 10:30 a.m. 4th of July I decided to take the recommendation from a friend and go try Malabar Mo's conch fritters & they're famous talked about wings. The food was really good and the service was off the chain. Leslie knows her menu and her craft. Her personality is incredible. I hear and see that they have live music on the weekends not sure on the other days. So I'm looking forward to going back to enjoy the experience once again. read more

We have ridden past this place for years and finally decided to stop in and I am glad we did! There is plenary of outside seating as well as a few inside tables. We ordered the house wings and Thai chili wings. OUTSTANDING! The Darn Good Fries should have been named mediocre fries, not my personal favorite. Went for the Friday fish and chips and then stay for the band. Fish was EXCELLENT, which, oddly is difficult to find in Florida. The hush puppies were good, fries were mediocre, and something was definitely wrong with the coleslaw. What went wrong: we were a group of 12. One bottle of malt vinegar for the entire group. Had to request forks, are you supposed to eat coleslaw with your fingers? When we finished eating, waitress brought our checks, no opportunity to request additional drinks. After the bill was paid no further table service was offered though we stayed for the band. Conversation prior to the band was impossible because most of the other patrons were shouting at each other to be heard, I realize Mo's has no control over that! Doubtful if I will return. read more

Yes it's a biker bar, that being said, why are there so many darn cars there taking up perfectly good bike parking? It's the people! From everywhere, going everywhere they stop in for a cold beer on a hot day. They stay for the band, eat some shrimp & find themselves with new friends. Good outdoor seating (get a seat by the big tree before its too crowded) or hang on the deck. This is not a steakhouse, more like Earl's in Sebastian or Longdoggers in west Palm Bay. Went there tonight for the first time. Went inside with the a/c and sat right down at a table. The waitress was very nice and explained to us that they have a pretty small kitchen . We could have left at that point but we had heard the food was really good and I was glad we stayed. The place is pretty much a bar and if that bothers you then you might not like this. However if it does not bother you stay and have some really good food. My husband had the fish and chips. He paid the extra $1 for the onion rings and they were so good as was the cod . I had the fried shrimp. Being from New England we are used to really good fried food and these were outstanding. We will definitely be back there.? read more

Went here last week for a couple of drinks. I want to say Amanda was our server. She was very sweet and attentive. I didn't have to look for her once. Still full from breakfast, my boyfriend and decided it would be best not to order any food. I saw and could smell their chicken wings though!! They have outdoor and indoor seating which I only noticed as I was leaving the restaurant. The only thing that bothered me a bit is the bartender's reaction when I asked her for water. I stopped in last Wednesday, September 21, 2011 around 1:00 pm. I was in the mood for WINGS. Good call, Some of the best I have had in ages. I had the "Cajun Garlic Butter" Wings. Really good! Fried nice and crispy, done all the way through. Coated in a cajun dry mixture with butter and garlic. I will go back again for other flavors. I was curious about the wing sauce so I ask the bartender (Leslie) for a small cup of the Hot Wing Sauce to dip them in. Also very good. Infact, it went very well with the cajun spices. I love Malabar Mo's. I am a local and have been coming for 50yrs and experienced all the changes. I am so happy the remodel has kept the original layout and warmth of the early Malabar history with original hard wood accents through out along with modernizing the deck area out back. The food is five star worthy in my book. We had fish tacos, steamed shrimp that we out of this world good not to be surpassed by the fish basket that was even good the next day cold for breakfast. The wings are NEVER a disappointment. Beer is always ice cold. Jen was our waitress, very friendly, good since of humor, as all the wait staff that make you comfortable and adds to your special Mo's experience. It made our great day all that more special. Came here this past weekend with my husband. We ordered the Sunday special: 20 wings and a pitcher of Bud Light for $20. We also ordered a side of fries and gator tail. The gator tail came out quick and it was very good. Small, tender nuggets of gator, deep fried with a horseradish sauce. It was very good! Then the wings came out. We ordered them "extra, extra, extra crispy". We told the server that we basically wanted them burnt. Well... the wings came out raw. They were not hot. Not even warm. The skin was soggy. I took one bite and spit it out immediately. The sever was very apologetic and very sweet. It wasn't her fault. I was there for the first time yestetday, it was a Sunday. When we arrived it was busy and our friend said lets gi up ti the deck. There was only a couple up there they said they got their drinks from the bar, themselves. If we were just drinking this would be bo problem, but all 4of us were hungry. Our friend went down to ask if we could get served up on the deck, no problem was the answer. Our server was a very pleasant young woman, she and the kitchen even accomodated me being a vegetarian. Fan was "okay". Typical bar food, but with more seafood options. A lot of fried food, but you can find a few healthier options. The only "sides" they offer are cole slaw, fries, or hush puppies.
